HERMANN GOTTLIIEB BATHDAY BOI PROMPHT PLEASE!💗🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳✨✨✨✨

[ID: 3-page, black-and-white comic featuring Hermann and Newt from pacific rim. It starts with dialogue.

Newt: Morning, Herms!

Hermann: Good morning, Newton.

Newt: I left you something on your desk :)

On Hermann's desk sit two cupcakes with lettering reading: "hpy birth! Herms!", a wrapped present, a letter, and a mug. Hermann picks up one of the cupcakes, perplexed, while Newt bounces excitingly in the background. Hermanns turns to him and asks: "you didn't put poison in this, did you?" to which Newt replies: "Dude, i am not that much of an ass! I did bake them myself tho."

Hermann then smiles at him and says: "well, thank you Newton, this is rea-" but he gets interrupted by Newt yelling: "I still need to sing for you dude, hold on!" Hermann tries to stop him by saying: "Newt, this is not-" but Newt clears his throat and starts singing "Happy Birthday". As he finishes, Hermann tries to say something again, but Newt interrupts him anew by yelling "Hoch soll er leben, Hoch soll er leben, dreimal hoch, hoch, hoch" while throwing his arms in the air. Hermann, now looking a bit defeated, asks: "are you done?" to which Newt replies: "Yes :)". The dialogue on the last page reads:

Newt: "Btw, don't open your present till you are back in your quarters, haha.

Hermann: ...why?

Newt: =)

Hermann: Newton. End ID]

Ignore me. I’m ridiculous. lol  I just wanted to draw them as ridiculous hipsters. That’s pretty much it. I figured Newt wouldnt be the type to have a normal flower crown. His would be made of fungi, and bugs and stuff. Hermann’s cane is a gaudy gold and white thing with pi going all the way down and around the main portion. And a plus sign and grid motif in his clothes.
