The Dove Returns to the Ark And There Will be Peace
Tumblr media
Despite the routine unmitigated slaughter of millions and the outright collapse of human rights and world powers alike, the region of West Africa has exited this period of intense crisis stronger than before.
The nations of Mali, Niger, Nigeria, and Algeria have suffered the most but their people will return resilient like never before.
Millions will  be eager to return home. The deportations proved to be the undoing for much of the EU. They have sent a smarter, stronger, and invigorated populace to the very place they sought to subdue.
The sense of a new world order has set in. West Africa will now be a shot caller and not just the dumping ground for superpowers’ ambitions.

Things go south in West Africa
Tumblr media
The president of Germany has been bared from returning to his country under threat of arrest by Interpol for financing terrorist organizations. He is believed to be hiding out with the very terrorists he attempted to repurpose $1 billion of state funds meant to go to Capo Verde for relief efforts for. The same warrant also listed Boris Johnson as a person of interest for sending $1 billion to terrorist groups.
Both were captured at a Paris Airport. The French have been trying to appease West African nations after being discovered as the financial backer of terrorists in the region.
Burkina Faso sends thousands to live on Capo Verde.
Canada is now on the slow but steady road to recovery with a time frame of about 5 years for the rebuilding of most major cities to be complete.
Cameroon has lost a chunk of its northern territory after Anglophone rebels pledged allegiance to al-Nidal al-Saalihin. They have announced plans
Nigeria builds new but terribly inefficient army, suffers historically bad losses in their fight to take back the northern half of the country. The efforts were ultimately successful.
Morocco has successfully taken the desert gold, but showed up at the exact same time as the other nations searching for it. This resulted in a massive firefight between Moroccan, UK, Malian, Algerian, and Nigerien forces, hundreds are believed to be dead.
Coastal Africa has seen a surge in rebuilding of infrastructure. The world has applauded the region’s resilience in the face of so much adversity and set backs.
Malian forces have collapsed under the weight of so many nations attempting to destroy them for their alliance with the Islamic State of Africa. Niger has also suffered the loss of their final 10,000 soldiers.
The Islamic State of Africa remains a large, but now diminished power due to its support from Mali, Niger, UK, Germany, among others.
The Free Britney Pipeline suffered a massive attack and was largely destroyed. Culprits have been traced to the government of Burkina Faso.
Unity against Goïta is seen as the only saving grace to unite this hectic and besieged region. Egypt remains in command of the largest standing army. CAN alliance have exhausted their forces entirely, but with most of their objectives complete they now must turn to their domestic situation. Riots and looting continue to lower the standard of living for many in the region.
Ghana is now the most intelligent nation in Africa and the 50th smartest in the world.
Nancy Pelosi maintains that the US will continue their isolationist policy. The American public blames the region for killing their president.

The African World War
Tumblr media
Hurricane Marie has made landfall in West Africa. So far the damage has been staggering. Large chunks of infrastructure are lost overnight and for the next 48 hours human movement is almost impossible, especially through any desert areas.
In hurricane related news, Capo Verde’s foreign ministry is yet to comment on a large network of its spies being captured in Burkina Faso. This is most likely because the the nation’s MFA is believed to be underwater at this time.
US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were killed while flying to Chad and other nations to discuss military aid and the ongoing conflicts. A large flock of birds, misguided by the hurricane were sent flying into the engines of Air Force. There was believed to be over $5 billion in gold reserves onboard the plane. US officials have sworn in Speak Nancy Pelosi. The new leader has ordered a total freeze on all US aid to the region; including military support. The only aid left in the region is the aforementioned gold reserves, now stuck somewhere in the desert. The race is on.
The second in command of terrorist group al-Nidal al-Saalihin was captured in a daring raid last night. He has admitted that the original material backer for the group was the former colonial power France. This was done in tandem with the United States. He stated that this is the real reason why the group defeated the French military and was able to avoid capture for so long. After being kicked out of Mali in 2021 for failing to stop the insurgency there, France felt their influence slipping and new they needed to generate problems for the region. This is why they were able to secure oil rights out of Cameroon and Niger, and Ghana’s loss of resource rights the USA. This is also assumed to be why they pushed the EU to kick out all the  Bloc’s West African residents.
The military alliance between Chad, Algeria, and Nigeria (nicknamed “CAN”)  has invaded rival power Mali, but took such staggering casualties and over extended their forces such that food and ammunition became increasingly impossible to find for their troops. Once these demoralized troops saw the hurricane on the horizon they laid down their arms and mutinied en masse, turning back towards their homes to make sure that their families would be safe in the coming storms. The alliance has been left with virtually soldiers to defend their nations. Britain has started a blockade of the Gulf of Guinea and reportedly fired upon targets, many civilians are reported dead, and support for the war in the UK has plummeted.
Al-Nidal al-Saalihin has declared a new African Islamic State. Due to all the infighting now have the region’s strongest army. Their territory stretches from Northern Benin, Togo, and Nigeria, along with chunks of Chad, Cameroon, and Niger, and most of Burkina Faso. The leader of Mali has declared the dissolution of the nation and formally joined forces with the terrorist group.
In entertainment related news: the majority of Nigeria’s music industry was killed on Friday in a series of deadly suicide bombings against a parade hosted by the government. It’s not exactly known why parades were held in such an unstable region, but the Nigerian people have expressed general hatred for all the wars.
Nigeria has started an operation to liberate their northern half.
Despite all the problems, vaccine distribution has been shockingly successful. Many civilians in the region belief that this is the end of the world and have rushed to find ways to feel secure in their lives.

From Europe with Resentment
Tumblr media
Infamous terrorist organization al-Nidal al-Saalihin (made famous for their attack on West Africa’s largest pipeline) has seen their numbers swell from roughly 1200 to over 25000 in a matter of days. This has largely been contributed to the arrival of deported refugees coming back to West African from the EU. In addition general discontent has become more common with riots springing up in many nations, most notably Mali.
Nigeria has suffered the loss of its northern majority Islamic half to a web of different allied terrorist groups, especially Boko Haram. The catalyst for this uprising was the central Nigerian government giving the green light to a force of Chadian soldiers to move through the region. These combined forces were successful in finally destroying the terrorist war party that committed the previously mentioned pipeline attack.
A surprise attack has been launched into Niger by the forces of Nigeria, Algeria, and Chad. Airstrikes have reportedly taken out the president’s residency, although he was not in the country at the time of the attack. Niger’s armed forces reported repelling an initial attack, but admitted that they would most likely need help if they were to survive the war.
A CIA expert was quoted as saying “this new alliance threatens every single government in the region, without a doubt.’
Meanwhile, a unique and colossal hurricane is making its way down Europe and towards Capo Verde, where it is expected to then make landfall in the heart of West Africa. Many are worried that this will exacerbate the already strenuous refugee issues going on.

Practicality, Racism, Necessity... Or all of the above?
Tumblr media
EU leaders tonight made have made what many see as an unexpected and  heartbreaking decision. With the war in Ukraine heating up thousands have poured into EU nations to escape the violence. The UN has estimated that up to 2 million new refugees could be created by the fighting. As a result many of the EU nations taking in these refugees have forced the body’s hand into passing several controversial laws.
The first law dictates that no refugees originating from a state besides Ukraine will be admitted into the EU, until the conflict has died down. The second law specifically targets West African’s living in the EU. Up to 4.5 million West Africans could find themselves kicked out of the Bloc.
This has been done as an effort to ‘balance the checkbook of European immigration’ as the far right politician Marine Le Pen put it. Many fear for the destabilizing affect this will have on West Africa, especially given the recent outbreak of insurgent violence led by al-Nidal al-Saalihin (Arabic for “righteous struggle”). The group’s international backers have yet to be discovered. Meanwhile large troop movements have been seen taking place by many West African states in an effort to maintain calm in unstable regions.

Blood for Oil: West Africa’s insurgency problem erupts onto the world stage once again
Tumblr media
World markets are on edge tonight, as reports continue to roll in of an ambush on West Africa’s largest oil pipeline. In addition to destroying large sections of the pipeline, leaving it “beyond repair” as one source put it, the local garrison was mostly killed in an intense firefight, which started immediately after the first explosion. While this is not the first such attack in the region, it is far and away the largest and most sophisticated to date. A response from affected parties is yet to be released.
A relatively new Islamist terrorist group, with strong ties to Boko Haram and al-Qaeda, known as al-Nidal al-Saalihin (Arabic for “righteous struggle”) has claimed responsibility. A CIA analyst, who agreed to speak under the condition of anonymity, has said that this newcomer is suspected to have material, financial, and logistical backing from nations. The source also mentioned that there is ‘serious concern’ at the US State Department at the group’s advanced tactics and its unique, and increasingly successful, goal of uniting all of West Africa’s Islamist movements.
Al-Nidal al-Saalihin has claimed, using gruesome but largely unverified video footage, that they were able to easily overrun the Nigerian military, before successfully routing two contingents of Beninese border guards. At 11 PM local time, the French military announced that an elite rapid-response counter terrorism unit had been forced to retreat after engaging in small arms fire with militant’s war party. The spokesperson told reporters that this retreat was due to ‘unprecedented causalities, from such a situation.’ While the militants are celebrating this victory; NGO’s, markets, and the region’s population now turn to their government for reassurance and solutions.
