Is @ Haneenatya a scam blog? They didn't send me an ask like most do and instead followed me, but idk the fact they aren't that old of a blog, didn't answer me on their blog when I asked about something that confused me about their gofundme description, but instead sent me an ask? I geuss that could be just being new to the platform, but idk it feels odd, feels like they didnt want the question on their blog for some reason, what do you think?

As I’ve stated before, some Palestenians are new to tumblr and don’t quite know how to work it. And as I also state, not every one of them asking for mutual aid is a scammer. I also would like to point out that that the blog doesn’t show the common signs I explain in my posts and links to their own fundraiser which isn’t something scammers would generally do, as the scammers I show would link to a PayPal account and not the fundraiser they stole from. They likely don’t know how to use tumblr properly, and figured sending an ask would work just as fine. As long as they gave you what you were asking about, there’s nothing on the account that would raise my suspicions.

Though I would suggest someone please tell newcomers to not spam tag their posts with tags unrelated to the content otherwise not directed toward the one I’m being asked about. Just in general.

Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1

The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.

So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.

So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.

Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.

And the probe is working again.

From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.

if you knock away a disabled person's crutches. you are taking part of their autonomy.

if you grab a disabled person's cane. you are taking part of their autonomy.

if you move a disabled person's rollator/walker. you are taking part of their autonomy. I don't think people understand that our mobility aids are an extension of our bodies. You wouldn't kick an abled person in the shins or grab their arms and twist them just to see how they would react, or see if they'd be able to get around and function. You treat us like a joke. Our mobility aids aren't toys that you can play with and fidget with and god forbid potentially break. They're part of us. You have no right to touch them. If you take my fucking cane away from me, I can't walk properly.

If you touch my fucking mobility aid, you take away part of my autonomy.
