"Hey, uhh, is this seat taken?" Jasey asked, motioning to the seat next to Alex.

“I’ve only been to a couple cafés, but there one on John Street. Good food, good prices, quiet which I prefer. You could try that.”

“I was curious, but is there any place around here you suggest to go to? Like cafes and stuff?”

The front door opens and a bag drops on the floor with a thud. Alex turns on the hallway light and is surprised, to say the least, when he sees a young woman is in his apartment.

“So should I call the poilce?”
CATastrophe
"I knew it was a terrible idea to get a cat," Mel hissed under her breath as she struggled to open the window entirely. There was a small enough space for her new devil cat, Orion, to slip through, but not quite enough for her to get through without some nudging.
Tumblr media
Focusing hard, she felt the window give way to her powers, throwing her onto the floor of the strange apartment. Mel lifted herself up with an quiet huff. “I’m going to strangle that cat. Orion!"

tutorial: how to make your entries stationary for a box theme.
so, i’ve noticed a lot of rpers making their own box themes now ( example as to what i am talking about, in case someone is unsure ), but i’ve come across quite a few where the entries aren’t fixed inside the box. they move all over the page, depending on the resolution, or whatever you’ve sized your browser to, and that can be difficult to navigate when you’re trying to read through someone’s roleplays, or just be generally cumbersome if you’re editing your theme & don’t know how to keep it still. this is my method for doing this, though i’m sure there are others, and it’s not getting into anything fancy like div wraps, etc.;  this should be ideal if you have a single background & an entries div. that said, position: fixed ; is really the most essential line of coding in this process and you can apply it just about anywhere and keep whatever you want still.
on another note, i will not be offering any further assistance with this tutorial ; i really don’t want to be looking over lines & lines of code for the one thing wrong. try things out for yourself, look things up, learn, ask a html/coding blog for help if you’re really stuck.
