Kaito x f!reader - Relationship Headcanons

this boi is ADORABLE. He can get excited about absolutely everything, and loves to chatter on and on about whatever’s on his mind- which can and will be a lot! He’s very easily distracted, so you’ll start out talking about cloud shapes, and end up discussing why grandmothers never tell anyone their family recipes.

He loves to take you cloud watching! It’s one of his favorite things to do alone, but when you came along, it seemed like everything up there was so much more colorful. He can spend hours watching planes drift by, and pointing out what he thinks looks like a rabbit, or a side-profile with a pipe, or a … gun (which looked much more like a cactus to you.)

He loves showing both physical and verbal affection, showering you with kisses and hugs, all of that. He just wants to make you feel as loved as he can. Emotions are a bit of a struggle for Kaito because he’s a very positive, optimistic person, and has trouble figuring out what you need when you’re sad.

He might accidentally make it worse by trying to cheer you back up, but as soon as you tell him what would help you he springs into action, apologizing profusely.

Kaito constantly forgets things, be it the day of the week, something you two had planned, or even a holiday. (You never let him live it down after he appeared to literally have forgotten that Halloween was a thing one day.)

But this makes him super-spontaneous, which is pretty nice! He’ll show up at your place with a new kite, totally unplanned, and pull you away from whatever you’re doing to go to the park with a picnic and fly a kite.

“Kaito, aren’t we a little too ol-“ “NO ONE’S TOO OLD FOR KITES!”

There’s been a few attempts between you two to make your own ice cream. It has always turned out disastrous, with the kitchen coated in cream and chocolate and at least one glass object shattered. Apparently put together, the two of you are /notoriously/ clumsy.

But it all turned out okay when Kaito rescued you from the messy kitchen and took you out to get ice cream that wasn’t ruined. It was pretty nice, sitting on the curb with ice cream dripping down your hands and laughing together until your sides hurt.

Karaoke with him is always fun, mostly because he’ll insist on getting the tune as absolutely, utterly wrong as possible- and the strangest thing is that it still sounds good!

He once sung you a slow, romantic song that was so unexpected that you turned scarlet. Of course he thought this was hilarious, but more sweet than anything. So of course he makes plans to do much more of this in the future…

Vocaloid Self Insert: Coming Into Your World..

» Imagine your f/o finally figuring out how to enter your world. The huge smile on their face as you open your arms to embrace them. The way their arms wrap around your waist, squeezing you tight, finally being able to hold you..

» Imagine instead of waking up to your regular alarm, your f/o wakes you up every morning instead. They beautifully sing you your favorite song. If that doesn't work, they would gently shake you awake, and you would slowly open your eyes to see a soft smile looking back at you.

» Where would you take your Vocaloid out first? A relaxing walk in the park? Imagine seeing their excitement, watching and feeding the birds, observing all the flowers, finding a bench and sitting there with you, watching the lake and it's fish swimming happily.

» If you're a student, imagine them being enrolled into your school, and you conveniently share a schedule. Showing them your daily routine, and they suddenly understand why you aren't at your computer as often anymore.. Laughing with them at lunch, studying together after school, and squeezing in some singing practice in between.

» If you like physical affection.. imagine them finally being able to show you their love for you through touch. They would take every opportunity to brush against you, or rest their hand in yours. Cupping your face with their palms, admiring how gorgeous you are. Cuddling up with you at night. They would be sure to tightly hold onto you..

» How would they react to seeing merch of themselves? (Ex. Miku finding a Miku plush.) Do you own any merch of them? Imagine them getting all flustered, seeing your huge collection of items related to them~ Or imagine taking them to an arcade where they win a prize of themselves! The happiness on their face, hugging a plush tightly that resembles them.

» What if you took them to your favorite restaurant? Due to them being a Vocaloid, aka software, they didn't need to eat. But since they're in the real world, they can eat now! What type of food would you suggest them to try? Would they actually end up trying it? Or would they choose the opposite? Bonus points if they end up having most of your food, because they didn't like theirs. Even better if you spoon feed each other dessert!

» Imagine walking in on them learning your favorite song.. while they sound amazing, they'd sound even better with your guidence. You sing along with them for hours, and eventually get so off track, you end up learning a totally different song.

Ok so this man has a 50/50 chance of being all smooth and cool or being a massive dork

He’ll try to flirt with you and it will either be super effective or make absolutely no sense at all lmao

this is him sometimes ngl

he is a Proper Samurai™️ and RESPECTS WOMEN and no one can tell me differently >:( so expect a lot of holding doors for you and kissing your knuckles politely

(although he is definitely a bit of a perv when you two get closer dbdbgv)

He’s super tall, and loves to have you sit on his lap and rest his chin on the top of your head and sing softly to u like that

If you have long hair expect him to braid it and play with it a lot. Of course, he lets you do the same with his if you promise not to mess it up.

this guy is Strong. He can bridal-carry you easily, and loves to tease you when you get all flustered- and he will make you very flustered I guarantee it

If you have an interest in martial arts, kendo or fencing, he’d love to spar with you! Although he would be a little overprotective about it- you’re too beautiful/handsome to get hurt after all!

Adding on to this, expect some smug teasing if you lose a sparring match.

The overprotectiveness is sort of a constant thing around him, if you get sick or injured he’ll fuss over you a ton, scold you a little for not being careful yea but yes lots of fussing/spoiling/all that stuff
