uhhhh list of random stuff for My Circus My Turtles because I have realized that since I'm not telling it in chronological order, there's not really a reason for me to not share things lol

Demophon and Lua are the biggest theater kids in the family, and have been in basically every school production for years

Demophon tends to only be *in* the show if it's a musical, otherwise he prefers to be on the tech team or help with set design

Also he, Lua, and Miltiades want to be the Heathers so bad they want to be the intimidating popular kids that everyone looks up to and/or fears

the other one of them that's even slightly close to popular is Millie tho. His brothers are on more on the side of 'infamous'

Demo tried to blow up the school once. He was having a rough week okay

He did not succeed but Draxum did very much ground him over it

Millie developed a hypersensitivity to mystics at an early age (given that he lives in a city where just about everyone and everything is mystic, this is very overwhelming/painful for him)

he uses what are basically mystic blockers to cope with this so he can do stuff like go to school

Also he still likes to cook in this au but man shopping for ingredients is draining when bascially all yokai groceries stores sell mystic items/foods

Lua gets in so many fights at school its not even funny

like it used to be funny and the family would joke about it but that was before he threw another kid out a window and the kid got hospitalized

Ragnarok is the chillest of his brothers by far - by chillest I mean he has horrible anxiety about hurting other people so he gets up to less shenanigans than his brothers do

(a large part of this stems from the fact that he accidentally injured Draxum during a sparring session once when he was fairly young, and at the time for him that meant that if he could hurt his dad on accident, he could hurt anyone on accident)

Also Ragnarok wears glasses in this au (they have red frames)

Mikey:

facial expression example: winky wink

[difficulty: easy] although his cheek can be a bit difficult to get right.

Leo:

facial expression example: smile :)

[difficulty: medium] His weirdly-shaped head can be challenging, but once you know where to put his corners and how long the lines should be, you’re good to go! Also I forgot his red markings LOL

Donnie:

facial expression example: disinterest

[difficulty: medium] But fun to draw! He’s got tons of accessories compared to his brothers.

Raph:

facial expression example: angy >:C

[difficulty: easy] although his body would be a medium difficulty for me personally. His head shape is a bit simillar to Leo, just stretched out in a way. Sometimes his head doesn’t have a corner at all, and more like Donnie’s.

I don’t have the energy to draw their bodies for now, but I can give you some useful references! (note: only the first drawing is made by me, everything else I found through google)

I really enjoy the moment where Mikey lists the rules of the family snowball fight during the episode 'Snow Day' because it slightly shows bits of Leo, Raph's & April's characters when we watch their reactions to Mikey listing the rules to them.

Leo is taking notes on the rules; he's carefully making sure he knows what is & isn't allowed most likely so he can either manoeuvre around the rules or know how to bend them later on. Raph is jumping up & down in excitement, showing that he wants to get into the action of the snowball fight & April looks amused with April possibly remembering the incidents that lead to most of those rules being made in the first place.
