Buck bringing Tommy to a 118 barbecue and the team all doing the older sibling thing of telling embarrassing stories about buck and buck is sulking but secretly having the best time bc his team is his family and Tommy has his arm around buck the whole time so who cares really, that Tommy is hearing the story of that time he couldn't stand on the ice rink for the fourth time?

And then Bobby gets this smile on his face, and Buck wonders what he's going to bring up, what embarrassing story he's going to have to sit through next

Except Bobby doesn't start telling a buck story.

Bobby asks Tommy if he's seen any chickens lately, and Tommy is burying his face in the hand that isn't on Buck's waist, and oh

And buck listens with glee to the whole thing, as Tommy feebly argues that the chicken was armed, and had genuinely proven itself dangerous before giving in and muffling an embarrassed little laugh into Buck's shoulder

my chemical romance is the funniest and weirdest band ever. They’re all fucking losers who would genuinely rather play dnd than hook up with groupies. The singer used to work at Cartoon Network. The bassist is on the fbi watchlist for crimes against disney. One guitarist is a guitar god but he also used to keep a little action figure of spiderman in his pocket all the time, the other is like a little lap dog of a man, but he’s also on the fbi watchlist for death threats against a us president. They refused to be on the twilight soundtrack, one of the most popular franchises at the time but then they preformed on yo gabba gabba and re-recorded one of their songs in simlish.

I know that the “Buckley Diaz family” has been a term for years in this fandom but I’m going to be brave and tell you one of my pretty controversial headcanons:

If Buck and Eddie ended up together and eventually got married, Buck would change his name and be Evan Diaz.

Considering how awful his parents were to him, I don’t think keeping the name “Buckley”, a name his parents gave him, is a super high priority for him. I think he’d rather have the name of the love of his life and literal son than the name of the people who hurt him so badly. I think at that point in his relationship he’d identify more with the Diaz name.

I also think it would be a little funny when he would introduce himself to someone he’s just met like: “Evan Diaz, but everyone calls me Buck.” And whoever he meets always just looks a little confused like “Why is that his nickname?”

also im just fucking cracking up at oliver going "at the beginning of the season I was going to play buck as having a sexual awakening whether the writers were doing it or not" and that translating to buck looking at eddie with the most down horrendous blushy heart eyes possible in every scene cause WHAT would he have done if tim didn't decide to make it canon. at some point he would've been in a scene with eddie and marisol and you would just see buck in the background gagging. he would give that boy Hanahaki disease in the name of character development.

Saw something about Hua Cheng always being able to sense his ashes so he can always sense Xie Lian and I just think it adds a hilarious take to him giving Xie Lian his ashes. Like yes it’s a beautiful and romantic ghostly tradition but there is something so funny about him given them to him the moment he has to leave so he doesn’t lose him again after 800 years of searching like someone tagging a bird to track their migration habits. He is not taking no fucking chances.

We’re never beating the “disaster bi” accusations if you swing from running into the closet screaming “hot chicks” on one date and then invite the man to your sister’s wedding blowing off the closet doors to everyone you know, including your biological parents, who are terrible, for the second.

Okay so thinking about next episode. It seems like the whole episode will be about finding chim for the wedding and Eddie and buck trying to piece together memories from the night before. So after they find chim and the wedding happens, something tells me no matter what they are getting married even if it’s at the hospital while chim recovers. After all that’s settled Eddie gets a memory of him and buck kissing. Eddies pretty sure buck doesn’t remember because he’s not acting weird or anything and he hasn’t said anything so Eddie keeps it to himself. The next few episodes is Eddie wrestling with all that, kissing buck, feeling like he’s lying to him, basically cheating on Marisol, possibly not being straight, realizing he wants to kiss buck again. Until the season finale at the end of the episode eddie finally breaks down and tells buck and buck not knowing what to do about it either considering he’s with Tommy now. Then season 8 is about them both figuring out what they want and slowly finding their way to each other.
