One thing I love about Laios is that he's an excellent representation of an autistic extrovert person. My boy has like zero social skills and cannot understand social cues, but it's very clear that he *loves* talking and making friends with other people. He loves infodumping about his special interest to others. He loves sharing what he loves with others as much as he loves learning new things from them.

Laios likes connecting with others. And both times Laios learns that someone whom he thought was his friend actually dislikes him/has a low opinion of him, he's deeply hurt.
