All the reports coming from Rafah from the early hours of April 29 are literally identical: "Israel targeted the house of [family name]"
The same title, over and over again.
All within a couple of hours last night, three family homes in Rafah have been struck, killing at least 20, the majority of whom are women and children.
We now know about Project Lavender and we know about Israel's constant surveillance of Gaza so when I tell you that Israel had targeted civilian homes last night in Rafah, you know that there is absolutely no room for questioning Israel's intent here and always.

with bonus internet points to anyone who actually writes a list:
the definition of A Character is overall yours to determine, within the following parameters:
if a Person is Symbolically Nameless, they must have a known moniker to be considered A Character.
for the purposes of this list, A Concept is not A Character unless this is specifically indicated in the text.
misspellings are accepted and perhaps inevitable.

You do not have to stay up and wait. The end of the world is not coming. You do not have to act as a witness. Nothing bad will happen if you close your eyes. Go to sleep. The man called Jesus is dead. The terror of that night was over a long time ago. Humans hurt each other all the time. It doesn't mean anything. There is nothing you can do about it right now. It's late. The world will still be there in the morning.
Go to sleep.

I'm gonna say it.
It's unhinged to assume that someone's taste in fiction equates to what they believe is moral or good, or is something they want to see or experience in real life.
That is a bonkers assumption to make.
I'm tired of humoring people with long arguments about it when the simple fact is it is a totally fucking absurd reach to accuse someone who enjoys something in fiction of being in favor of it in real life.
I'm tired of pretending like this is a legitimate position to hold-- that they should be afraid of fiction's dire influence on a reader's moral decay or that it's a sign of what the author secretly wants for realsies in real life.

One of the wildest things about end times anxiety/sadness at least in my experience was that you weren't allowed to express it in any significant way. Expressing any type of dissatisfaction with the end times coming soon (because everyone would take any natural disaster or war or bad thing in the world as indication that the end times are upon us) was met with you being shamed for not trusting god, not trusting his timing, for being haughty and prideful thinking you could possibly know the day and hour when not even the angels know, and don't you want jesus to come back? It's a good hopeful thing and your anxiety and fear and sadness and any other negative feelings are signs you don't love and trust the lord enough. It is completely twisted to not only tell children the world is ending soon, but to also force them to look forward to it.

when you're sick you're either a prince moder or a dog moder. prince moding is when you demand many little treats, drinks etc. i personally prefer to drag myself off to a secluded corner to either die or recover, aka dog moding

i think one of the funniest and most annoying things i was taught as a christian is that we have free will wow so cool! but also predestination is a thing and basically that means that before you’re born god decides whether you’ll come to him or not. so you should try to convert as many people as possible but also god already knows which’ll get into heaven. and you have the freedom to choose to follow him except he’s already decided where you’re going after you die.
the predestination shit basically strips you bare of any agency in your own life, it’s confusing and contradictory and probably my least favorite part of the belief system i grew up in because of how fucking stupid it is.
