Just a fandom girl, living in a lonely world
We don't tolerate homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, or bigotry of any kind. Free Palestine, free Yemen, free the world from colonizing assholes.
innocent children starved to death because Israel is blocking aid:
how are these pictures even real? how can people look at these pictures and not die on the inside? inhumane. the conditions they’re living in, the pain they’re going through is simply inhumane. no words at all. 💔

Journalist Hossam Shabat reports on weather conditions in Gaza. He writes
Today, temperatures in Gaza reached 37°C (100°F), with most residents living in tents where the temperature is even higher. People lack fans, air conditioning, or access to drinkable water.
This heatwave is expected to increase the risk of heatstroke among the already malnourished and dehydrated population in northern Gaza.
Day 200. This post is for the burnt out activists. There is hope. Don’t let them convince you otherwise. “It starts with Gaza.” from Lets Talk Palestine, 23/Apr/2024:
🇵🇸💚 A mariachi band joins the Columbia encampment!
🔹 Original caption: A mariachi band joined the encampment and sung Cielito Lindo to students at Columbia. “Oh, oh, oh, oh, sing and do not cry, because singing cheers up, pretty little darling, our hearts.”

JUST NOW: our comrades at ut austin are facing off with the police/state troopers. state troopers can be heard commanding them to move as protesters attempt to hold their ground.
anyone in or near nyc: the gaza solidarity encampment is in desperate need of support as columbia university president minouche shafik intends to have the camp swept (again) at midnight if an agreement cannot be reached with organizers. the escalation against activists has been ongoing all week long.
i have been in touch with students (who wish to remain anonymous for their own safety) and following others participating in the encampment and your support at this moment is absolutely crucial if you can spare it.
**i’ve seen various mentions of the national guard being dispatched but as of several hours ago ny governor kathy hochul said she had no plans to allow for it. this, however, does not keep the encampment safe from violence at the hands of the NYPD.
“Palestinian children look at Ziad Abu Eid, who fled the besieged Nahr al-Bared camp, speaking with his bride Amal during their wedding at a balcony decorated with advertising plastic sheets used as makeshift curtains to protect them from the sun and eyes of curious onlookers at the Uzai area, south of Beirut. Against all odds and despite the thud of mortars and rattle of machine guns, Ziad fled the Nahr al-Bared camp and decided to get married. His move was not a challenge or to prove that life continues despite death and destruction, but it was to make sure that his beloved wife will be near him if he ever needed to flee or be displaced again.”
2024. A journalist passes out roses to those who lost a loved one in Gaza. Hani Aburezeq says “the roses have run out, but our wounds have not healed yet, because in every Palestinian household, there’s a martyr.”
