Found the raw on Twitter and discovered something interesting. Translating mangas are sometimes difficult because of furigana (the little words next to a kanji). While it is used to tell you how a kanji is read, sometimes a different reading is placed there.

Example being アポカリプス (apokaripusu) written above the Japanese word for apocalypse itself 黙示録 (mokushiroku), telling you to read it as the former rather than the latter.

So in this one, the kanji itself is 男, which means man, which should've been read as おとこ (otoko) but ひと (hito), which means person, is used instead.

It was written in a way so that we'll know that Nico is not only the first man Ichico ever loved but also the first person.
