For those of you who think pastors don't work much: I just finished my 3rd 12 hour day in a row with a nearly 3 hour meeting. My day looked like multiple funeral care calls and meetings, pastoral care calls, reports, meetings, book study, worship planning, HR, collating meeting materials, and a bagel for snack. I *know* I am not unique. Your pastors love what we do. And we work hard because we love you, not the work. So tomorrow, check in on them/her/him. Let them know you appreciate them. And to my people.... thank you. I love you. I feel so deeply fulfilled here with you. Our ministry journey is amazing already. Every minute and meeting is worth this.
