kencho saikou redemeption arc hcs🤜🤜

Someone at school finally snaps and yells at him for being an elitist asshole. After that, others develop the courage to call him out for his behaviour as well, and soon he finds himself basically alone

For a while he keeps on blaming everyone else for what’s happening to him, because he couldn’t possibly be at fault, right? But at some point, he realizes that it’s completely on him and he needs to change the way he acts

It’s during the process of struggling to see things from others’ point of view that he realizes his father, the man he’s always looked up to and aspired to be like, isn’t such a great role model. And he’s been blaming Megami for the way she was born all this time even though it was Ichirou who decided that she would inherit the company and he would be a “second choice”

It takes forever before he’s a) ready to apologize to Megami and b) has the guts to do so, but he manages it

What he now knows about Ichirou makes Kencho realize that he would be better off living as his own person than just a backup for Megami, and he finally makes the decision to leave

He ends up living with his aunt. She has a place near the coast which is a lot less fancy than Kencho is used to, but he grows used to it
