I have a lot of pet peeves but I think the biggest one is when people say things like âoh itâs such a small town, only 35,000 peopleâ like bitch my town has 200 people, you need to pick a new adjectiveÂ

I donât know what it is about Star Wars but even if itâs not your biggest fandom, it still has the funniest memes by a long shot I mean âlook at all the fucks i give anakinâ and âyour poncho is a piece of junkâ and anakin hates sand itâs all just 1000% pure class

i love experiencing how my classmates work to avoid misgendering me. for instance, today one classmate greeted the rest of our small group:
âAll right ladies and gentlemen â and Averyâ
another time a classmate went:
âPardon me, maâam â uh, sir, uhâŠ.esteemed oneâ
and, my absolute fave:
âHey ladies! â and gentleThemâ
i love these moments both because theyâre humorous and because they show how hard these folks are trying! itâs not about getting it right every time at first, but consistently correcting yourself!

Brad Bird told The McKinsey Quarterly in 2008, âThe Incredibles was everything that computer-generated animation had trouble doing. It had human characters. It had hair. It had fire. It had a massive number of sets. The technical team took one look and thought, âThis will take ten years and cost $500 million. How are we possibly going to do this?â
âSo I said, âGive us the black sheep. I want artists who are frustrated. I want ones who have another way of doing things that nobodyâs listening to. Give us all the guys who are probably headed out the doorâ. A lot of them were malcontents because they saw different ways of doing things, but there was little opportunity to try them, since the established way was working very, very well.
âWe gave the black sheep a chance to prove their theories, and we changed the way a number of things are done here (at Pixar). For less money per minute than was spent on the previous film, Finding Nemo, we did a movie that had three times the number of sets and had everything that was hard to do. All this because the heads of Pixar gave us leave to try crazy ideas. [x]
