My problem is that I want someone to ask me if I need anything emotionally for once. I want so badly to be included in mundane things, specially when life is lifeing so hard.

25 years ago today, my Mama died. I say died because back then, I knew nothing about the word transition.

She left this dimension.

I don't think I ever really dealt with any of it wholly, just in bite sized pieces. As I get older, I have so many questions that only she would be able to answer.

I find it difficult to process that I can communicate with so many others who have transitioned, but not seemingly my own Mother.

I don't remember her voice but I remember the sound of her laugh.

I find it feels burdensome to expect people to remember my trauma, so I deal with it alone as much as I can.

I think it is helpful to ask grieving people what they need instead of assuming they want to be left alone.

Anyway, if you're parents are alive, tell them you love them often.
