Husband and I were looking for wax melts for the living room. We always call them "tarts" where I'm from. I picked one up.

It smelled exactly like her. To a T. I'm pretty sure it matched her perfume. It was really upsetting for both of us. He went off to look at water bottles and I grabbed a different tart and followed.

Then, maybe a comic joke or a message or somthing but over the store's radio they start playing "Is It Over Now?" by Taylor Swift. This is the song that I've listened to for months and summed up my feeling on everything.

We get home.

I'm going through my old Facebook memories listening to "Down Bad" by Taylor Swift.

And of course a photo I had tagged her on years ago popped up for me to delete.

The "witch" in my name isn't just for show. I'm Norse Pagan and a practicing witch. "What in the fuck" being, the moment we happen to find a tart that matches her perfume or body spray, the radio plays a TS Vault Track that was never a single, and one the radio doesnt really play. I know this because we both work at this store.
