Impersonation

2013 was no 2028. 15 years played quite the huge difference. Everything to everyone was unfamiliar to her. Fortunately, she wasn't entirely alone. Reilly Tyne, the Darkdevil of her time, was stuck with her. Great. May's cousin was such an ass. 

On an even better both, May's father, Mr. Parker, was currently housing her. Not so bad, not too good. A curfew was something she could work around with.

For example, her current late night escape. The only thing that mattered was; a) She wasn't spotted  b) She got back before he does.

The Scarlet Spider of this time, as far as she knew, disappeared. Leaving questions and confusion to the general public. To put on her mask here, was dangerous and reckless. Not that it bothered her before.

The goal was to find out how she got here. What happened? Where did the explosion come from? And the best way to find out was to go back to the area she woke up in, downtown Manhattan. Not wanting to take the chance of being found out, the costume was safer then anything. Breaking her promise to May by dawning the mask once again.

Much to Felicity's surprise, the city was quiet. The occasional low rate crimes here and there. While she would opt to leave it to the police to do their jobs, she stepped in every now and then. She wasn't as strong as a powered hero, but she wasn't useless either. 

The grappling hook from the wrist band, taken from her mother, helped get her around unseen for the most part. Swinging from rooftop to rooftop. It was quite the thrill and it cleared her head of the issues at hand. Coming to a stop a block away from her wake up spot.

"Alright. Show me something good, Ol' New York." The wannabe hero murmured to herself from her spot at the edge. Staring down below.
