     fingertips  graze  decrepit  paper,  creeping  down  what  could  be  viewed  as  a  list.  written  names  of  many,  possibly  familiar  &  none  that  rang  any  bells  if  one  were  to  read  said  list.  in  a red ink, which  seemed  to  have  bled  due  to  moisture,  marks  of  ‘x’  were  over  written  names  while  others  had  no  such  markings.  to  know  the  background,  one  would  be  horrified  to  realize  the  truth  backing  mentioned  paper.

     wide,  glowing  azure  orbs  changed  focus  to  the  being  lingering.  scanning  features,  wondering  of  a  match  to  any  listed  names.

     ❛  YOUR  NAME.  tell  me  it,  ❜  he  demanded,  voice  sounding  in  a  gargle.

Jake holding up his cigar with his cybernetic arm lighting the end of it with his human counterpart, a small smirk with a lit cigar in between his lips, Jake looked at the famous D.Va and gave her a brief nod, “A signature would be lovely.” Jake puffing out the cigar smoke away from the woman in front of him. Jake pulled out his backpack, unzipping, then ultimately taking out what looked like pair of gaming headsets. 

“Few of my friends are major fans of yours, I thought I’d get them a nice little souvenir for them. What better way to do it than get their headsets signed by the great D.Va herself.” 

     surely,  hana   would  not  pass  off  judgement  against  the  fact  of  the  man  smoking  &  would  keep  her  opinion  to  herself.  her  attention  distanced  from  the  smoking  when  seeing  the  headset  offered  out  to  be  signed,  blinking  several  times. oh!   delicately,  she  took  the  headset  from  his  hands,  free  hand  digging  into  her  pocket  for  a  marker  to  sign.

     ❛  oh  yeah?  that’s  sweet  of  you.  who  should  i  sign  it  to?  ❜

Homework was the one thing making him crave the end of the year. Papers, reading, deadlines, exams, pressure to apply and be accepted into whatever college had the best volleyball team to join… It’d been much easier in their second year. Third year was their choice, of course. They could have let the younger teammates struggle through the season on their own – but that was something they couldn’t do. It was one of the reasons Daichi was so close with Suga and Asahi; they were always on the same page when it came to the important things. 

At the moment, he’d dropped everything to the table between himself and the setter, elbows over his books and face in his hands to release a frustrated groan. Daichi could swear he had started seeing double at least ten minutes ago, but wasn’t ready to call it quits on trying to finish what needed to be done just yet. Rubbing at his eyes with the heels of his palms, his hands finally dropped to the table; blurry gaze seeking out that familiar, beautiful distraction that was Koushi’s smile – or, whatever was closest to it until things came back into focus. 

“How’s your work coming? I think I’m ready to admit I’m stuck.” A light chuckle drawn from his throat, he pushed his arms above his head and stretched. The arch of his back led to a few gentle pops and a sigh, feeling like his body remembered he belonged in it at long last. “Maybe it’s time for a distraction.” 

     ❛  always  finding  an  excuse  to  not  do  your  work,  hm?  ❜

     sugawara  teased  as  he  attempted  to  get  a  reaction  from  his  fellow  third  year.  homework  was  disliked,  yet  he  knew  it  could  not  be  avoided  in  any  way  possible.  his  mindset  was to  get  the  work  out  of  the  way  &  then  there  would  be  plenty  of  time  for  entertainment  afterwards.  the  problems  in  his  homework  were  not  too  complicated,  for  they  were  topics  easily  remembered  in  class.  finger  delicately  tapped  against  the  book  resting  on  the  table  they  sat  at,  watching  daichi  fidget.  in  contrast  to  daichi,  he  was  happy  to  be  accepted  into  any  college  ━  proving  he  had  the  capability  in  intelligence  &  more.  though,  he  would  like  to  go  to  the  same  place  like  daichi  &  asahi.

     the pencil  he  wrote  with  was  moved,  eraser  between  his  lips  as  attention  returned  downwards  to  his  book.  studying  the  problem,  taking  it  in,  &  internally  solving  it.  not  too  bad,  it  was  just  like  the  given  problems  in  class.  noticing  daichi  stretching,  the  eraser  rested  on  his  lip  as  a  smile  drew  on  his  features  again.

     ❛  i got most of my work done, it’s not too bad.. but, maybe you need some help with yours?  i don’t mind.  ❜

     moving away  from  the  table,  he  stood  from  his  seat  to  walk  over  to  daichi’s  side.  with  the  younger  teammates,  he  assisted  with  their  work  as  well,  so  he  saw  no  issue  with  helping  daichi.

     ❛  you..  really  are  stuck,  aren’t  you,  daichi  -  san?  well,  you’re  not  going  to  take  a  break  until  we  make  more  progress  on  this.  ❜

     words  slow  to  begin  as  reiner  processed  them,  trying  to  correct  the  way  of  saying  what  he  wished  to  say.  he  could  tell  that  his  companion  was  tense,  thoughts  clouding  his  mind  &  eating him up.  his  hand  moved  to  place  a  firm  hold  on  his  best  friend’s  shoulder,  delicately  shaking  it.  he  wanted  to  assure  bertholdt  was  comfortable,  disliking  when  he  was  upset  or  bothered.

With the warmer weather settling in over them, it was only too nice to know that they were leaving training facilities within the school open to them for the summer. He figured there would have been another trip to the pool at some point, as long as they didn’t end up in another race that only a handful of students would have actually gotten into the water for… but they would worry about that after someone put in the paperwork to get it approved. 

As for Izuku, he was just fine with what was being left available without any extra regulations or restrictions on top of it. Even with every sign pointing to the freedom of going home for a while, he was sure his mother would understand if he didn’t spend every day hanging around all summer with nothing to do. All he did at home was train anyway – it wouldn’t have made much of a difference where he did it. 

“Are you going home already, or are you staying a little longer? I was hoping we could, maybe, do some shopping together… If we’re sticking around, we’re going to need a few extra things to get us through it, aren’t we?” 

     with  the  warmer  weather  settling,   tsuyu   found  herself  outside  plenty.  from   soaking   up  the   heat  of  the  sun,  to  spending  time   with   her  classmates.  it  was   the  same  when  she  was  home  with   her   family,  almost  abusing   the   time   of   warmth  to  soak.   a  happy  froggy   family,   just   as   she   described  when   giving  introductions  of  them.  her   thoughts   of   family  ceased  when  hearing  the  familiar  voice  speaking   behind her.

     seeing  deku  approach,  she   perked   up.  she  considered   him   a  decent  companion,  in   which   his   offer   of   going  out  to  shop  was  taken  into   thought.  she   did  need   more  clothing  to   wear  besides   the   few  outfits   she  paired  ━  plus   her   mother   informed   her   she  should   STYLE  up   her   way   &  not   be   plain.  maybe  deku  could be   of  assistance.
