Cynder, from 2007

Funny story about this one: 2007 was probably one of the first years I remember having an impactful "hard time" getting through life (and maybe that had something to do with this) but I briefly "forgot" how to draw dragons at some point.

I was drawing dragons nonstop at this age and one day just could not draw one in a way that felt natural. Like this stuff came so effortlessly to me because I did it all the time and then suddenly I just... couldn't?? It's a hard feeling to describe, but nothing would come out right, not even with conscious effort.

This was the most obvious in the shape of the head and I still have a few pictures I finished before I got over it (just as suddenly as it started, as it were).

Anyway pretty sure this was one of the first things that came out when I "remembered" again lol
