Hello gorgeous 😍 . Are you a bride that has peonies saved on your Pinterest board? Disappointed to hear they aren’t available in Costa Rica? We frequently receive inspiration photos from brides that contain peonies and ladies, I totally get it, I love those fluffy blooms as much as you. I even grow them in my garden in the States! No luck when trying to grow them in Costa Rica though, womp womp. . But there are so many beautiful options in Costa Rica that I hardly miss them. Like Mickie’s bouquet, with such beautiful composition, colors and texture! We have so many opportunities to create bouquets that are truly works of art. So I recommend not being set on a particular flower but instead focus on the vibe and embracing this beautiful tropical country you are experiencing - THAT’S what will result in something truly unique! . A little Sunday introduction for you today. We have always been a bit busy to really show up here on Instagram but we’ve decided we really want to connect more and share about our team, what we do, things we love, places we go... so we’re about to get a bit more personal here :). Recently we had back to back Friday / Saturday weddings and at both events multiple guests came up to ask if Arlene was there, they wanted to thank her for her help, and one even had a thank you gift they wanted to send her. Arlene is our Guest Concierge, dedicated to wedding guests to ensure they have a quick and easy planning process. She is originally from Canada, has lived in several parts of Costa Rica since moving here over 10 years ago, and knows this country inside and out, which enables her to help guests create their own adventures extending beyond the wedding. Guests talking about Arlene at weddings is a regular occurrence, but I guess the events being two days in a row left an impact on me of just how awesome Arlene is. I mean, I already knew that but it was a great reminder that guests think so too! The smiles on their faces (and how couples interrupted each other laughing over retelling those experiences) as they told me what Arlene had suggested and how amazing their experience was... that is exactly our goal here! We know how much of an impact guests travel experience has on a couples enjoyment of their wedding and we believe happy guests = happy couples. That’s why we believe it’s important to focus on both! Sunday morning at my favorite breakfast spot ❤️ you really can’t beat breezy beachfront Sueno Del Mar with sunshine streaming through the trees. We had two weddings in two days (plus two welcome parties and two rehearsals and two Catamaran Cruises) and I couldn’t be happier with the results or prouder of my team. Both couples were over the moon and guests stopped me multiple times to tell me what amazing experiences they’ve had, both at the wedding and in Costa Rica in general. Hearing those words at the wedding is literally our goal: it’s written in our mission statement, and every step we take is aimed towards that result. That’s why we place as much emphasis on the entire experience as we do the wedding. So today I can enjoy breakfast in my favorite spot with a full heart, satisfaction in my team and the vendors we work with in a job well done, gratitude that we get to do this thing we do, and pure happiness for the couples we got to celebrate this weekend ❤️ https://ift.tt/2TVIDo3

I love how the greenery can change the vibe of flowers. These leaves in fresh lime green tones give the centerpiece a tropical feel. Picture this instead with the gray green tones of eucalyptus, and you’d have a different look entirely right? Both very pretty, soft, romantic, and elegant - yet with only a change of greenery each has a different style. Ann was very conscious of that in the design process and she wanted to make sure her soft romantic palette still shouted tropical 🌴🌴🌴 I think Cata and Jaime did a great job making it happen! . Today we said goodbye and celebrated the life of my Grandma Es. Check my stories for a couple photos of her ❤️ * The only child of Irish immigrants, she had 5 children by the time she was 27, and now has 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren (and counting). * I carry her name actually. Her name was Esther Lily because she was born on Easter. My parents intended my middle name to be Mary but she made the nurse add Esther to the birth certificate so Meghan Mary Esther Meehan it was 😂 and that’s a great example of how Es didn’t take no for an answer. She used her stubbornness for more than gaining a namesake, and thousands of basketball-playing kids in her area have her efforts to thank for those leagues. * The viewing last night had a line wrapped the funeral home that didn’t have a break for 2 hours, and then only a couple minutes before a new line had formed. It was heartwarming and inspiring to see so many people touched by my grandmother. * She was the feistiest grandma, never had a license to drive a car, loved scratch offs and basketball, Queen of the Colleen’s, and the most petite giant you’ve ever met. My brother put it best when he said she only stood 5 feet tall yet towered over everyone. * An Irish Blessing, we love & miss you ❤️ May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields.
