I was wondering where can i read Ribbon magazines Mata Ashita online? There doesn't seem to be any website i can read it with English in it. There only seems to be Spanish or Japanese.
Sorry I don’t know, I really don’t pay attention to scans (or even translation sites) to be honest.  :(

Saw something about Nekota no Koto ending on the author's twitter. Is this month the final chapter?
Final chapter is next month.

Ribon’s website has information on the December issue of Ribon which goes on sale  November 2nd.
The big news is that Nekota no Koto ga Ki ni Natte Shikatanai by Rie Outa is ending.  This is not surprising because Ribon usually ends long running series before the new year starts and had already announced a countdown. But I’m really sad to see this series ends. Can’t wait to see how it all wraps up!
Considering that the final volume of the series will probably be a little short I think we can expect some kind of bonus story or a oneshot by Outa-sensei in either the next issue of Ribon Special (probably in November or December) or in a upcoming issue of Ribon.
Karuki Haru’s Tsumugi to Hakoni wa Monster will also end in this issue with chapter five. I expect this series will probably get a print release even though it seems like the series was not very popular :|
This issue will feature two oneshots by rookie artists: Mazuda Yuna, who seems to be gaining a lot of popularity these days and Shirosaki Fumiko. Shirosaki-sensei’s debut story was recently featured as part of Margaret Bookstore promotion. You can read it for free here.
Yoko Maki’s Kirameki no Lion Boy will get the cover and Mayu Sakai’s series Kimi to Dake wa Koi ni Ochinai will have the opening color page.
The preview cut for this issue’s chapter of Suisai is digitally colored. Looks like Yukimaru-sensei is moving in that direction now. I’m not sure how I feel about that. :\

(((And I do promise to post more... I just need a little time to get my life in order...SOON)))
tumblrs who know what they’re talking about
I usually forget to link to other tumblrs when people ask me questions about “what to read for more info on manga”, so here are the people on tumblr whom I believe Know Their Shit:
darklightsworld is an actually knowledgable academic in the field, and I always love reading her responses. I wish she’d post more text posts, but I realize she’s busy…
fehyesmangareviews is fehyesvintagemanga’s review blog, so this is the one you should follow if you don’t think fehyesvintagemanga posts enough text posts.
nanairo-ribon is about Ribon magazine, which limits its scope, but when she posts stuff about manga and the history of shojo, it’s always super interesting.
What all these have in common is that people I want to read more stuff from don’t post as much as I’d like :< But who am I to talk?!?!?!

The first volumes of Kirameki no Lion Boy by Yoko Maki and Suki ni Nara zu nii Rare Nai by Kyoko Kimura will be released on October 25th. Both volumes are available for preorder on Amazon.
Order Pages: Kirameki no Lion Boy v1 // Suki ni Nara zu nii Rare Nai v1
Amazon’s listing is the first indication we’ve had that Suki ni Nara... will be a multi-volume series - Kyoko Kimura’s first! Although the story has gotten a little complicated in the last two chapters so I’m glad it won’t have a forced ending. Based on Ribon’s promotional comments on the second chapter’s cover page, the series was very well received by readers.
I highly recommend both of these series especially Suki ni Nara... which is perfect for anyone who has been enjoying Nanairo Kakumei’s love triangle focused chapters.
The third volume of Suisai by Moe Yukimaru will also be available October 25th.

Yuuki Nachi’s Boku no Ie ni Oide is on the move again, the next chapter of the series will run in the December issue of The Margaret which goes on sale October 24th. That issue’s preview contained the image above which states that the story will be 100 pages long and divided into two parts. The banner also lists the chapter being in “total color” - I can’t believe Shueisha would actually run 100 pages of shoujo manga in full color so I’m assuming this means that both parts of the chapter will have a color page. Yuuki-sensei also confirmed (via twitter) that volume 10 will be the series’ final volume.
This is an interesting send off for Mirei and Mano especially considering the series’ slide into half-sized chapters in Ribon Special. Yuuki-sensei really borders that line between romance and smut so maybe this is Shueisha testing her out on an older dynamic. I’ve always thought of Yuuki-sensei as more of a Sho-Comi/Cheese type than a Ribon type so a move to Margaret or Cookie would probably free up the possibilities for the kind of stories she can tell. It’s worked for Arina Tanemura, Fumi Eban, and Aki Mochida, why not Yuuki-sensei?!

Ribon’s Youtube channel has posted a new Intuos tutorial video featuring Buddy Go! mangaka Kurosaki Minori. The 8-minute video shows the process Kurosaki-sensei goes through to draw and color her manga with a tablet. For anyone interested in the manga making process or even just using a tablet for your own art purposes this one is worth a watch.

It’s time for a new issue of Ribon which means news for the October issue has been added to Ribon’s website.
1. Kasumi Yuuko will start a new series called Furuya-sensei wa Anzu-chan no Mono (another one of those weird titles to translate into English but basically “The Thing Between Furuya-sensei and Anzu-chan”) about a forbidden student teacher romance. The series will have a color page. I’m really excited about this one. I love Kasumi-sensei and it’s fun to see different kind of romance in Ribon. I think the last teacher/student romance was Chocolate Cosmos so it’s been awhile. I expect this to be a lot of fun but I’m slightly disappointed that this will probably be a short series (because it’s not getting the opening color pages) instead of a full length series.
2. This issue will also feature a new oneshot called Ookami-kun to Osaru-chan no Tomodachi Kankei (Wolf Boy and Monkey Girl’s Friendship) from Kanda China one of Ribon’s quickest rising stars. This will be her first story to be published in the main Ribon magazine.
3. Honey Lemon Soda will be featured on the cover and opening color pages.
4. This issue will come with a special fanbook for the band SEKAI NO OWARI

I would like to know if and when you continue the summaries of ribon , I would very much like I always followed them carefully . Thank you
Honestly it’s eating me up inside. I was shocked when I realized I hadn’t written a summary since February. I actually have 99% of the April issue written out in my drafts but since it’s been so long I feel weird about it.
I’m honestly disappointed in myself because it was one of the few things in my life I didn’t have to do and managed to keep up with. Plus, I’ve noticed that the other websites that provide updates on Ribon are down right now.
Personally I really want to continue writing the summaries but I guess since it’s been five months I have a weird anxiety about it now.
It doesn’t help that my job keeps me really busy.
At this point in time I want to continue writing them especially since it helps my own understanding of the series. Now that I haven’t been writing summaries I’ve actually been forgetting plot points which is pretty sad. :\
It kinda also sucks that there’s actually so much I want to talk about especially with Aya Segawa and Kyoko Kimura who I’ve been rooting for currently serializing new series.
I know that there are probably people who are disappointed because I’ve been there - waiting on a summary from someone who never updates - so trust me I feel really bad. And kinda overwhelmed.
This is a long ramble. Sorry it’s kinda an awkward response. Hopefully soon is the answer I’m going with.
