God has brought me a long way and He’s not giving up on me. He’s right here. Right by my side. I may be in the fight of my life. I may be in the fight for other people’s lives. I’m in the fight of faith, and I know it’s not going to be easy. I’m going to cry sometimes, but I will not lose hope. Because of my trust in Jesus, I will not lose heart. I will not faint. My life is built on the rock. My prayers are heard by God, and He will answer me in His perfect timing and in His perfect way. Sometimes it seems like nothing’s happening, but I’m not moved by what I see.

A lot of people all over the world are fighting to trust God, just like me. Many of us rejecting the lies of the enemy. They are fighting with all they’ve got. So am I. They know God is good and He is mighty to save. So do I. They are trusting the only true and living God. So will I.

Dear You,

The world will try a thousand times to make you feel like something is wrong with you. They will say that you are too loving, you’re too forgiving, you’re too nice, that your heart is too big, or that you care too much. Don’t believe the world. Keep being who you are. Keep being the blessing you are. Keep showing the love of Jesus and drawing people to the Lord with the light He has placed within you.

You’ve been set apart for God’s divine purpose. Your life has been changed for a reason only He knows. God truly lives within you, and you can’t do anything to turn that down. Even when you are mistreated, or you make mistakes, don’t let that change you. At your core, you are God’s daughter, His beautiful design, created in Christ Jesus. You are a special gift from God.

I know sometimes you wish you didn’t love as hard as you do. You wish you didn’t have such a great big heart. You wish you didn’t care so much for others, but that’s who you are. The Lord will continue to guide you with His wisdom, but you keep being who He made you to be. This world needs more people like you.

Please, Don’t change.

You are worthy to receive a peaceful and happy life. You are worthy of love in it’s most purest form. You are worthy to receive respect and honor. No more feeling unworthy. No more letting people cause you to feel like you don’t deserve God’s best. The thing is, you won’t receive what you don’t feel you deserve. If you don’t feel you deserve anything good, you will refuse anything good or you might find a way to sabotage anything good He brings into your life. You have to know that you are worthy and so deserving of a blessed life filled with God’s glory and goodness. It’s not because of anything you’ve done or haven’t done that makes you deserving. It’s all because of Jesus

When it comes to love, you want the kind that comes naturally, not love that is forced. Maybe there’s someone in your life that you love a great deal, but they don’t feel the same way you do and it makes you want to change in order to keep them interested.

The thoughts in your mind may say, “I can make them love me. I can change and become whatever they want me to be. I can change careers, change my hair, get plastic surgery, have their child, leave everything I know and change the way I behave. They will love me; I just have to…” You shouldn’t have to change yourself to get love. If God loves you just how you are, anyone He sends your way will also love you just how you are.

At the heart of real love is acceptance. Anything you have to change to get, you will have to constantly change in order to keep. Love is most beautiful when it is unforced and not manipulated. Let love happen by God’s divine orchestration. Whatever He sends your way He will give you the grace and wisdom to handle. You may not be the apple of someone’s eye just yet, but you are surely the apple of God’s eye. You may not have a David Jonathan kind of friendship just yet, but you have one with God. He loves you in every state and in every season. He took off His priestly garments and wrapped you in robes of righteousness. You will never be able to reach the bottom of God’s love for you!

Until someone can love you even remotely close to that kind of love, honey they don’t deserve you.

Love is finding a middle ground. Love is learning. Love is balance and making concessions and trading off and learning to agree, or to agree-to-disagree.

God sees your hurt. He sees past the smile. He sees what that experience did to your heart and mind, but He can’t force you to enter into His presence and receive the deep intensive care that your heart needs. He can’t force you to come in and receive His love that can heal you and make you whole. All He can do is make Himself available to you, and whenever you are ready, He gladly comes in and heals you.

You may wonder why the pastor can’t heal you, why your doctor can’t heal you and why these devotionals hasn’t been able to heal your deep wounds. You may wonder why you feel good for a moment, then the emotional pain returns in full force. It is because only Jesus can heal you to the core of who you are, but it’s only when you come to Him and let Him in that He will intensively work in your heart and mind. Love, don’t go into this new year hurt and broken. Come to Him, and you won’t be disappointed. He will heal your heart completely and make all things new.

And no, she isn't the easiest girl to love. She has this bad habit of overthinking, she tends to overreact more than she should, and she gets a little insecure every once in a while. She'll be needy for your attention, she'll want to literally take up all of your time, and she'll require a lot of reassurance. If anything, she is everything you wouldn't want in a girlfriend. She isn't capable of fully trusting you, she doesn't know when to stop fighting with you even if she's wrong, and she has no problem pushing you away if she feels like you're close to hurt her. Loving her will stress you out, loving her will make you angry, loving her will break your heart at times, loving her will test you, loving her will challenge you, and loving her will change you. It may get so demanding that you'll be tempted to walk away, it may get so hard that you'll think about giving up, and it may get so complicated that you won't want to deal with her anymore. Loving her means you get to see her at her worst and most vulnerable and that is something that you'll have be strong enough to handle because she needs someone who's patient enough to understand why she is who she is today. Its not gonna be an easy relationship with her. But if she is in love with you, then she can promise that you'll be loved with such passion and intensity that you'll forget what life felt like before she came along because she'll always be there to put your heart back together after breaking it. Maybe she's not the best at being loved, but she's pretty amazing at loving.

A girl would forgive you numerous times, she will believe you even if she knows you are lying, she will give her love until there is nothing more to give... Then she will wake up, she will lessen the conversation, she will not care anymore, she will realize that you are not worth the fight, then she will be gone, she will move on, she will be stronger and she will just remember you as the person who hurt her and she will never give another look back...

It's been a month since my O.C surgery. Little did I know it would happen to me. Nothing is in my complete control; questions can remain unanswered, pursuits may end in grand celebration or hope can collapse. But God's wisdom and work in my life are beyond my comprehension. Troubles and tragedies don't mean He is not working in me. God created the universe, restored Job's health and replaced things he lost. Is there anything God cannot do? It's not easy, but each waking moment, I decided to trust God, to be still. The God who worked in Job's life is the same God working in mine. And one day, I will see the broken things restored and the lost things replaced. What a faithful God have I. Give thanks in all circumstances.Lord, Thank you for everything!

To My Future Pharmacist

Thank you for coming into my life. Life can be ugly but you showed me the beauty behind its imperfection. I've realized that, its not love when you've never been through its worst and ugliest. You have to give up a battle everytime but never surrender the war. Ive learned a lot of things from you. And I am still learning. I never believed a man like you would still exist, but here you are. Im so thankful. And in return, Im trying my best to pick up my heart and its pieces to always try and try with you. I would drain out all of my chances for you. Not because its necessary but because you deserve it. You proven to me that you are way better than the men Ive read in books. Thank you for teaching me all these. Loving you was never a boring ride, it is always a beautiful adventure. This is Why I'm Not Leaving because I love you and I meant it when I said it. I’m not leaving because I promised not to leave you finally, I had the right reason to stay and this time, I will make up for the days when I was not there for you. I will make up for the days when you started to give up on everything and for those days when I was not there to encourage you that you can do. I have always believed in you even when you think you are no longer worth it. I’m sorry for those days when I did not have time to ask you if you were alright. I’m sorry if my presence was not enough to make you feel that I do care. I’m now staying and I promise to make it all up to you so I could make up for those days when you felt alone because this time, you are no longer alone in your battles. I’ll fight them with you, no matter how hard it is. I’m sorry if I was not there to tell you that you are more than what you think you are on days when you felt like you are a complete failure because let me tell you this you are not a failure. I have seen light through your darkest days. I have seen immeasurable hope when you felt lost. I have learned to love you when you forgot to love yourself. I have learned to love you despite your deepest flaws. I wish I could make things better for you but I guess that’s too much. I want to make you feel better, to make you feel that you are loved By me and God. I’m staying because I want to be here for you when you start to feel all of these again the giving up, the “I’m a failure”, the “I don’t know what to do with my life anymore”, I’ll be here when these things start to consume you again I’ll be strong for you this time when it happens. I’ll remind you every day that you are not in this alone, that you are amazing and you can do it when you don’t have the motivation to. Please don’t give up on yourself because I did not give up on you I will never give up on you no matter how much you’d want to. If people kept on leaving you before, do remember that this time, there’s one person who will never leave you. I want to be there through your “try agains” and your success. I’ll be here when you finally make it, I promise. I’ll be here when you finally figure things out. I have always been your number one fan I was not just saying it before because you were focused on something else. Now that I finally said it, I hope you will not give up on your dreams anymore. I’ll be here to support you, I got your back I promise. I’ll be strong for you on your weakest days. I’ll be here to make you laugh on days when you barely remember how to smile. I’ll be here for you when you feel like life is challenging you again. I’ll be here to remind you that something inside you is greater than any obstacle. I’m no longer leaving and that’s the best decision I had to make. It was hard but I sacrificed so I can take care of you and your fragile pieces, so I make you feel better and finally make up for those days when I was not there for you. I’m staying because you are worth it. I’m staying so you will never feel alone again. I’m staying because I love you, no matter how messed up you are. Please don’t dwell on the past anymore because it truly hurts me when you talk about it. If only you could see what’s right in front of you now. If only you could be aware that I exist more than this. I hope you don’t waste it. I hope you know how thankful I am for having you. And if you ever doubt yourself, always remember that I love you no matter what. You will always be my perfectly imperfect kind of man. I love you and everything about you, including your flaw. I don't want you be perfect because you are worth the risk even if you are the most flawed human alive. Having you will be more than enough.
