Best Gaming Phones
In spite of the fact that the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra does not appear to be a gaming phone - in fact, it is relatively light in comparison to other gaming phones such as the ROG Phone 5 at only 8mm thick and 188g - the slimline flagship is hiding some surprising features. Based on Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon 888 processor, it has either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, making it capable of competing with specialist gaming phones such as the Red Magic 6 in our benchmarks. There's also a 6.67-inch AMOLED display available, which boasts a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sample rate, resulting in a snappy gaming experience. Aside from its gaming abilities, it boasts all of the bells and whistles you'd expect, like 65W fast charging and a quad-camera array made of three 64Mp cameras and a telescopic lens, and it does so at a far lower price than comparable flagships from Samsung and OnePlus, respectively. What's not to enjoy about this?
