I have this headcanon that Hiyori sees her father and Onii-Chan early one morning watching the sunrise. Kirishima has his hand gripping Yokozawa’s waist, pulling him into his chest. They’re talking in low tones, faces close. They seem to be busy and don’t see her, so she decides to try to go back to sleep.

It’s a couple of years later, when she’s in middle school that something just clicks in her head. Hiyori thinks back to all the events Yokozawa has been there for, her father’s smile when he looks at Onii-chan, the way they sometimes get a bit too close to each other in the kitchen or on the sofa.

She thinks back to when Yokozawa cried when she told him he was her and her father’s special person.

She realizes that they’re together and while she doesn’t say anything to them about it, just watching them confirms it for her. The way her father’s hands linger, Yokozawa’s blush rising as he darts eyes her way. The soft expression Yokozawa gets sometimes when he’s looking at an unaware Zen.

Honestly, she couldn’t be happier to have a stepfather and she hopes one day they are able to tell her.
