If our expectations are not met, either by others or by ourselves we get upset. So we strut around with this sense of entitlement and self centredness. We get this egotistical attitude that the world owes us something. To have our illusions shattered, and live with more awareness and presence. We need to be woken up, out of our complacency, our ignorance. It’s only through knowledge and awareness can we ever hope to live a good life. But disillusioned means to break an illusion, and falsehood or deception, it’s liberating. We often think to be disillusioned is a negative thing, we lost something. We need to be jolted out of our illusions. Such ignorance is the basis of our suffering. To live without awareness is to live with blinders onto the world. We don’t notice the tricks our minds play on us unless we make an effort to see them. Our minds are not here to give us the truth, only to keep us alive. We can get so caught up in thinking we are what we think we forget an important truth. We are the thoughts and feelings we have. That way you’ll enjoy even the simplest things in life-no longer addicted to achievement or expensive entertainments.’ Dan Millman/Socrates Finally, your awareness will pierce deeply into your body and into the world. Refine your senses a little more each day stretch them, as you would in the gym. It’s stepping up and doing what needs to be done, to be the person we want to be, and the life we want to live. It tells the story of a young man on a journey to find his place in the world. Years after reading the book Way of the Peaceful Warrior, again I’m reminded why I like it so much.

These can easily be swapped with better coolers from Zalman or Arctic Cooling. Most graphics cards are equipped with low quality stock fans that makes quite the impact on overall noise levels. While noise can be an annoyance, removing all cooling components can become quite hazardous. I will use for most of my HTPC recommendations, check out their page and forum! Of course, if you are not interested in setting up windows media center, this book should be more suited for. I wish I had this book when I started out as it would have saved me a lot of time. If you are still at a planning stage for your HTPC, I recommend getting this book. They get back together, without all the kinky fuckery involved i.e. In the end, it made her leave him because she didn’t know how to deal with him anymore.īook two starts with Ana in depression, and Christian pretty much almost going insane. Some of it was too much for dear Ana, some of it she liked. However, she does participate in the “Red room of pain” where Christian “aims to please”. He buys her a car, new clothes, first edition books, … etc… and in return, all she has to do is be his sex slave. This starts their BDSM relationship, after he makes love to her, making her lose her virginity to him. Christian takes Ana to his hotel suit, where he takes care of her, as in, holding her hair back as she pukes. He shows up as soon as Jose tries to kiss Ana. Ana and Jose get wasted and Ana accidentally dials Christian’s number. He hands her his business card for a photo shoot for the school paper. Grey is intrigued by Ana, to the point of showing up at her work and asking her some personal questions. Grey by not checking with Kate about his background information and by asking him if he is, in fact, gay. Grey for her best friend, Kate, who has the flu. The books tell the life of Anastasia Steele, as she is finishing her college years and graduate soon. I felt the need to write that little bit, just in case. Each and every guy is different and have different needs, hopes, and dreams. I don’t want teenagers out there thinking that all guys want is hot, kinky, “red room of pain” fuckery. Sex/love (or both) happen with people at many different places for many different reasons. I don’t want girls out there thinking that some hot CEO is going to scoop them up and have their way with them just because that’s how ONE book told them that’s how it is. Please, for the benefit of a doubt, at least fall in love first (in a relationship, no just a really big crush,okay), or at least have sex (do not go have sex with a random boy just because this blog said to), just once, before even attempting to read this. Even though, I know some parents out there are doing just that. No fifteen year old should be reading this, at all. But! They are very different, as they should since this book is aimed at an entirely different age group. Yes, the two (meaning Twilight and 50 Shades) have a lot of similarities. Nor is this book like Twilight Saga, where Bella is always having a fight within herself, between being apart of reality, and the vampire/wolf world. It’s nothing like Harry Potter, where you think each book is perfect and you simply cannot decide on a favorite.
Reviewing the Trilogy as an entirety, is not an easy feat.

Two of the new adopted features are important and easy to implement into your current and future Revit projects so they are features that you must know.įirst is the Electrical Apparent Load Calculation options now found under Electrical Settings. Since the release of Autodesk Revit 2017.1, Revit has evolved enormously to allow design intent to be more thoroughly captured within the model without reliance on third party software or complex and time consuming workarounds. Yes folks it's happening, Autodesk added new features to Revit for Electrical design! But you might get frustrated or confused and think something is “broken” if you ever need to set the Levels to read from the “Survey point”, then unclip the survey point and move it to another location.īy the way, the same hold true for the Spot Elevation and Spot Coordinate dimensions! This probably doesn’t make a difference in most Revit projects, and you may have never even dealt with this. The Level is actually using the current Shared Coordinate! If you move the Survey point (just as you did the Project Base Point), but leave it clipped, you are also moving the Shared Coordinate location, and in this scenario everything seems to be copasetic and working as intended.īUT if you unclip the Survey Point, then move it, the location of the Shared Coordinate does not change and neither does the dimension of the Level! So, in fact, the Level’s dimension is not reading from the Survey Point as advertised! It’s actually reading from the the Shared Coordinate location. This is where there is confusion, and you DON’T EVEN REALIZE IT! The truth is the dimension shown on the level is not actually using the Survey Point as its reference. If you edit the Level’s Type Parameters and change the “Elevation Base” parameter to Survey Point, the Level’s dimension will instead read based on the location of the Survey Point … Maybe! For example, if you want this to read 100’-0”, you simply move the Project Base Point down 100’ and voila! This comes in handy when you need to set the construction datum to something other than 0’-0”. Note: previous to Revit version 2020.2 the functionality was the same, you just had to unclip the Project Base Point before you moved it. If you move it, let’s say down in the Z axis, the elevation dimension on the Level will change (assuming of course, the Level’s Elevation Base is set to Project Base Point.) The default location of the Project Base Point is in the same place as Revit’s Origin (or 0,0,0). So, what does this mean? This will control the datum Revit uses to display the elevation of a Level. In a Level’s Type Parameters, you have the ability to set the “Elevation Base” to either Project Base point, or Survey point. But there is one area of every project you do interact with coordinates, and that is with Levels. In most smaller projects, and even sometimes in bigger projects you may not even worry about coordinates… at least not that you intentionally think about. In fact, coordinates are a part of every Revit project, whether you intentionally interact with them or not. Delegates will learn the fundamental features of Revit MEP, and then progress through schematic design, system analysis and construction documentation before finishing with design visualisation.Coordinates are vital for many aspects of any Revit project.

When you unzip yor download, you will see that Material Shader has a number of sub-folders. Using Real Figure Shader, the face looks very nice but the rest of the figure was not “as nice” as it was in Real Material or Material Shader. When I used either Real Material Shader or Material Shader, that translucence was lost… it went opaque. And, see how that translucent shirt/top she is wearing STILL looks translucent. This shader was originally introduced as a method to make your MMD model look more like a plastic figurine… and you can certainly see that in the face of the model. … again… Adjust the Self_Shadow and the main lights to get “the look” that you like. “Set Effect” in MME and choose “Figure Shader.fx” or “Figure Shader Dark.fx” … and… you are done! Real Figure Shader works using the same easy method. … and then you will want to adjust the main lights in MMD. You can adjust the slider to get just the effect you want. You will find that you need to have the “Self_Shadow Manipulation” set to either Mode 1 or Mode 2. You need “Self _Shadow” and see that LIGHTING is critical! Select your model and “Set Effect”… navigate to your Real Material Shader folder and select “MentalRay Shade.fx”… and… you are done. Go to the MMEffect in the upper right of the MMD screen and select Effect Mapping. There is no “.X” file to load as an accessory. Per my reader’s inquiry, I started my research with Real Material Shader. The model I am using is TDA China Dress Miku Canary Ver1.00 Real Material Shader: … and some files are from 2011! It’s just glowing there is no residual light effect on the body suit of the character. Fig 25.0īut there is still one more thing… we notice that glow lights on the character are not interacting with the rest of the body. We can see now that the scene is looking way more striking.
Scroll down to glow, adjust the strength. So once more you go to material then pick material, then you click on that particular material that you want to glow. So I’ll do the same thing to that Neck vent part on the upper torso of the character. When I increase the value, the visor is glows and it’s looks a lot more realistic and interesting. Mine is already set, so all I do is to increase the value of the glow strength.
Once you double-click, a pop-up appears with different glow maps images that you can. Look inside the Glow material, and if you don’t have a glow map here, then just double-click on the option to open up a selection. You want to make sure that your shade types are set to PBR. Once the material is selected, we scroll down to the Texture Settings, and then find the Glow material channel. Fig.17.0Īfter you chose the pick material tool, you then click on the glass visor to select that material. Once inside, you want to click on pick material tool which will help you easily select the materials you wish to modify. So in other to make it more realistic and to light it up, you click on your character then go to material under Modify, again on the right-side of iClone. Is one more thing you need to observe here. Then I go again into Content Manager/Scene/Light, and turn it ON to see the result it has on the background. For this I go again to Create light/Light/Spotlight, and I move my light to a position where it will cast onto the background of the scene. So I am going to add a backlight to the background to accentuate it a little bit. There is nothing worse than ruining your hard work by overseeing important Purpose for this is to avoid making the background look flat. 10.0īut we still notice that the background is a bit dull, so we need to light it up too. The light also nicely interacts with the character, giving it an awesome look once the character is walking around in the scene. The first thing we do is go to the light prop at the edge of the scene, to start adding lights. All we have is a character and other props set up, and we have all the lights turned off. And as you can see there are no lights in the scene. OK, so as usual we have our scene open in iClone. These are my favored starting conditions. In the lower right, you can also see that I've set the map size to large. The Game World settings, I'm leaving on default for Easy. However, there are more game settings to tweak. I'll get into more detail about them later. They will not build cities, they will not go anywhere. This configuration, however, makes all AI presences on the map completely passive. Note the reminder that I'm playing with the Deep Sea expansion - if you only get the base game, well, I have never played Anno 2070 without Deep Sea so I have no idea what the base game is like!įor a first-time player I strongly recommend this as the setup for 'Third Parties' - AI presences on the map. 2070 is generally regarded by series fans as one of the better entries in the series, and I personally prefer the sci-fi setting over the historical settings of most of the rest of the series. While there's quite a few games in the Anno series, most of them historical in setting, I will be playing Anno 2070. It is my hope to break things down for people who have no idea what Anno is, and walk you through building a beautiful (or at least functional) city. Anno games have a well earned reputation for being beautiful, engrossing, and completely opaque and frustrating to new players. Where the Anno games differ from more traditional city-builders like SimCity and Cities: Skylines is in the Anno series' focus on trade and logistics, rather than on urban planning or development.
(This might not work, but there's no harm in using the proper version of Uplay, rather than the V.1.Anno, sometimes called Anno Domini, is a long-running series of city-builders produced by a German company. When that's done, launch it and sign in through there, then close it and launch Anno via Steam and see if that works. To do that, uninstall Uplay, go to its directory (Ubisoft > Ubisoft Game Launcher) and delete any left over files, then reinstall from their website. You COULD try reinstalling Uplay from their website, which is much more bug free.If it's always coming up saying there are 4 failed files, can you tell me the approximate file size total? That could help determine if it's something like a data archive or just a basic file.Can you check the file size of your Anno 2070 directory? It should be 3.4gb.It checks all of your data files for Anno 2070 to make sure they aren't modified, to stop people using hacked files to cheat.
