The universe is a cosmic joke. It plays games with you.

It wants you to become attached to things.

You cannot possibly find yourself when you are engrossed in the world.

So you do not have to keep thinking about your affairs

and your body and the world most of the time.

You must begin to understand that you are the only one who can

dissolve the maya and awaken to the truth of your being.

You can tell where you're at by what you do all day long.

Just think about today, since you woke up this morning.

How often did you think about your higher Self.

How often did you practice self-inquiry.

How often did you surrender completely.

Not too much, you identified yourself with the worldly situation.

You identified with maya.

With things, with persons, with places and then you tell me

I want to awaken. I want to become self-realized.

Of course the truth is that you're already self-realized, you know that,

but those are just words.

We all spend a major part of our lives in search for love. If you’re lucky enough you might find it and if you’re super blessed then you will come to understand loves purpose. When we’re young and/or naive we all long for that perfect partner to come along and complement our current frame of mind. You might find that extra special and rare individual but you soon come to discover that not all of your unrealistic needs can be fulfilled. I’ve come to know many that float around from one relationship to another, sometimes even endlessly because of their insatiable fantasies and desires. But where does the search end? True love lies in surrender and acceptance. It’s pure and selfless. If you’re really paying any attention you’ll soon realize that any relationship serves as a mirror to your endless selfish wants and needs. Being in union with another should come from a place unconditionality. No expectations should be held whatsoever when it comes to loving one another. It’s our life’s lesson and it has not been an easy one for me but I am so glad to be learning it from the person who knows best, @chad.wacaster . It’s been the most beautiful experience growing older and evolving with you and I am so grateful that we get to spend our lives together. And thank you for always being so kind and caring and selfless, you’re guidance is eternally appreciated, even if I don’t express it all that often.
