I like that Claude realizes and speaks up about Edelgard allying herself temporarily with those who slither in the dark and how they both tried to use each other. Ultimately those who slither in the dark got the war they wanted while the blame fell onto Edelgard as she initiated it, and while she felt it was her only option (and it was for the goals she had in mind) at the same time she played into the hands of those who slither in the dark.

I don’t see much spoken about them beyond they’re bad, they conducted the experiments on Edelgard and Lysithea and wanted Flayn’s blood, but they had an entire scheme planned out.

Rhea is totally abusive imo. She's like the best person in the world if you do what she tells you to. Go against her once (CF route) and BAM she calls you a failure and all kinds of messed up stuff. It's like power got to her head to alarming levels. People that say Edelgard is a dictator are totally going with Rhea's manipulation and that says a lot about her character.

The turn around in her personality and the way she treats Byleth as soon as you go against her was wild and made me raise an eyebrow at her. It made me more glad to “betray” her. I’m putting that in quotes because Byleth doesn’t owe her anything nor promised her anything either. Sure, Rhea is the reason Byleth is alive up until the crest stone is destroyed and their heart starts beating anyway (CF), but that doesn’t entitle Rhea to use Byleth as she wishes. And the way Catherine and Cyril in particular are so devoted to her was kind of yikes to me and made me question and think more about why they adored her.

Yeah, Edelgard did questionable and not-so-good things, but Rhea’s not innocent either. But Rhea fans tend to be pretty quiet from what I’ve seen because they know she’s done terrible things and is shady and manipulative and just not a good person (unless you go her route and more so if you S-support her, then you can better see how her opinion and attitude begins to change). Edelgard haters, however, are another story. Some do acknowledge Rhea’s also bad, or so I’m guessing at least one of them does, and they’re at least not oblivious to that and don’t blindly hate her. Not sure if “blindly” is the right term to go with here, but the ones who are passionate about their hate for her tend to not see much wrong with Rhea from my experience.

and towards the bottom you see some edgy vampire AU shit my partner Jude’s been working on a private fic and it’s so fucking good. I desire to level up with efficiency and energy so we can turn it into comics tbh, cause damn want this story shared!

I’ve been pretty fucking depressed, but also starting to I guess mature in being able to handle it better and not just absolutely break apart and spiral so badly, now I just kinda uh..listlessly hang on until I have the energy to crawl forward LOL depression adventures wow
