HI SORRY I’m the anon who asked about the anti thing!

I meant like in the context of proshipper vs anti - proshipper being “ppl can write/draw whatever they want, if you don’t like it then don’t interact” and anti being on the side of “fiction affects reality so if you write about or draw things I consider morally reprehensible then it’s okay to harass you”

It comes up a lot with the topic of calling proshippers pedos because they create/interact with content featuring fictional characters that are minors depicted in sexual contexts (my hero academia is a big one, where people who sexualize the characters get called pedos and harassed).

You don’t need to have an opinion about all this- in fact, it’s probably healthier to have a stance in the grey area- but I was asking because I don’t feel comfortable around people who label themselves as antis/are pro-harassment. I wouldn’t consider myself a proshipper, but I’ve been attacked by antis before and now I’m cautious when interacting with new groups.

Sorry for the confusion and for bringing this whole debate to your page! Again, there’s nothing wrong with deciding not to take a side, I just wanted to make sure you weren’t on the extreme end of one of the sides (which it sounds like you probably aren’t).

Ohhh I see. I haven't delved into that discourse mostly because 1) I think its stupid 2) im a teenager and I don't want to be exposed to people who are weird about it.

My stance is basically that in terms of shipping nuance should always be considered and splitting any discussion into Good People vs Bad People is always going to end poorly. I personally find the sexualization of minors to be weird and uncomfortable as hell, but I also know the purpose of the block button and use it how I see fit.

I can't speak for the views of everyone in the server, but I can tell you that the only two rules are don't send pictures of naked people and don't be a dick, so harrassment in any way shape or form would not be tolerated.
