Also yeah I completely forgot caufeild had to be reprinted which means he dies some time between sas starting in the new tower and caufield greeting him and SAYER rebuilding the dev team?

I totally think that SAYER was fighting Some request caufield made to experiment on Argos. SAYER was interested in getting Vidaar-1 approved and actively spends that arc trying to fight the stereotype that Argos tower only contributes Biomass. And SAYER was helping Morris way more than it had to. It mentions it gave her access to caufields records.

Alot of what you laid out totally lines up, god I have to relisten to those episodes again

Also omg the spreadsheet of the locations is brilliant, I feel like that would probably make the whole show a lot clearer

Hey so can anybody explain what was going on with Dr. Caufeild, cassandra Morris and that one water maintenance technician Sas in minos tower? because those have always been some of my favorite episode (the Ashley shadowbrook eps are all really good) but I still can't parse it all

Sayer asks resident morris a lot of questions that boil down to "pay attention to gradual change here, when does something change enough to be considered something new?"

And caufeild is left with some kind of question of whether Cassandra would help him to her own detriment or if she would allow harm to come to him

And caufeild is interested in running a mass experiment on Argos tower

Morris wanted Sas transferred from Argos because they're dating but they're more serious than Aerolith likes and Sas's transfer is dangerous for him??? but has cooled tensions for the time being between caufeild and morris

Like I feel like I should get it but sometimes Sayer talking around things in parables and paradoxes really flies over my head

Found a Darkthur sketch in procreate from about a month ago, decided to clean it up the tiniest bit to post. I know this isn’t necessarily the only or the most likely interpretation, but I absolutely love the narrative idea of this Arthur cutting off his own left arm when John gets too uppity.

If people were too mean to you when you were growing up, a newborn animal will materialize inside your brain and it’s so so scared and shivering and it will stay there for years. Decades, even. And whenever you say something kind of weird but true to your heart the animal will tell you “Noo! You can’t say that! If you say that, everyone will hate you!”. The animal means well. It’s so so small and everything is so scary for them and it’s just trying to protect you. But listen to me. Listen to me. Whenever this happens, you can’t do what the animal says. You can’t. If you do, you’ll become as scared as the animal. You have to keep saying weird shit. You have to keep doing things the animal wouldn’t approve of. If you do enough things that scare the animal, maybe one day it’ll go to sleep.
