Here’s the thing, 

I’ve been RPing for about 7 years now? About 4 of those on Tumblr. Throughout that time, I’ve made at least 30 blogs (yes, really), mostly oc’s. I’ve met hundreds of people, spent countless nights choosing not to sleep and just writing. The people in this community have been my friends, my enemies, my support and my biggest critic. And I thank you all for it. I came out of a 6 month hiatus to make another oc whose place Steve took soon after. When I decided to bring Steve back in the game (because I had Steve about a couple years ago), I promised myself he’d be my last shot at this whole thing. If Steve didn’t work out, I would stop roleplaying forever. And Steve didn’t. Not for the lack of trying, or because of you guys, you all have been lovely, but because sometimes, some things must end and there’s nothing wrong with that! Truth is, I’m glad this point came in my life? Not because I’m quitting, but because to me, that signifies the need to change, and in my life I’ve been stationary for way too long. My 21st birthday is in 3 weeks. I know age doesn’t matter in RP, but I just think it’s time to take a step further. 

I am grateful for discovering this wonderful community, and I am thankful that in some of my darkest times, it supported me and helped me through them. But a bird has to learn how to fly eventually, guys. It’s a good thing. At least now y’all won’t have to deal with my screaming ted talks!!! 

To wrap it up. RPing has been a chapter of my life I will always be grateful for, but it has come to an end. I leave this community with a smile and a full heart, and the hope that no matter how shitty things get, you will all have each other’s backs.
