We do not advise sending asks that simply name a fic and asking for others like it, and let us share why.

We might not have read it (this has been the case more often than not recently), so we have no idea what the fic is like.

On top of that, the fics mentioned are often long, with lots of plot and tropes and moods and things happening... what, in all of that, is it you actually want more of?

Feel free to mention fics you like, we love getting recs too! But don't just do that. Please, actually try to tell us what it is about the fic(s) you like. What tropes/genres/careers/characterisation/writing style, etc.
