“Why don’t you guess…? I thought you knew so much more than poor foolish me…”

“You are so certain I would place a fool high in my council? That I would give my love and impart unto them my wisdom?” Yes. If it served his higher purpose, yes. 

But Micah was special. His special and most loyal devotee.  And though this boy is dangerous, Archelaus has trained many a rabid dog to know when he is being challenged.

“Someday, you may very well surpass me. It is the natural order of the world for the master to be surpassed by his pupil, in due time...” A hand moves to hold Micah by the chin, tilting his head back -- exposing his throat. “But only if he continues to remain by my side so that he can learn and fulfill the duties he has been so ordered...” Archelaus’ eyes narrow-- “Are you still loyal to me, Micah?” Or would he be the next dog that must be put down?

He comes closer, slowly, his head weighing from left to right, turning and tilting just a bit. Like the head of a snake, shortly before it snaps and sinks its teeth into vulnerable flesh. 

“Do you know the story of the student who surpassed his master…?”

There is a quiet groan of the old, wooden chair from which he sat. Archelaus is leaning forward, intrigued by this creature. Pray, has Micah forgotten what happens when a dog bears its teeth before its master? 

“Tell me your story, Micah. Spare me no detail.”

Madalyn Orson Wren is a Galbadian heiress and debutante. She is the middle child of billionaire philanthropist Tomas Orson Wren Sr and Tabitha Eugenia Astor, the daughter of Willard Astor, a world-renowned painter from the Dollet Dukedom.

Her parents were wed through an arranged marriage, and their first child, Tomas Jr. was born just nine months after. Two years later, Tabitha would give birth to Madalyn and would suffer a series of miscarriages before their youngest daughter Claudia is born. Once they had become of age, both parents saw fit to enroll Tomas and Madalyn into Finishing Schools in the Duchy of Dollet.

Her father’s success in Bio-Junction Technology awarded their children a life of wealth and privilege. Often, the two oldest children would travel abroad for education and would eventually find themselves enrolled in Trabia Garden at the request of their parents. While Tomas showed great promise in following his father’s footsteps in Bio-Junction Engineering, Madalyn would go on to excel in nonprofit management and social sciences.

OOC // I’m sure you’re all wondering how I got here... 

Honestly, though, not really as this has been something of a project of mine -- collecting my little NPC micro muses and OCs and fitting them on a blog for everyone’s viewing and interactive pleasure. Here, you will find that I’ve compiled the antagonists, the morally grey and the private muses of mine. I will likely only be keeping a few open for long-term interaction at a time, but I’m excited to give this a shot and see how well it fares~
