Kid Friendly

We go to church downtown at Ecclesia, the kids love the kiddos space. It's very artsy here, open and friendly. I would like to be more involved than I'am but it's hard to balance it all. I really think I'll be attending a small group or woman's group soon. Besides the point we had a great day at church and they had free Menchies outside for the kids before their Men's sports gathering.  

It was such a beautiful day so after church we decided to grab some food downtown,  I love the Mid Main section of Midtown where Natachee's calls it's self home. They have a fantastic open deck and space for kiddos to play. They serve the kid's food in vintage lunch boxes and they have a space for story time inside.

Just throw it on

I'm constantly running around from one thing to the next and I have never been the type to really think hard about what goes together. If I'm in the mood for something in particular and it's comfortable I'll throw it on. I love to look effortlessly chic. Still loving this oxblood color pants from Gap for fall, mix it with this sheer long sleeve floral top from Zara, crazy over this Insect necklace and these earrings. Mix prints with this polished bag from Banana Republic and finish off the look with ankle heeled almond toe boots.

Beauty Finds and Friends

I walked into Nordstroms in the Galleria yesterday to pick up Nars Train Bleu { Im Obsessed, it's a great fall color without being gothic.} I tried on this concealer. Went home and then took the kids to a bbq restaurant with the rest of their school. They had a wonderful time seeing their friends but the place was packed and hot! When I got home the left side of my face that I tried the concealer on was still PERFECT while the other side smudged and you could see the dark circles under my eyes. It is really pricey I mean way too much for me to ever buy.. But I may justify it for christmas.. It's pretty amazing still thinking about it. The lady in the makeup area told me that it's the same concealer Kim K wears. 

Train Bleu Lipstick by Nars 

Kids bbq dinner fundraiser. I don't know if it is a twin thing but they instantly connected with the other set of twins in their class. They are all so sweet. I love their bond together. #thankful

Hidden Gems

We can't wait for the halloween fall festival in Tomball we love all the decor that is out right now!

The weather is pretty incredible in Houston this week. So enjoy it with a movie in the park in this sweet town this Saturday evening. I think they are playing Hocus Pocus!

This is a cool wine bar in the middle of Tomball, in the middle between Snookies and Nonnie's. Mila kept wanting me to take her photo places. I love her.

FH Kick off Party

Fashion Week in Houston kicked off last Thursday night at Hotel Zaza. I ran by for a bit to see everyone before I was off to see Naked and Famous at HOB. I can't wait for FH next month! To see some of the line up and find tickets look here

Tidbits and mini adventures in the Galleria

Tidbits celebrated 6 years last night at Gigi's Asian Bistro. I don't know what it is with this place and half naked entertainment whenever a bash is thrown there. It's one thing if the models are in their 20's but once you start getting up there in age it's just odd to me, isn't that awkward.. Save it for the night, for strip clubs and gay bars. On another note the event was still very fun because Candace came with and she is happy energy wherever we go! Ran into a friend or two there and tagged to the Gap reopening collab with Papercity magazine and The Gentlemen's Hall. Got to meet Mrs Kate from Papercity, surprised it's taken this long! Hope to go to many more Papercity events in the future sign up for Tidbits newsletter and Papercity.

Houston Magazine

Honored to be featured as an influencer of Houston in the latest issue of Houston Magazine. They don't ever really cover bloggers so thank you for including me. It has taken me quit some time to build up my network of friends and clients. I'm really appreciative of being in a place where I can really follow my dreams and am inspired daily by people in Houston. Houston is really growing in every industry, we are not just an oil, gas and real estate state. We have some pretty incredible businesses and creatives here and I'm so excited to be in the middle of it all.

Top Bloggers in Houston

My gals and I are starting to really make a name and an impact on Houston for ourselves. Each one of them have specific styles and wonderful personalities. They have all had some major accomplishment whether inside Houston or nationally. I'm very proud to have gf's like this that I surround myself with constantly. 

Mandy Kao birthday was a few weekends ago and to celebrate she hosted a charitable birthday bash at Houston based designer David Peck's studio. She asked the Top Houston Bloggers to model for a cause. Here are some long over due pictures and an article from Culturemap.

Culturemap is one of my favorite bits of news to read when I wake up in the morning. So when I was invited to be one of the featured Top Bloggers at their next mixer I was really honored.  Of course there are a ton of bloggers in Houston but it isn't over saturated like in other major cities and there is really a exclusive small group of us that are quality based and have bonded over time. I'm so proud of the group of other bloggers that I'm surrounded with and all of their accomplishments.
