just saw the new image for the Doctor Who Beatles episode

#I've never seen an episode of doctor who but is there a possibility he can travel to alternate universes? Bc maybe that's what this is #There's another universe where John got his little Spanish movie glasses in 1962 instead of 66 #On a more serious note - maybe these guys will do a really great job acting. They don't have to look the part per sé - just embody the vibe #But if they're already going with the glasses thing then I doubt that much attention is gonna be given to spot-on performances #I won't be watching either way but this was fun to look at and read the tags lol

some things I realised on my VG rewatch:

• an album or single of curt's gimme danger show as arthur buys the ballad of maxwell demon. this made me realise the whole jack and curt berlin record already happened while arthur still lives at home

• the cigarette hanging in the drummer's mouth while brian performs 2B. made me chuckle

• arthur's boss/lookalike is in the crowd witnessing brian's management takeover??

• curt bowing to the crowd before heading off after his guest guitar solo at brian's concert (which was hard to capture bc it's kinda out of shot but I thought it was a fun detail)

#This movie is chock full of details! #The first one doesn't fully make sense to me bc when Arthur reads that newspaper it seems to be totally unaware of Brian's 'death' #Like Brian is still at the top of his game #So I wouldn't think Curt's Berlin album is even being made yet #I just imagine that it's a Curt Wild single that he made while with Brian or something #Also yeah Lou being one of the suits and Arthur's boss - what does it mean??? #Does it represent him being easily swayed to the next big thing? Loving Jerry Devine over Cecil #And doing what Tommy Stone says over following the Brian story? #Also Lou was supposed to have two different colored eyes I think? Can't remember #Velvet Goldmine
