For those who would criticize the parties involved for possibly intending to profit from his death, let us not forget that the DA himself, Vincent Bugliosi, made mega-millions from his book "Helter Skelter" which exploited the horrific deaths of seven Tate-Labianca victims and made Manson a bogeyman in the eyes of the public.

This has been around for a while, but I just came across it - again. This, among other things, was also on the now-defunct bewareofbugliosi.com. Good stuff.

Charles Manson dies
I know I'm a little late in posting this, pardon me. Charles Manson died November 19, 2017, at a Kern County Hospital from cardiac arrest due to respiratory failure. He also had colon cancer. RIP, Charles. You're finally free. http://time.com/5061789/charles-manson-cause-of-death/

Website
The website at BewareOfBugliosi has been taken down. Apparently it's been gone for quite some time now. It's a shame because it had really good information about how Bugliosi was a proven liar and fraud, not just about Manson, but about everything. Bugliosi definitely had some issues and I tend to think he projected much of himself and his own sexist and racist and classist views on Manson.

I’m nobody. I’m a tramp, a bum, a hobo. I’m a boxcar and a jug of wine, and a straight razor if you get too close to me.
