"You've learnt from your mistakes, thats the best thing..." Gaea nodded calmly, looking around the room "And you've made a wonderful new life here" she laughed as she looked back over at Eos 

"She is a wonderful girl," Eos nodded. "I love Astraea so dearly. To hear her say those things. It was like a knife…" she shook her head. "But maybe in time things will heal. And hopefully I won’t make the same mistakes with Elaina."

Gaea winced as she listened to Eos; slowly taking a sip from one of the glasses placed on the table, She looked down at the floor and bit her lip. she took a few moments of silence, Thinking deeply before looking back up warmly into Eos's eyes. "I am sorry she told you that Eos." she spoke quietly but clearly "I have met Astraea few times, but I must tell you that what i know of her is that... she is simply a treasure. Although she perhaps has not fully understood the reasons behind your leaving, it is not in her soul to hate you...i believe one day she will understand." Gaea nodded slowly at her own words whilst placing the glass down on the surface "You're daughter Elaina will be blessed to have you as a mother."

"She told me so," Eos sighed. "She told me she felt abandoned and unloved. I tried so hard. I waited until she was a grown woman to leave home. She and Astraeus deserved so much better than me. But Astraea thought I left because I didn’t love her."

Feeling the radiating anger, Gaea sighed; although she'd never had the pleasure of meeting this woman in person before, she knew exactly who she was. "Calm yourself, Lilith... we don't want any trouble, do we?" 

"I am not quite used to anyone standing in my way, you see," she snapped. "And you watch your tongue, lady. You have no idea what are you dealing with." Her anger was growing fast, as she was sure that she was talking to only a human being. She was in a mood when she was ready to kill without a hesitation.

"what makes you think you did so badly with Astraea?" she narrowed her eyebrows looking directly into Eos's eyes with concern.

"Honestly I’m terrified of having a daughter," she admitted readily. "But I’ve wanted to have a child with Helios since I was a young woman. I’m hoping I do better with Elaina than I did with my daughter Astraea."

Gaea bit her lip as she watched Eos's face brighten at the thought of her children. "I bet you can't wait to have a little girl" he chuckled "A mother daughter relationship is one to be cherished.. You'll be incredibly close to her, I can feel it." 

"I’m having twins," she replied. "A boy and a girl. Erastus and Elaina," she rubbed her stomach with a smile. "They’re feisty little things. Always kicking. Erastus is Ares’ son, like my Ari. And then Elaina is Helios’ daughter. We’re very excited," she blushed a little. "She’s our first baby together."

Gaea nodded and grinned amply up at Eos "Of course, You know I'll love him!" she chuckled simply before picking at the remains of the cookie, eating crumbs slowly. "Its sounds to me as though he has inherited a lot from you " the smile on her face warmed as the memories of the young Eos flooded through her mind; she recalled the passionate, beautiful child who would spend hours laughing and playing in her gardens. "And...do you know the gender of this little one?" she questioned simply, raising an eyebrow.

"Thank you," she beamed with pride. "I do my best with the gardening. Helios built the house himself and pretty much all the furnishings inside." The garden was something Eos greatly enjoyed but she thought it paled in comparison to the loveliness of the house itself. "You’ll have to pardon the toys scattered about," she said as she guided her grandmother inside. "I have a very vivacious toddler and Hemera and her four children are staying with us. So the little ones pretty much rule the roost." They were quickly in the kitchen though the toy strewn living room could still be seen. Eos motioned for her grandmother to have a seat at the counter while she got out a pitcher of lemonade and poured two glasses, then pulld out a platter of assorted homemade cookies. "We have a full house and it’ll be getting fuller before long," she chuckled.

Gaea gracefully sat down, leaning an elbow against the counter. She grinned as her gaze found the delicious looking cookies being offered, fingers hovering for a while over the plate before she picked one up and smelt it. "Remind me to visit more often" she smiled up at Eos before taking a bite. "You have been busy haven't you!" she mused as she scanned the room, her eyes noticing the childrens aspects of the home, Gaea bit her lip, imagining the laughter which would probably fill the whole house."I feel quite terrible that I haven't met them all yet, its not like I have an excuse either...they must have no idea who I am.." her eyebrows narrowed as she took another bite, her eyes meeting Eos's "why on earth is Hemera staying here?!"
