Ex-England captain backs ‘best man manager’ Eddie Jones
Welcome to the "Rugby News" page. We will provide you with the latest information about camisetas rugby Inglaterra. In this article, you can find the answers you need.

Chris Robshaw has come to the defence of England head coach Eddie Jones after a disappointing Six Nations campaign, explaining how he gets the best out of his players.
Jones has come under fire after England finished fifth in the Six Nations for the second time since the Australian took over as head coach.
Former England captain Robshaw was speaking on BT Sport‘s Rugby Tonight and explained how the experienced coach is so effective at dealing with his players.
“One of the biggest things about Eddie is his man management and how he gets the best out of people.  For me, he’s the best person I’ve ever worked with in terms of that,” Robshaw explained.
“Every morning he’ll walk into where we have breakfast, and in a conventional year, he’ll say good morning and have a moment with every person.
“Whether that’s a guy in for his first time, to his captain, to his kit man, to his head coach. He acknowledges everyone but he treats people differently.”

Robshaw was replaced as England’s captain by Dylan Hartley when Jones first took over as head coach, but retained his starting position in the back row.
Despite losing the captaincy, Robshaw remained an integral part of England’s team until 2018, and admired how Jones would approach each player based on their personality.
Tumblr media
“I remember when I was playing under Eddie and it was me, [James] Haskell and Billy Vunipola in the back row,” Robshaw said.
“He would give Vunipola responsibility to encourage him and get him to come out of his shell and make him a better player. Someone like myself, he would just have quiet words with and be very honest with me.
“With someone like James Haskell – they would just take the mick out of each other all day. He treated us all differently but he got the best out of us. I think stuff like this was so important.”

Marianne Vos: Van Aert's win gave us some pressure at Gent-Wevelgem
Welcome to our bicycle news page, where you can get the latest bicycle information. Here, we also provide the latest maillot velo Jumbo Visma.
Tumblr media
Marianne Vos filled a rare void in her stellar palmares by taking her first-ever win at Gent-Wevelgem. It was also the first-ever victory for her new women's team Jumbo-Visma, and she said she felt the pressure to win after learning that her teammate Wout van Aert won the men's race earlier on Sunday.
The Jumbo-Visma leader also moved into the overall lead of the Women's WorldTour and brings confidence into next weekend's Tour of Flanders.
"It is great to take this victory into the coming week, but that will be a different story in the Tour of Flanders," said Vos."You have to be there, if it went well today, that doesn’t mean it will go well next week, too, but it gives a lot of courage."
Vos won Gent-Wevelgem as she was fastest to the line in the sprint of a reduced peloton, beating Lotte Kopecky (Liv Racing) and Lisa Brennauer (Ceratizit-WNT).
"I like to race in Flanders, you always have to be at the front, and certainly in a race like Gent-Wevelgem everything can happen. And then in a finish like today, well, you have to be there, and the team did a fantastic work to get me into that position. Then it was still about timing. I started my sprint and thought, oh, it is still a long way, but [the wind] was to my advantage."
If you like to ride a bicycle, you can't miss this cycling jersey. We also sell maillot velo Jumbo Visma manche longue.
This season, she will target on Tour of Flanders, Amstel Gold Race, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Olympic Games and the Road World Championships. And she is off to a good start with 7th at Strade Bianche, 3rd at GP Oetingen, and 2nd at Trofeo Alfredo Binda, before taking the win at Gent-Wevelgem.
She opted to skip the Classic Brugge-De Panne on Thursday, and so might have come into Gent-Wevelgem a little fresher than her rivals, who battled the strong crosswinds for 158km along the North Sea in De Panne.
"I feel good and had a good preparation for the season," Vos said. "It is nice to go into a race with confidence, but still everything has to fall into place, and it is great that it worked out at Get-Wevelgem. It gives confidence for the next weeks, but first I want to enjoy this win."

Marianne Vos: Longo Borghini was the strongest today
Welcome to our bicycle news page, where you can get the latest bicycle information. Here, we also provide the latest maillot velo Jumbo Visma.
Tumblr media
The decisive attack of the Trofeo Alfredo Binda came with 25 kilometres to go, on the climb to Orino. After Trek-Segafredo teammates Ruth Winder and Tayler Wiles had softened up the peloton, Katarzyna Niewiadoma (Canyon-SRAM) made her first move. However, she was caught off guard when Trek’s Elisa Longo Borghini counterattacked and opened a gap.
The Italian champion would not be seen again by the other riders until the finish line, and the high-profile chase group that consisted of Niewiadoma, Marianne Vos (Team Jumbo-Visma), Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig (FDJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine Futuroscope), Soraya Paladin (Liv Racing), and Margarita Victoria García (Alé BTC Ljubljana Cipollini) had to settle for sprinting for second place, a position won by Vos.
“You always want to win, but Longo Borghini was the strongest today,” said the Dutchwoman. “When Elisa attacked, I tried to follow her, but I could not close the gap. After that we chased her with five [riders], full on, but we did not get any closer. Then you know that it will be a fight for the second place.”
If you like to ride a bicycle, you can't miss this cycling jersey. We also sell maillot velo Jumbo Visma manche longue.
Uttrup Ludwig tried to stay with Longo Borghini when the latter attacked, but she too had to let the Italian go. In the end, the Danish climber finished third, replicating her finish from 2019.
“Earlier in the race, I had two mechanicals, so it cost me some energy to return. Luckily, I had Brodie [Chapman] who brought me back,” said Uttrup Ludwig. “When Elisa went on the climb, I lacked that little bit extra to follow her. I am happy with the podium, but I still want more.”
Niewiadoma agreed with Vos and Uttrup Ludwig that they lacked that last bit to be able to follow Longo Borghini, so it is logical that the Italian champion could open a gap. “I wanted to test my legs and reduce the size of the peloton so it would be easier to find the right position for the last lap,” Niewiadoma said of her attack. “When Elisa attacked, I lacked some acceleration to go with her. I was hoping we could catch her, but we did not manage to do that. I attacked again on the final climb, aiming to open up a gap and go for the podium, but it did not work.”
Once the chase group had come together, the quintet could normally be expected to make up time on a single frontrunner – however, this is where race dynamics and tactics came into play. In and shortly after the descent from Orino, when the gap was only a few seconds, both Longo Borghini and the chasing group were still at their limit. Later, the presence of Vos, a joint-record as a four-time winner in the Trofeo Binda, who was clearly the strongest sprinter in the group, loomed large: If they worked together to bring back Longo Borghini, wouldn’t Vos just beat them in the sprint? With this thought in the back of their heads or, like Niewiadoma, already planning a final attack in a bid for a podium spot, some of the riders hesitated to fully commit to the chase.
Longo Borghini, meanwhile, had no such tactics to think about and simply pedalled as fast as she could, eventually winning the race by 1:42 minutes.
“As a team we did a very good race,” Vos said about Jumbo-Visma and securing a podium spot. “We were represented well in the front and had a rider in the break with Anouska [Koster]. That’s why I was able to save myself a little bit longer. As a result, I could save some energy and I could start fresh in the final. That also gives a certain pressure and motivation to do well and reward the team for their work. I am happy that it worked out.”

Matt Dawson slams England for “comical” performance against Ireland
Welcome to the "Rugby News" page. We will provide you with the latest information about camisetas rugby Inglaterra. In this article, you can find the answers you need.
Tumblr media
Matt Dawson has criticised England for their “ridiculous” penalty count after they were dominated by Ireland at the Aviva Stadium. England have had major struggles with their discipline for the entirety of the 2021 Six Nations Championship and were again let down by conceding far too many penalties against Ireland.
Despite both sides scoring two tries apiece, Ireland won by a comfortable 14 points, as Johnny Sexton happily slotted six penalties during the encounter.
Former England captain Dawson was speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live after the game and was once again exasperated with the ill-discipline from Eddie Jones’ side.
“This is a massive problem for England. I mean, it is becoming ridiculous. You are never, ever going to win big test matches when you’re giving [this many] penalties,” Dawson commented.
“It is comical. Any international team knows that your target is sub-10, that is the standard. This is where the players have to genuinely have a word with themselves. This is not about the coaches. The players are responsible for this.”
While the numerous penalties England gave away certainly didn’t help their cause, disciplinary problems were certainly not the sole reason Ireland emerged as comfortable winners.
England were on top during the first 15 minutes or so of the match, but after Keith Earls’ brilliant try, Ireland dominated proceedings, right up until Bundee Aki was sent off for a high tackle.
Tumblr media

‘They were not in the game, in any way, shape or form’
Dawson believes many of England’s problems come from the gameplan that they are employing against certain teams, saying he was in no mood to be listening to excuses from the England camp.
“England were not in the game, not in the game in any way, shape or form,” Dawson said.
“I don’t care how anybody from the England camp can wrap it up with excuses and reasons, they were not in this game for 90 per cent of it.
Tumblr media
“Yet again, we are going to be talking about their inability to play the right style of the rugby against their opposition.”
England have matched their worst-ever finish of fifth place in the Six Nations as a result of the loss to Ireland, having won just two of their five matches.

Vlasov, Izagirre give Astana-Premier Tech double Paris-Nice podium
Welcome to our bicycle news page, where you can get the latest information about bicycles. Here, we also provide the latest maillot velo Astana.
Tumblr media
After Primož Roglič (Jumbo-Visma) suffered two crashes on the final stage of the 2021 edition of Paris-Nice, Aleksandr Vlasov and Ion Izagirre (Astana-Premier Tech) claimed the two other podium spots behind race winner Max Schachmann (Bora-Hansgrohe) after a chaotic final stage.
It wasn't smooth sailing, however, and Vlasov had to fight back from a crash on the fast, technical revised final stage to Levens.
The stage was reduced to 92.7 kilometres after a late change because of COVID-19 restrictions in Nice and the pace was on from the gun. Vlasov crashed on the first lap along with teammate Alexey Lutsenko, who later abandoned the race. After Roglic crashed a second time and it became clear the race leader would not rejoin, Astana attacked to try to distance Schachmann but couldn't shake the German and came to the finish in the same group behind stage winner Magnus Cort (EF Education-Nippo).
Vlasov ended the race as the runner-up and best young rider at 19 seconds with Izagirre rounding out the podium in third at 23 seconds.
"I am really happy with my second place and the white jersey," Vlasov said.
"I am here at Paris-Nice for the first time and it is so nice to debut in this great race with a podium result. The last day was a nervous one, the pace was incredible while the parcours was a tricky one. At one moment, I crashed together with Alexey Lutsenko, but, fortunately I was able to get back on the bike quickly and to continue the race.
If you like cycling, you can't miss this cycling jersey. We also sell maillot velo Astana manche longue.
"I am sorry for race leader Primož Roglič who crashed too, I hope he is okay," said Vlasov.
"The team did a fantastic job for me and Ion in the finale. We tried to attack, I think I did it three times, and also Ion tried several times. But the last ascent was not steep, but fast, so it was almost impossible to make the difference. However, we tried and I am happy that we didn't give up."
Roglic came close to catching the end of the peloton after his first crash but a second  spill and the pain of a dislocated shoulder meant he lost time, tumbling down the overall standings from the lead to 15th place.
There were several other riders who crashed: David Gaudu (Groupama-FDJ) and Sebastian Mora (Movistar) went down and Roglic, following Tim Declercq (Deceuninck-QuickStep) almost crashed again when Declercq misjudged a bend and went off-road.
Izagirre called the route 'dangerous'.
"The stage was really crazy with high speeds all day long, attacks and crashes on a dangerous route. We had a few crashes in our team and also Roglic crashed too," Izagirre said. "I am sorry for him to lose the race in this way, but that is a part of cycling. I hope he will recover soon.
"We tried to follow our strategy and our team did a great race. On the final climb we all were in front, working hard and trying to make a selection in the group and to try to isolate Schachmann. I attacked and also Aleksandr made some attacks but with that fast pace and on a profile like the one we had, it was impossible to distance him as he is really strong in this kind of finale."
The result is Izagirre's first WorldTour stage race podium finish since he won the Itzulia Basque Country tour in 2019. " I am quite happy with my podium place. I mean this is Paris-Nice and it is a great race and a podium here is a big achievement. I am on the right way towards my biggest goals, my shape is good but I still hope to improve some things to be strong in my next races. In this race we rode really well together as a team and it was great to win the team classification."

Ex-Leinster player Jimmy Gopperth praised for ‘world class’ sportsmanship
Welcome to the "Rugby News" page. We will provide you with the latest information about camisetas rugby Leinster. In this article, you may find the answer you need.
Tumblr media
‘Best piece of sportsmanship I have seen in any sport’ Wasps’ Jimmy Gopperth has been praised for his “world class” honesty after he admitted to referee Karl Dickson that Bristol Bears lock Joe Joyce had scored a try against his team.
Joyce powered over the tryline in the 55th minute of the Gallagher Premiership clash between Bristol and Wasps, but the grounding was unclear due to a mound of bodies obstructing the referee’s view.
Dickson was about to check with his TMO to ensure that the ball had been grounded, but before going upstairs Gopperth informed the referee that the try had in fact been scored.
If you like rugby shirts, you can find cheap comprar camisetas rugby Leinster on our website.
Dickson thanked Gopperth for his honesty, and the game was able to get back underway quickly as no TMO referral was needed.
‘World class Jimmy Gopperth’
The former Leinster fly-half has been praised for his honesty on Twitter, with Gloucester’s Matt Banahan leading the applause for the 37-year-old New Zealander.
“Best piece of sportsmanship I have seen in any sport for a long time, world class Jimmy Gopperth,” Banahan wrote.
Former England hooker Brian Moore was similarly impressed by the Wasps playmaker for cutting out the need for a TMO check.
“Bravo Jimmy Gopperth of Wasps for telling the referee that Bristol had scored and he didn’t need to go to the TMO,” Moore said.
Wasps were comfortably beaten by Bristol in the end, as the Premiership league leaders ran out as 37-20 winners at Ashton Gate Stadium on Friday night.
The Bears extended their lead at the top of the table to 11 points in doing so, in what has been a fantastic season so far for Pat Lam’s side.

Eddie Jones insists ‘bandwagon’ will not make him drop Owen Farrell
Welcome to the "Rugby News" page, we will provide you with the latest camisetas rugby Inglaterra, you can find the answers you need in this article.
Tumblr media
Eddie Jones will not drop Owen Farrell despite the numerous calls in the media calling for the England captain’s replacement. Owen Farrell has come under scrutiny since England’s loss to Scotland in the first round of the Six Nations after a performance that left much to be desired.
The England captain repeatedly kicked the ball away at Twickenham, giving his side few opportunities to attack while handing the opposition plenty of chances.
Despite the off-colour performance Jones told Sky Sports that he will not drop the Saracens player on the back of one poor game.
“Every player’s up for selection. It’s all dependent on form – you look at historical form, present form and you have to make the right decisions for the team and Owen’s no different to any other player.
“Owen was disappointed with his performance against Scotland, like a number of players and like I was in my own performance and we’re all working to improve.
“Owen’s been a highly-consistent, highly-successful player for us. Like a number of players on Saturday, he wasn’t at his best. I know there’s a bandwagon.
“He’s an outstanding player and, like any outstanding player, they can have a game where they’re not at their best. Is that a reason to drop the player? I wouldn’t think so,” Jones commented.
Tumblr media
If you like rugby shirts, you can comprar camisetas rugby Inglaterra on our website.
“They’ve got to keep performing at a high level.” The Australian coach has already dropped a captain in his time with England after Dylan Hartley was unable to fend off current first-choice hooker Jamie George.
While Jones revealed that Farrell would be dropped if necessary, he insisted he would not make such a big decision without first giving his captain time to improve.
“We are always trying to make the right assessment. We had to go through a difficult stage with Dylan Hartley when his form was tailing off.
Tumblr media
“We gave Dylan an amount of time to pick up his form but, due to injury and a number of other circumstances, it just wasn’t right for the team.
“It’s the same for anyone who’s the captain of the side, they’ve got to keep performing at a high level.
“But having one game where they’re not at the level expected is not a reason to start speculating on whether he’s going to be dropped or not.”

George Bennett: We'll support Tom Dumoulin whatever he does
You are welcome to watch our bicycle news page, where you can learn about the latest bicycle information. Here, we also provide the latest maillot velo Jumbo Visma.
Tumblr media
Kiwi climber George Bennett has declared his support for Tom Dumoulin following the Jumbo-Visma team leader's announcement in January to take an indefinite break from racing.
"As a guy, Tom has everybody on the team's support and, of course, we hope he comes back," said Bennett. "But he also needs to do what's best for him and what's going to make his life better, and only he knows what that is. We'll support him whatever he does."
Speaking to Cyclingnews in Oinville-sur-Montcient prior to the start of the second stage of Paris-Nice, Bennett admitted that it's hard for him to understand the extent of the pressure that Dumoulin was under as the Dutch leader of a Dutch team challenging to win the biggest titles in the sport.
"Being from New Zealand, where cycling isn't a big thing, my friends and my family don't care if I'm a bike rider or a postie," said Bennett.
If you like cycling, please don't miss this cycling jersey. We also sell maillot velo Jumbo Visma manche longue.
"I think the hard thing for Tom is that he's from Holland and Dutch people are much more focused on him. He's a big star there, he lives there, so everybody's interested in what he's doing. I think that it must be much harder. People can be very critical, so that's very different."
Asked if he'd ever felt the same kind of pressures that led to Dumoulin deciding on a hiatus from racing, Bennett explained: "I think everyone deals with the pressure differently. Personally, I really enjoy cycling and I don't believe that it brings me any trouble in my life off the bike.
"I love training, sometimes I love racing. Of course, there are shit times and bad races, and there are crashes, and there's pressure at times, but I'm sure if I worked in an office I'd have similar feelings now and then. I think everyone deals with it differently."
He added that being a Kiwi almost certainly helps him to switch his focus away from racing. "When I head back to New Zealand for a couple of months a year, I can walk around without anyone giving me any attention. The only time people care about me in New Zealand is if I'm taking up half the road. Then they want to abuse you rather than yell support. It's very different and for me, it's hard to relate to what Tom has to deal with," he said.
Bennett's racing focus this season is very much on the Giro d'Italia. "Everything we're doing, all of the training, is all geared to the Giro and trying to be good there in May, and also on not getting too good too soon, which has been a problem in earlier years," he said. "I'm just trying to time the run of form to May and to be good in the third week and not just in the first week."
The route, he believes, should suit his strengths as a racer. "It's very climbing-focused compared to the Tour de France, which has got a few more time trial kilometres, a few more intermediate and flat stages. There are a lot of opportunities for a climber in the Giro, but there's also a lot of traps, a lot of tricky finishes and places where it could go wrong. You can't just be a climber. You've got to be a really good bike racer to survive the Giro's tests."
Bennett is making his first racing appearance since winning his national road title in January and described it as "special" in being able to do so in a race as prestigious as Paris-Nice. "It was nice to put it on for the first time, but you forget about it pretty quickly when you've got 180 guys sprinting with you for a corner," he said, adding that the Jumbo team is focused completely on the GC objective of leader Primož Roglič.
"This is also a race where you really need all the guys with the same objective. It's not like Catalunya where you can maybe have a couple of leaders. Here, it's so technical and so tricky that you really need every guy helping out," said Bennett.
His words about the race being tricky proved prophetic, when Bennett crashed late on in the second stage, breaking his helmet in the impact. Jumbo-Visma DS Grischa Niermann was quickly on the scene.
"He was OK after the crash – at least he said he was OK. He crashed quite hard and also broke his helmet, but he could continue and, luckily, he could come back to the peloton," Niermann said after the stage.
"There was a doctor who was there, but I don't know if the concussion protocol was followed or not," Niermann replied when asked whether the Kiwi had been assessed and given medical authorisation to keep racing. "The race doctor gave the sign that he could continue."
Niermann added that there had been safety issues throughout the day, given the road furniture and narrow roads in the final section of the stage.
"There was a narrowing after the [intermediate] sprint and there were lots obstacles and other narrowings. That's just the way it is, with more and more road furniture appearing," he said. "For me, the last 50km for a day with a bunch sprint – especially the run-in with all the narrow roads and sharp turns – was a little bit too much."

Jake Stewart continues to impress with second in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad
You are welcome to watch our bicycle news page, where you can learn more about the latest bicycle information. Here, we also provide the latest maillot velo Groupama-FDJ.
Tumblr media
British first-year pro Jake Stewart (Groupama-FDJ) took the biggest result of his career on Saturday with second place behind Davide Ballerini in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
For Stewart, the result was a continuation of his fine start to the season, and his pedigree for Belgian one-day racing that stretches back to his U23 days.
Stewart was a distant second to Ballerini on Saturday but he navigated a technical finish far better than more established sprinters and made up ground on several riders before the line. Ballerini simply had the better positioning and a far superior lead-out train on the day but Stewart took confidence from his performance, which came after fourth overall in Etoile de Besseges in early February.
“Besseges was a bit of a surprise but when you come to a race with confidence and good legs you usually can pull out a good result. Today was a bit of a surprise but I had good legs in Besseges and carried that into today. I was always prepared for today,” Stewart told Cyclingnews and a small cluster from the media after his second place.
“There was no wind today and it was good weather and that allowed for a big group to come to the finish. It wasn’t as hard as in previous years but I’ve been supported really well in the last two years with the development team at Groupama-FDJ and then I've stepped up to being a pro in October. This team is a good place for me and I’ve carried on progressing. I think it will be a good few years with the team.”
“It was hard from the Wolvenberg until the finish. It was about surviving really. I struggled over the Muur but once I was in that group I knew that I just needed to make it to the finish and follow Stefan and Kevin and let them do the work for me. Then I could do the sprint.”
Deceuninck-QuickStep were dominant throughout the race and had an answer at almost every turn but Stewart banked everything on the race coming back together in a sprint. He used his teammates in the finale and even when he lost their wheels in the closing stages he refused to panic. He navigated the final set of corners before exploding from the pack.
“I lost my teammates wheel but found Kevin Geniets again with about 500m to go. He helped me take the wheel of QuickStep and I was coming fast but there wasn’t enough road to take Ballerini. I keep surprising myself and a lot of people this year. No one really expected second place from myself but the team are really supportive and we have a good group here for the Classics. It’s a surprise but it can be expected with from a group like this.”
If you like cycling, please don't miss this cycling jersey. We also sell maillot velo Groupama-FDJ manche longue.
Stewart has been with the Groupama-FDJ team since 2019 and was second and third in the U23 versions of Gent-Wevelgem and the Tour of Flanders respectively. At the finish on Saturday the Belgian press asked ‘who is Jake Stewart?’ a question which drew a laugh from the 21-year-old.
“I’m still trying to discover my potential,” he said.
“This is where my heart is and I love the Belgian races. This is well I want to excel. It’s where I want to see a good career. Where weren’t sure where I was going to excel on the road but we’ve found my potential in these harder races. We’ll try and build on it.”

French Minister for Sport threatens to withdraw France from the Six Nations
Welcome to the "Rugby News" page. We will provide you with the latest information about camisetas rugby Francia. In this article, you can find the answers you need.
Tumblr media
‘We have given an authorisation, we can also withdraw that authorisation’ The French Minister for Sport Roxana Maracineanu has threatened to withdraw the France national team from the Six Nations after Les Bleus recorded 11 positive coronavirus cases.
As a result, France’s Six Nations encounter with Scotland that was due to take place this Sunday in Paris was postponed, with tournament organisers currently trying to find a suitable date to reschedule the match for.
Sports Minister Maracineanu was speaking to French television channel BFMTV, and confirmed that she was awaiting an explanation from the French Rugby Federation over the large amount of positive cases.
“For the moment I am awaiting the information which will be given to me by the FFR who had come to see me with a serious protocol which wanted the athletes and the staff to remain in a bubble with strict entry and exit conditions,” Maracineanu said, via RugbyRama.
The vice-president of the FFR Serge Simon told Midi Olympique that they were aware who “patient zero” is, saying that he was a “physical trainer” for the French squad.
Potential withdrawal from the Six Nations However, the Sports Minister suggested that she has been given contradictory information and called for the president of the FFR to speak directly to her.
“Patient zero, he has changed three times. So I would prefer that it be the person who came to present us the protocol who attests to me, that is – say the president of the federation and not Serge Simon,” Maracineanu said.
“At the Ministry of Sports, we have authorised players to travel and also to train under certain conditions. We have given an authorisation, we can also withdraw that authorisation.
Tumblr media
We prepare many products for rugby fans, you are welcome to comprar camisetas rugby Francia on our website.
“Where I’m worried is that we made an exception for athletes, for an organisation and I was very keen on it. They committed to a certain protocol. And when they did, it wasn’t just for rugby.
“It’s also for the rest of the sport, for the rest of the tournaments that are held elsewhere, that we all collectively have to be responsible. Then when there are mistakes, you have to take responsibility for your mistakes.”
Should France be removed from the Six Nations for the rest of the championship, it would have far-reaching implications for everyone involved.

Philipsen but no Van der Poel on latest start list for Omloop Het Nieuwsblad
Welcome to the bicycle news page, here are the latest news and information, if you are interested in cycling clothing, welcome to visit our tienda ropa ciclismo. There are many great cycling clothing here, and we look forward to your purchase.
Tumblr media
The provisional start list for Saturday's Omloop Het Nieuwsblad has been updated, with Jasper Philipsen drafted for Alpecin-Fenix after leaving the UAE Tour, but not Mathieu van der Poel.
The pair had to abandon the UAE Tour after stage 1 when a team staff member tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus. Neither were considered close contacts and were quickly allowed to return home, sparking speculation over possible appearances this weekend.
While much of the speculation centred on Van der Poel, the Tour of Flanders champion has not been included in the latest squad submitted to the race organisers by Alpecin-Fenix.  However, Philipsen, a new signing from UAE Team Emirates, has been included, taking the place of Scott Thwaites.
According to coronavirus protocols, riders must submit a negative PCR test six days and three days before the start of a one-day race. The 22-year-old Belgian passed the first of those hurdles during the round of tests that caught his staff member's case in the UAE on Sunday. He will have had to submit another negative result in Belgium on Wednesday morning.
It is unclear why Van der Poel has not been included in the latest start list, although it is still provisional. Alpecin-Fenix are yet to formally announce their seven-man squad.
Elsewhere, Peter Sagan has been removed from the start list last published on February 19. The three-time world champion recently tested positive for coronavirus and it was already indicated he would delay his season start. He has been replaced in Bora-Hansgrohe's lineup by Ide Schelling.
Michael Valgren, who fractured his hand in his first race for EF Education-Nippo at the Étoile de Bessèges, has also been removed, replaced by Mitch Docker.
Michael Schär, one of AG2R Citroën's new signings for the Classics, will miss the race as his wife is expecting the birth of their child. He is replaced by Julien Duval.
Alpecin-Fenix will race again at Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne on Sunday. Although the start list for that race has yet to be updated, Philipsen would likely also take part there given his sprinting abilities.

Keith Wood suggests delaying Lions tour by four years

The British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa has been thrown into disarray due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
There are currently four main options for how the Lions tour may proceed. The first is to play the series in South Africa as planned this summer with no crowds in attendance.
The second is option for the tour to be relocated to the UK and Ireland, where it would again most likely be played in front of empty stadiums.
The third option is to reschedule the tour to South Africa for next summer, however this would likely cause major disruptions in World Rugby’s planned calendar for 2022.
The fourth option, which has just emerged in recent days, is to play the series in Australia, where fans would be allowed to attend matches in their tens of thousands.
Delaying the tour by four years. However, Wood suggested a fifth option when speaking to RugbyPass, which would allow fans in South Africa to enjoy the full benefits of the tour.
Tumblr media
“There is heart and head here. The Lions is commercially one of the big brands in rugby and emotionally it brings together supporters from four countries which is unique in international sport and you want to preserve that.
“However, the Lions is being consistently squeezed and my fear is that if it goes too far from what is a touring side with 30,000 fans to games at home with no fans, will it keep its special place in rugby’s hearts?
“And if the Lions loses its allure that would be the shame of shames. It could be better to say, ‘Let’s delay the Lions cycle by four years with the tour to South Africa taking place in 2025 and push everyone back and preserve what is an incredible spectacle’.
Tumblr media
“I don’t think you can put the tour into another year because that would drive the unions mad, the clubs mad while changing World Cup preparation cycles,” Wood commented.
British, South African and Irish fans may be happy enough with the tour being pushed back to 2025.
But such a move would likely not be well-received down under as the Lions are expected to tour Australia in four year’s time.

Bauhaus early season Tour de la Provence win takes pressure off Bahrain Victorious

Bahrain Victorious is heading into the season with a confidence boost after sprinter Phil Bauhaus took the team’s first win of 2021 on the frantic finish of stage four of the Tour de la Provence.
After a late-catch of the break of the day, on the 163.2 km final stage from Avignon to Salon-de-Provence, Heinrich Haussler helped keep Bauhaus up the front and out of trouble so that on the run into the line the German rider was in a position to come from behind and edge ahead of the well-placed Davide Ballerini (Deceuninck-QuickStep) just before the line.
“Today the team executed the plan perfectly and were pretty confident that Phil could do it and he proved that this time last year that he can win. Everyone was dialed in and willing to help,” said Sports Director Rolf Aldag, who took up the role at Bahrain Victorious this season. “We had two goals, to not lose time with Wout for the GC and win the stage with Phil. The early season victory takes the pressure off. It was a nice victory against some other world-class sprinters. We can be very happy with the day.”
The sixth edition of the French race was boosted by a huge turn out from WorldTour teams this year as several other high profile races fell by the wayside due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It made for a star-studded field, with Wout Poels holding firm for fourth on the overall behind Ivan Sosa, (Ineos Grenadiers), world champion  Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-QuickStep) and Egan Bernal (Ineos Grenadiers).
Poels worked his way up the GC after finishing fourth on the decisive and testing stage 3, which finished on the slopes of Mont Ventoux. On that stage teammate Jack Haig also managed to finish ninth, which set the Australian rider up for seventh place on the overall in his debut race with Bahrain Victorious, and Dylan Teuns came 16th.
“Overall, I think yesterday was a decisive stage, and we had three guys up there with Dylan, Wout, and Jack, and they also did well. For Wout, he showed he could close the gaps to Alaphilippe and Egan Bernal, which should give him a lot of self-confidence. So overall, we feel we are ready for the season,” said Aldag.

Northampton Saints reveal 2020/21 home shirt
If you are interested in rugby, please visit our blog. On our website, we provide cheap men's football jerseys and more. Welcome to comprar camisetas rugby.
Tumblr media
Northampton Saints have revealed their brand new 2020/21 home shirt from Macron, which sees the club return to their traditional green, yellow and black hoops after paying tribute to the 2000 Heineken Cup winning jersey with a predominately green design last season.
The hoops on the design feature a tonal pinstriped pattern, while the shoulders and sleeves are black, in keeping with the design they wore back in 2019.
Notable this season is the return of Travis Perkins as the club’s main sponsor – the building supply company have opted to use its ToolStation sub-brand since 2017, but to mark the 20th anniversary of Travis Perkins’ association with Saints, the parent brand has returned for this season.
Saints will continue to wear their 2019/20 jerseys for the Premierships final rounds, which kick off this weekend, donning their new 2020/21 kit for the first time when the new season begins in November.

The Vuelta a Madrid has become the latest race in the 2021 season to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
The UCI 2.1-ranked four-day stage race, which was set to run May 6-9, was also cancelled last season due to the pandemic, and becomes the fifth early-season Spanish race to be  cancelled or postponed in 2021.
Vuelta a Madrid organisers, the Madrid Cycling Federation, announced that the health situation around COVID-19 and the infection rates in the region have led to the race's cancellation.
"The Madrid Cycling Federation, as the organising entity of the Vuelta a la Comunidad de Madrid, regrets to announce the suspension of its edition scheduled for 2021," read the statement.
"The serious health situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, with great incidence in our community, makes it impossible to carry it out with sufficient guarantees for riders, team staff, and the organisation.
"The federation will work to develop new and exciting projects in grassroots cycling for 2021, and with the hope of being able to definitively resume the Vuelta in 2022."
The race which was won by Arkéa-Samsic's Clément Russo in 2019, joins the Challenge Mallorca, Vuelta a Murcia, Vuelta a la Comunitat Valenciana, Vuelta a Andalucía, and the women's versions of the latter two races, among the early-season Spanish races on the postponed/cancelled list.
The UCI 2.2 Tour de Bretagne also announced it would be postponed due to the health situation and has requested a new date in September. The race was due to be held in late April, one week before the women's 2.1-ranked Bretagne Ladies Tour Ceratizit.
The one-day Clásica de Almería, to be held on February 14, is set to be the first Spanish race held in 2021, while the Volta a Catalunya, GP Indurain, Itzulia, Klasika Primavera, Vuelta a Asturias – set for March through May – are still on the calendar.
Other road races on the UCI calendar which have been postponed or cancelled include the Tour Down Under, Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, Vuelta a San Juan, Tour Colombia 2.1, and Volta ao Algarve.

The new Northampton Saints away shirt is a deckchair, let’s face it
Tumblr media
The new Northampton Saints 2020/21 away shirt shows that Macron understands something fundamental about the British psyche. The Italian brand understands that now as the nights are closing in, the days are getting shorter, the clocks are going back… we need something to keep us going, we need memories of sunnier times – the beach, the seaside, oh halcyon summer days…
Because that’s got to be it right? They wouldn’t just design a shirt that looks exactly like it’s been modelled on that most British of seaside sitting objects by accident, would they? Oh they did? Oh, shit. Oh well then.
Tumblr media
We kid, honestly it’s actually quite nice in a bit of an incongrous way – vertical stripes are very much not a rugby union thing after all, and have much more pedigree in the round-ball football, so it’ll be interesting to see how it goes down with the traditionalists.
We also like how it’s literally flipped the script (90 degrees) on the new home shirt, with the similar pinstriped effect going down the jersey instead of across. At least it isn’t red, eh?

Kasia Niewiadoma shows off Rapha's colourful 'galaxy of possibilities' design .
Tumblr media
Canyon-SRAM have revealed their all-new celestial-inspired jersey that will be worn while racing on the Women's WorldTour in 2021. The kit, designed by the team's clothing sponsor Rapha, keeps its traditional colourful motif enhanced with a splash of yellow across a deep, midnight blue galaxy backdrop.
"A galaxy of possibilities," the team stated upon the reveal of the jersey on their social media channels on Friday.
Kasia Niewiadoma showed off the new jersey that keeps its existing shades of purples, turquoises, blues, oranges, yellows and reds across the chest panel and sleeves, with bike sponsor Canyon diagonally across the front. Canyon and component sponsor SRAM are written diagonally across the back.
This year, the jersey sleeves include a Rapha-signature yellow band around the upper left arm, while there is space on the right arm to showcase the SRAM logo.
The jersey is paired with matching midnight blue shorts that showcase a new colourful cuff around the left leg.
“The kit makes me feel we are united. I’m so proud to be a part of this,” said the team's newest addition Elise Chabbey.
Canyon-SRAM are currently united at a team training camp with their roster that includes new signings Chloe Dygert, Mikayla Harvey, Elisa Chabbey and Zwift Academy winner Neve Bradbury.
