“I started shooting photos a little bit more than 2 years ago, I started with film and stuck to it, my first double exposure was done by accident, I enjoyed the outcome so much that I started to shoot more and more double exposures because it’s awesome to have two sides of a story on just one frame. I’m always portraying my closest friends the only reason I shoot photos is that I wanna make memories, I want to have photos to look at when I’m older and just remember things I may have forgot about. I never plan anything when I shoot, probably because I always carry my camera with me so I don’t have to, when I come across something interesting I just shoot it regardless of time, weather, people, etc. I just really focus on the moment and what I feel.”

I want you to remember me not only as a time of day breezing through - remember me as a moment who stays, who whispers in your ear who rides the echoes of a familiar voice.

I want you to know me as an afternoon who plays with the night sky, know me as a friend of the stars know me as a brother of the earth know me as a cousin to the moon know me as a son to the sun.

Playing the all the possibilities of a simple hapenstance left in the whims of a second chance.

Lately I’ve been dreaming a lot.

[nirmana-kaya]

I remember how throughout middle school - high school there was so much pressure around to be dating someone, and if you weren’t, you were a loser or deemed unattractive. Your relationship status was like a social status, and if you’ve never been in one, you’re inexperienced and missing out.

I always thought to myself, what about the work I put into my personal interests? What about the friends I build deep connections with? What about me just being capable of taking care of myself? I feel like there was a lack of emphasis of being your own self and not giving a shit about what other people are doing back in middle school / high school.

While some people may think it’s important to have had previous relationship experiences before (which yeah, it works for some people that way), there’s also nothing wrong with investing that time in yourself and your friendships, and placing yourself first ✌🏻
