adrienette keeping their secret identities from their kids is underrated. not only do i think it's more practical/safe (when i was a kid i told all my friends ALL of my parents' dirty secrets because i was very trusting of my friends and also had no solid concept of consequence) but also i think it's more fun to keep the identity shenanigans going. their kids thinking their parents are lame, meanwhile thinking ladybug and chat noir are sooooo cool.

like dad you're soooo lame, stop wanting to play board games with us while we're trying to watch the newest Ladybug and Chat Noir movie. god mom is always so busy and anxious, she's nothing like carefree confident ladybug. my brother dressed up as chat noir for halloween and for some reason it made my dad cry. i told my parents i thought Chat Noir and Rena Rouge had the most chemistry in the movies and they stared blankly at me. i snuck out at night to go to a friend's place and ladybug intercepted me on the street and was super freaked out about it for some reason. some kids at school found out i'm hawkmoth's grandkid and are being mean to me and told me ladybug and chat noir would hate me and it made me cry. mom says ladybug and chat noir LOVE ME SO MUCH but that seems like a stretch?? the other night i heard SOMETHING eating VORACIOUSLY in our cheese cabinet and when i ran to my parents' room to tell them about it they AVIDLY denied it and THEN claimed it was a mouse but how the fuck did a mouse get up there??? why are they so shifty???? and WHO keeps eating my COOKIES

#the scale of failure is a direct opposite correlation to the amount of drama/action in said episode #animan? they just slightly miss and sigh/laugh #mr. pigeon? they whiff completely. chat noir stumbles. in trying to steady himself and not fall over he stirs up some feathers #and ends up in a sneezing fit

#given it's referred to as the 'peacock' miraculous and not the 'peafowl' or 'peahen' miraculous i mostly default to he/him #but also they/them sometimes. never she/her. i think most kwami would be fine with any pronouns though #kwami existed before gender. at least they probably all did. plagg and tikki for sure. #actually thinking about it there's probably a kwami *of* gender. maybe not bound to a miraculous #but definitely out there somewhere #maybe their power is 'trans your gender' #a tag i used here before is relevant again so im gonna put it here #remember kids: trans your gender

I have a feeling/theory that him ‘bullying’ Adrien is a tactic to get Adrien to stand up for himself more. So it’s not out-of-nowhere spontaneously being mean for no reason, he’s doing it to try to help Adrien, but also he isn’t good at communicating that or really planning it out.

can't stop thinking about how Félix was seen as "a cold, calculating, intelligent character. yes, he made some weird decisions (how did shoving cheese under adrien's pillow fit into his plan? why did he bully adrien's friends when all he was there to do was shake gabriel's hand? etc) but, ignoring that, he definitely carefully considers all his actions" and then Emotion dropped on us "uh yeah so Félix is actually deeply emotionally unstable" which is both counter to how everyone saw him and actually perfectly explains his character in ways the fanon version of him couldn't

#theres motivation behind all his actions but the actual big-picture planning... isnt there. he's kind of short-sighted or has tunnel vision #regarding anything outside of the immediate affect of his actions. how are four kids going to live comfortable lives completely alone? #as far as he cares he could probably populate the world with sentibeings able to meet any of their needs. disregarding the importance of a #social circle since obviously his is... lacking. #ml spoilers #ml s5 spoilers #emotion spoilers
