“Good,” he hums, closing his eyes as his wing falls right back over you.

I reach up and gently brush my fingers through the feathers, “so soft.”

“Patrol is okay?” He asks quietly, still half asleep. “All okay?”

“All okay,” I confirm, snuffling into his side and under the blanket.

Galin hums and opens his eyes a little, giving you a slow, sleepy grin, "Hallo," he whispers.

“Hi,” I whisper back, crawling in next to him.

"One hour," he pretends to set his watch, grinning sleepily, "I keep track. You come back later than one hour and I come look for you."

“Okay,” I breathe a laugh and kiss his cheek before getting up and dressed.

I head out for patrol with Jet, using this time to talk with him as I always do.

He really is my very best friend.

Almost exactly an hour later, I head up the ramp and immediately shed my boots and outer robe, desperately wanting the bed to get more sleep.

“I go with you,” he offers, flapping his wing a little. “Keep warm. With wing!”

“You should stay and keep Ani warm,” I hum, leaning against his wing for a moment to soak in the warms, “I’ll be back in an hour for more sleep.”

Galin peels an eye open, his wing slowly moving from where it was cocooning you and Anakin so you can get out.

“Good morning,” he whispers.

“Morning,” I mumble, slowly rubbing my eyes, “‘s cold. Don’t wanna go in the cold.”

“Love you too, baby,” he coos, pulling blankets up over all three of you. “Night night.”

I smile and tuck into him more, falling asleep easily.

At five in the morning, I groan and slowly push myself up at the sound of my alarm.

“You didn’t ruin anything, m’love,” he shakes his head, smiling softly. “Don’t worry about it.”

I kiss his cheek, “love you. Night.” I settle in more with a soft sigh, letting myself relax.

Anakin turns to kiss your head, snuggling you up more, "Sleepy time?"

“Sleepy time,” I confirm with a yawn, “sorry to ruin your fun.”

“We get her out,” he smiles softly. “And find good Mando for her! She have better life with us, I think. She will.”

“Oh yeah definitely,” I grin lopsidedly, burying my nose into Anakin’s shoulder.”

“Kaz say they were girlfriend,” he murmurs like it’s gossip. “Say that Padmé was mean so they break up. But Sabe stay. Because she love Naboo.”

“Oh yeah,” I nod quickly, “it’s insane. I wish Sabé would get out, though.”

“Yes Sabé!” He grins. “Kaz say he want to ask her to come to Mandalore. Assist with king stuff when is his time.”

“Honestly I think she’d do it,” I snort, “she doesn’t particularly like Padmé anymore either.”

“Uh yes her,” he nods. “Kaz say he like talk to her assistant lady better. He say she should be in charge.”

“Yeah Sabé is a delight, I love her so much,” I nod quickly.

“Yes- Kaz does not like politic people. He deal with weird Senator lady right now,” he waves a hand. “She kind of crazy. If ask me.”

I roll my eyes, “Padmé? We fucking hate Padmé.”

Galin nods. “Kaz would want to be here too. He hate to miss fun.”

“Oh yes, especially when he’s dealing with politicians instead of us, hm?” I lay down more.

“I see.” He nods, pulling away. “I should let you rest then. Have early day.”

I lean in and kiss him again, “unfortunately. When we’re not on a mission we’ll have fun though.”

Galin sighs. “Let me help, woman. So stubborn,” he murmurs in Mando’a.

“You can help, but Jet and I always go on our morning patrols together. It’s our thing!”
