Here is a fanfic. Sorry I couldn't wait to post it, so I did it now.
Tumblr media
The gender of the reader is never mentioned, and it's written with them/they.             .:.:.
(English isn't my first language, so if the text is super weird, blame that!!!)
Honestly, Y/n isn't that crazy, just a little bit weird.
Warnings: Kiss, dead Ace, Alive Ace?, a little angst, reader being a real creep (but only under some sentences), this is long!
N/n = Nickname, but now it's the villain name you come up for yourself.
------------------------------------------------------------
To begin with, who are you?
_____________________
During the battle of marineford, prisoners from Impel Down escaped from level six, after Blackbeard had paid a visit, one being N/n. No one knew much about them except they ended up there for attacking admiral Akainu. Apparently, Akainu had personally requested that they end up in level 6 even though they didn't have a bounty. The only thing that gave you a reputation was the fact that the navy had failed to kill you.
_____________________
You walked out of Impel Down without problem, and when you came out on the bridge, a submarine rose from the water. Smiling, you walked onboard.  Holding two little bottles filled with Magellan's red and purple poison that you had gotten from the floor. A prisoner tried sneaking onboard only for a gun to shoot him, that sat at the entrance. The submarine went down under the sea and when it was at the very bottom small legs that was inbuilt came out and grabbed the sea floor crawling out of the world government's territory avoiding all the dangerous waves and gates. It also let out sounds that kept seabeasts away.
"Virus! Pull up the cameras at marineford. I heard it be a war there." You ordered the AI you programmed named Virus. A code lock was hidden behind a panel, pressing the code a refrigerator with various substances showed. Leaving Magellan's poison, you closed it and walked to the control room. A huge screen showed different locations of marineford. You settled down in your royal like chair. "Virus, give me popcorn and send the 0.6.78 out in the mini-sub. "Of course, N/n." Answer Virus, after a minute, a tiny submarine set out traveling in extreme speed.
"Virus document all the information you find out." You order while munching on popcorn. Why is everyone risking their lives for him?
"N/n, the 0.6.78 has arrived at marineford." "Good, release them." The 0.6.78 are small drones that scan stuff. Their designed like black balls with a camera in the middle. The 0.6.78 started scanning and measuring energy waves, peoples bodies, and of course, marinefords locks and mechanics.
You put a finger in the eye to get out your contact lens that was actually a little computer so you could work from your cell in impel down. "Virus, can you charge my contact it has lost so much battery that it could only last four months more." A little robot arm stretched out of the wall and took your contact.
"Wait . . . . . Akainu shit is there! Damn moron!" "May I ask why your opinion on him is so low when you attacked him?" Virus asked in her robotic voice. She asked questions often to update her programming. "It's true I attacked him to get into impel down, but he's annoying as f#ck! He's so-called justice is so wrong, I wanna puke!" "I see, N/n how was it in impel down?" Virus asked.
"Well, thanks to my modified body, I didn't get hungry, and the torture was worth it for the poison samples. Oh, you see the guy on the execution platform?" You asked Virus. "Yes, what about him?" "I could see him from my cell. And it's thanks to his brother Magellan used his forbidden red poison. Isn't it great? I waited for two years for him to use it."
"Yay, go . . . . Virus, what's his name?" "The spy cameras have caught his name to be Monkey D. Luffy. Here's all the information I could find about him." A document with facts about Luffy showed up. There was stuff like: Age, places he's been, bounty, crew members, family. The document loaded up, and a scan of his body came, so now information about his structure, temperature, devil fruit, blood, size of organs, and just useful information.
"I forgot how much information I get from my information devices. I'm such a stalker." You mumbled sucking on a popcorn. "Oi, Virus, I'm not gonna memorize this. I can barely remember what I eat for dinner."
Time skip
"Virus, send five of the 0.6.78 after Red hair Shanks and the Whitebeard pirates." "Of course, N/n. Why, though? You already have the power measurements of people like Mihawk." Virus asked. "Oh, I have gotten a theory that might work! And if I manage, not even Doctor Vegapunk will be able to compete with me." You laughed a little and stood up, walking to your desk. "But, I need a dead body. And whose body is going to piss of Akainu the most?"
"It depends on what you're planning on doing. If it is something good in Akainu's eyes, then it might be best to try and slay another admiral. But if it's something bad, then I believe Portgas D. Ace body would fit perfectly."
"Portgas D. Ace will do. Virus, make sure you know where they bury him so we can pick him up!" You yell in an exited tone. "Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. Show Ace's body files on my desk computer." The screen emidetley showed all the information of him on the screen. Mumbling, you began working on a design for a tank.
"Virus, the pink virus like creatures we found deep down in the ocean. I need you to send out a submarine and collect as many as possible from the deep sea grave nearby water seven. Collect them in a fish tank filled with 3.2.35. In theory, should they be able to live in that liquid.
Two weeks later
"Why in actual hell did it take so long for everyone to leave Whitebeard's and Ace's graves alone?!" You yell as you keep munching on a piece of bread. The pirates had left the island, and once it was completely safe, your submarine rose from the water. Walking out, you had two robots behind you that were equipped for digging.
Once you got there, you scanned the ground and then let the robots work. First, they sawed a perfect rectangle, both some decimeters deep and were hit, had been connected. Then they slowly lifted up the first lair of ground. Then they digged more and reached after a while the coffin.
They lifted the coffin in the same way and then returned with it to the submarine. After a while, the robots came back with huge sacks of dirt to replace the area that the coffin was.
You observed their work until the end as they had refilled the grave and covered it up. Looking at the scan and then the grave were the traces none. You went up to Ace knife and hat and scanned them so you could recreate them later. "Alright, we're leaving." You ordered as you and the robots walked back to your sub.
"Virus, set the submarines coordinates for my HQ." You said as you settled down in your chair.
The sub traveled deep down at an incredible speed, and after four hours, you saw the beautiful mountain wall. It opened, and your sub drived in. After going in a tunnel for 3 minutes, it rose at a port.
The two robots carried Ace's coffin, and you walked before them like the boss you are. "Welcome back N/n, to the N/n headquarters." Virus said as the cave lit up. "Virus, I appreciate your welcome. After all, I haven't been here for months." You answered as you walked into the glass elevator. "Take me to my lab." You ordered. The elevator started to go down, and through the glass, you saw robots controlled by Virus work.
They constructed big and small cylinder shaped objects that later on would be placed on the ocean floor. Smiling, you watched them put 2.6.56 in a box that would soon travel in one of your submarines that also were controlled by Virus, and later on build up a little more of your sea map.

Sector 3
Sector 4
Sector 5
The elevator stopped, and you and the robots walked out into your lab. They placed down the coffin on a counter and opened it. Putting on gloves, you started to touch him a little. "Virus, send one of the robots back to my sub to get my poison samples." You said as a you felt your body growing warm, especially your cheeks.
"Virus the tank I designed for him. I want you to prepare it and fill it up with 3.2.35 and make sure the pink virus, like things, ends up in it." You ordered. "Take Ace body and clean it up it be bad for the pink virus like things that I know name Pixie 3, to come in contact with all this dirt and trash."
Another robot that wasn't equipped for digging came down together with the digging robot holding the poison samples. "Put them in the fridge together with all the other poisons I collected, and then you and the other one can return to your bunkers." The robot took Ace's body and carried it to a wash room that was specially designed for cleaning.
You settled down in your chair and watched the tank you designed for Ace fill up. Picking up your iPad, you looked at the scan of Ace wound and another file of an energy source you were tracking. The elevator door opened, and as you turned around and you saw . . . . .
"Give him clothes!!! I don't wanna be in the same room as a naked man!!!" You yelled as you ran into a corner and crouched down, holding your face.
"I understand. But the only clothes available are yours. But if it makes you more comfortable I can make new clothes for him in your clothes factory. " Virus asked. "Make new clothes for him." You practically yelled. Ah, I saw it, I saw it . . . . The thought and image stayed placed in your head. After like a minute, you calmed down and turned around only to see him laying on the counter!!!
You quickly turned around and then got hit by the realization. "Don't let his body be too much in oxygen, it could mold!!!" Running to his body, you quickly pushed him into the coffin and closed it, then returned to your state at the corner.
Time skip
You watched as the robot arms placed Ace in the green liquid you created, called 3.2.35, and connected his body to various hoses and threads.
"It's gonna take really long for the Pixie 3 to duplicate all his cells and fix his wounds." You mumbled as you looked at the man. He was pale and didn't look very well at all. "Virus, give vitamin D to the Pixie threes, and then let them give his body the nutrients it needs.
Days passed, and Ace body started to heal and look better. You told yourself that the reason you chose not to use metallic parts was to not do a half ass job. Which is why you decided to make him stronger. . .
Time skip again
It had been two months since the project of fix Ace had begun. His wounds were completely fixed without any ugly stitches, and his condition looked great. The body had began working on it's own, eight days ago, but had still needed some help from the Pixie threes.
Ace
Slowly blurred light shined as he regain his sight. He felt weird as his brain began to process his surroundings, it seemed to be different kinds of inventions and mechanics that surrounded him. He slowly moved his hand before him and saw a metal glove connected to various threads.
What's going on!? Where am I?! Where's Luffy and Pops and the rest!? What is this!? In his panic attack, he began punching the glass that trapped him.
You sat in your dining hall eating lunch in sector 4 and were just enjoying yourself when . . . . . An alarm sounded through your base. Leaving everything you began running to the elevator to get to sector 5. "Ace tank has taken damage!!! Virus, tell me how it's happening?!!" You yelled as the elevator went down a floor.
"Ace has woken up and is trying to destroy the tank to get out." Virus answered in her calm robotic voice. "WHAT, I THOUGHT HE WOULD WAKE UP AROUND NEXT WEEK!!!!!" You screamed as you ran into the lab.
You slowed down as you neared Ace. Holding up your hands, you tried to show you meant no harm.
Ace looked at you and calmed down just a little. "Virus, empty the tank and transport the Pixie threes to another one in sector 3." You said. Emidetley, the 3.2.35, started to flow away together with the Pixie 3 at the bottom of the tank.
Realizing the green liquid started to disappear, Ace calmed down more. But what is going on? A pipe like thing connected to the top and opened the tank, leaving Ace standing.
"I'm going to remove your air mask, alright." You said as you stepped closer, putting your hands on the mask and pulling of the metal gloves.
"Where, where am I?" Pressed Ace out. His voice was weak, it's like he hadn't used it for years or something. Backing away a little, you fiddled with your fingers. "Well, you're in my lab, and I'm N/n." You answered, then you went up to him again, grabbed him, and began to examine his body.
Ace was just about to ask what you were doing when you hugged him. "I AM AT THE TOP. THE BEST. IT'S ME N/n!!!" You cheered as you began jumping around. You smiled and looked Ace over again.
Mumbling a little, you asked, "Do you remember anything?" Ace face wrinkled a little, but then his eyes widened, and a heavy feeling came to him like a cannon ball he hadn't dodged. "Why am I alive?" He asked as he held up his hands, staring at them.
"Yes! You remember, if you didn't, I would have failed. What luck, right!" You cheered. Ace looked at you, then his hands and then at you again. "WHat . . .did you do to me?" He tried screaming, but his voice cracked. He launched to attack, but two robot arms took hold of him.
Yelping, you jumped back and watched as Virus added four more arms to hold him. He didn't look mad more desperate. "Eh, he, he, he." You began as you stood up again, brushing off your clothes. "Sorry, if it's not what you wanted, but it's not like I could ask you about your opinion." You commented, still smiling. I wouldn't have asked though.
"If you calm down, we can go eat. You must be starving for some taste." You said trying your best to sound reassuring. "Oh, Virus get Ace some tablets for his voice." After awhile Ace began to listen to his belly and calmed down. "I calmed down now." He mumbled, feeling the metallic hands leave his body. He was just gonna follow you when another robot hand came down before him, tensing up he was just getting ready for self protection when the fist opened showing tablets. "Oh, thanks." He mumbled taking it and then swallowed them.
He felt how they melted a bit and it was like he got poisoned as his throat began burning. Then it stopped, just like that. "Uh, hi." He said seeing as the pills worked. He kept on following you and walked into the glass thing you stood in. Then the elevator rose to sector 4. "Do you have, any other clothes?" He asked looking down on the ones he was wearing. "Right, Virus, get Ace his old clothes and a shirt." You ordered.
The elevator stopped and Ace followed you into a dinning hall with two chairs one having an ugly sack with a drawn smile on it. "Ehhhhhhh, you can just move him." You said putting a hand on your neck feeling embarrassed. Ace picked it up and threw it away to the wall. "Are we in a castle?" He asked as he looked at the beautiful decorations a crystal lamps hanging from the ceiling.
"Nope, I just wanted my dining hall this way." You said as you began to poke your food with the fork. "A robot came in holding food for Ace and placed it down before him. He felt his stomach rumbling and began eating the food like a pig. "So do you know who I am?" You asked taking a bite of your food. Ace looked at you while munching on meat. "Were you perhaps in impel down?" He answered with another question. "yeah, we could see each other from our cells."
"Could you, explain." He asks looking at you in the eyes. You began telling him how you had watched the war through a screen and how you wanted to try to bring someone back to life with help from the new virus like creatures you discovered. And how they had duplicated his cells to fix his body.
"It sounds logical, until the fact I'm alive comes. You can't just fix a body and then it wakes up again. It's impossible." Ace comment's looking at you. "I was measuring energy attack's at the war with a thing called 0.6.78, whenever someone dies a small energy wave release. Due to past experiences I was already aware it was the persons soul leaving because of dying." You said feeling way more comfortable than before. "And during the war I decided that to piss of Akainu the most, you be the best to revive back. So I tracked your soul and manege to capture it in a box like thing called 0.7.41." You explained, being slightly annoyed he fell asleep two times during your explanation.
Ace wasn't thrilled with the explanation of him being alive. He held up his finger and tried using his fire. Because I died I don't have any devil fruit powers. And how does Luffy feel, I died in his arms. A robot walked in holding a pair of clothes. "Sir Ace, here's your clothes." Ace stood up and took his shorts, belt, hat and ?" Do I really need to wear a shirt?" Ace asked looking at the actually good looking shirt. "Yes, I don't need a shirtless man to walk around here!" You answered fast, in a panic. "Right." Ace said frowning.
"N/n I have a question?" Virus said. "Yes, go on?" You said giving her permission. "Why are you uncomfortable having Sir Ace going around shirtless when you seen him naked?" Blushing you fell of your chair. And then rose and ran to a corner out of habit, hiding your face. "THAT WAS YOUR FAULT VIRUS!!!" You yelled in embarrassment. "I still don't see the problem, I have tried to find the answer on my own but, failed so could you explain?" Asked Virus.
"It's just a stupid nature thing humans have when it comes to this stuff." You mumbled, knowing Virus could hear and hopefully not Ace. "Do you mean you want a kid with him?" Asked Virus, that's when you froze of shock and fell down from your crouched position in the corner. "Virus! I tell you later." You mumbled while crying of embarrassment.
"Is the idea of having a kid with me that bad?" Ace thought out loud, thinking of the blood in his veins. "You're considering it!!!" You yelled standing up and looking at him with a red face. Ace had been blushing due to you seeing him naked but know he realized what he said. His face turned beat red and you two looked at each other. "I put on the shirt. Mumbles Ace as he opens and then closes a door, walking in to change.
"Can you tell me know?" Asked Virus. "NO!!! another time." You said as you fell down in the corner again.
Ace put on his clothes and felt like his old self, kinda at least. Then he put on the shirt. "Still me, just with a shirt." He mumbled. As he opened the door he found himself alone in the dining hall with the Virus robot. Oh, good. I don't know how I would have acted after that. Ace thought. "Sir Ace, I will show you to your room. N/n said they wouldn't be able to see you." The Virus thing said. "Yeah, that's understandable, and stop calling me Sir Ace. It's weird." Answered Ace "Sure thing Mr. Ace, now please follow me." responded Virus beginning to walk. Ace frowned at the Mr thing.
Virus took Ace to a room that you had designed for him. "Wow . . . . ." Was all Ace could say as he looked around. He laid down on the bed and began to think of his situation. "What am I suppose to do?" Asked Ace as he looked at his hands again. Is this fate? Do I deserve to live so much that god gave me another chance. Or is it simply by luck, or maybe I'm unlucky. Wait, this means the war was for nothing. . . . . What should I do know? Ace decided to spend the rest of the time thinking. After an hour of thinking, he stood up and walked to the mirror, taking off his shirt.
There were no signs of any injury, not even old ones. He looked around his body, wanting to find something that was just wrong, to prove to himself you were just a crazy scientist who managed to save him. Who sees him as nothing more than an experiment. When he saw his back, his eyes widened. Parts of his tattoo were gone, his pride. Memory's of Akainu flashed, and Ace began to mutter about the hate-able admiral.
"Excuse me, Mr. Ace, but my I ask a question?" Virus asked. Ace flinched and looked around for any robots, but couldn't find any. "Where are you?" Ace asked still tense, he glared around and tried to see her but, failed. "I'm an AI, N/n has programmed me into every technical thing in their base. I'm with other words able to speak to you wherever and whenever." Virus answered. "Okay . . . . . What do you want?" Ace asked as he looked back in the mirror, not really liking how almost everything from his whitebeard tattoo was gone. "Where you muttering about admiral Akainu?" Ace expression changed. "What if I did?" He asked, going to one of the drawers in the room.
"N/n does not like him. Is it the same with you?" Virus asked. "Oh, well, he is the one who killed me." Ace answered. "If we went on with that logic, wouldn't that mean you're in love with N/n?" Virus commented on his logic. Ace started to blush and shoved his hands in his pockets. How do I answer that without making my own point wrong?
"Maybe you should talk shit about Akainu with N/n.  It could be a great way to bound with them." Virus suggested. "Why, should I bound with them, like doesn't they see me as just another science project?" Ace asked while going through the drawers, finding a little fidget toy. "I can assure you N/n does not see you as just a science project. They are well aware you are another human being unlike me. I understand why you would assume that considering how bad they are at expressing themselves, but that is most likely because of how often they see other humans." Virus explained. "How often is N/n speaking with other people?" Ace asked as he slumped down in the bed holding the fidget toy."
"I hope N/n talked to someone while being in impel down, but if not I believe N/n haven't spoken with anyone for seven years." Virus answered. If Ace had drinked something he would have spitted it out in less then a millisecond. "What?" Ace looked up to where Virus voice came from. "Seven years . . . . ." Ace thought back to impel down. Had he seen you talking to someone? Thinking back he remembered you trying to talk to your prison mate, but he just said, 'Shut it or I kill you.'
"I guess I can go and speak to them. Can you show me the way?" Ace asked. "Of course." Answered Virus and after a lot of directions Ace was taken to a garden. It was beautiful, decorated with all kinds of flowers and nature. As he followed the stone patterned road he found you. You sat at a glass table building a puzzle. Your expression was bored.
"Uh, hi?" He called out to you. Looking up you saw Ace standing there. "Hey, do you need something?" You asked looking back at the puzzle. Picking up a piece. "Well I was just bored and thought maybe I should talk to you. "Alright, I guess I need to tell you some stuff anyways." A robot came from the other side of the garden, carrying a chair for Ace. "Have you been communicating with Virus?" You asked as the chair was placed down for him. "Yeah, she suggested I speak to you, we apparently have something in common." He said with a grin. "Oh yeah and what would that be?" You asked placing down the puzzle piece. "We both hate Akainu." Ace said happily taking a piece to help you. The conversation started quite slow but, got more comfortable after a while. It turned out you both had had opinions on his battle tactics.
"Oh, by the way, you said you had something to tell me?" Ace asked after like two hours of speaking up and downs about the navy. "Right . . . . . Um, when I revived you I modified your body." You said nervously. "Oh, that's cool." Ace answered still smiling well until the words you said clicked. "Wait what?" His expression changed to concern. "What, what did you do?" He asked as a feeling inside him grew heavy. "I gave you a modified cell, that I call Impo and another thing called Pixie threes. Impo should be in all of your cells, while Pixie threes just roam around your body." You mumbled fidgeting with a puzzle piece. "What does this pixie threes do?" Ace asked nervous starting to regret feeling bad about you not having any to socialize with.
"Well, it makes it possible for you to regenerate. For example observe." Holding up your finger you took a knife and cut it off. Ace eyes widened as your finger grew back. It didn't take fast but it didn't do it slow either. "Wait, I can also do that?" Ace asked looking at the cut of finger on the table. "Yeah, but. . . ." Not being able to finish the sentence, Ace took the knife cutting his finger off.  He felt panic grow in him as his brain progressed you had tried to say something.
He watched as his finger grew back, it took like a second. "Wow, what was it you were going to say?" He asked confused since his finger came back.
"I was just gonna say it should be better than mine." You answered his question. "Okay I guess this is cool and useful, oh, wait is it because of this you got known for being impossible to execute?" Ace asked as he kept starring at his new grown finger. "Yup, it's thanks to virus like creatures called Pixie threes. They duplicate cells. I have modified them to know the structure of their respective body, so with other words as long as you have at least one pixie 3 you be able to survive." You explained hoping Ace understood. "Alright, what about the Impo bacteria?" Ace asked.
"The Impo bacteria stores energy. I don't have it modified in my body so---- let's go to my training hall and see if it works like I hope." You said smiling. Grabbing Ace hand you began to run with him out of the garden. As much as Ace did not like the fact you had played with his body, he disliked even more, the fact that your hand felt kinda nice in his.
Going up with the elevator Ace stood there hiding his blush with his other hand covering the tint blush that grew the more he let his mind roll. You started talking about what he should be able to do in theory, but he didn't listen he was to distracted by your and his hand still holding. Oh, common, don't get a crush on someone who's so . . . . pretty. No weird! Shut up mind! They have invaded my privacy and, and, and done weird stuff with my body. There's no reason to forgive them. Even though I want to live now . . . . Ugh, think about your cursed blood! They don't want you as a partner!!! No one wants you like that!
Ace felt that lump in his stomach, that had grown over the years. 'No one want's you like that.' Even though Ace had an amazing family and friends, he always had it hard when it came to the thought of a partner. Sure, many had wanted to date him. But they had no idea who his father were.
"Oi! Are you even listening!!" You asked, you had dragged him to the training hall, that were more designed as an arena. Shaking his head he looked at you. "No, what did you say?" After muttering a little you began to explain, again, that he should be able to absorb energy and use it for himself in different kinds of ways, and how the Impo should be able to also change the type of energy.
Time skip
Ace had spent some weeks with you. He had trained to use his new abilities. And gotten information about the marineford war, after he died. He wanted to become stronger so that he could beat Blackbeard and avenge his father and fallen brothers. He had asked why you didn't revive Pops, and you simply explained he was old and planned on dying there and go out like the awesome man he was. You also explained that he went out like a man to soon and should be grateful due to his second chance.
Ace had a problem though, a huge one. The problem called N/n. Well it was most likely that AI Virus fault. So what, was his problem? Well it was extremely hard to see you as just another friend. In the beginning, also his first meal with you, Virus had asked a question which had led to an awfully embarrassing moment. But that moment had made it hard for Ace to see you as a friend and not a lover. And the more time I spend with them I fall harder, dammit N/n! Maybe I should . . . .  maybe I shouldn't  . . . . I'm gonna do it!
Ace walked into a sector in sector 4 that were especially made to look like just another home. "Morning N/n." He said as he walked into the kitchen. You stood at the stove making some kind of breakfast. "Morning Ace." You answered smiling. Something that amused Ace was how much you had. Like your HQ had, just in sector 4 an inside garden, a castle section, a normal house (aka where you two were now.) and of course all the places you built to just have fun like a pool and a dance club. You had said it was for your free time and that Virus was technically the one who built while you just designed.
Then of course sector 1 was more like a parking place for all the awesome traveling stuff you had built, different kinds of ships, submarines, stuff you called cars and planes! Then sector 2 was a construction place, where you could easily produce clothes, machines, robots, stuff for fun and probably had like endless possibility's. And sector 3 had fields powered with solar lamps and all the vegetables, berries and fruits that tasted amazing. Sector 3 also had a farm with all kinds of animals for meat, but surprisingly a lot were endangered species you protected. Then there were of course the arena he had trained on. Apparently you built it for testing soldier robots and different kinds of weapons.
When he had asked if you planned on taking over the world you said you just felt like trying to build it seeing how far you could go. Sector 5 had your incredible lab, the same place he had first woken up in. Though he wasn't really allowed to be there.
"Um, Ace you there?" You asked, finding it a little creepy how he got trapped in a thought while starring at you. Ace shook his head and then notice all the food you placed on the table for him. One second later Ace was digging in the food as if Luffy was there. And after a minute he feel down in the food sleeping.
Giggling, you went up to his sleeping form. "Virus, never tell Ace about this."  You said in a strict tone. Then you reached out and started to pet his soft hair. Then you couldn't help but to near him with your nose sniffing on him a little. He smelled so good like some sweet fruit or berry. Ace jerked up and found it a little creepy how close you had been the past times he'd woken up after fallen asleep like this.
Ace was training, thinking about new attacks, you looked now and then, but for the most part you drew on your tablet creating one of your new ideas. It's now or never Ace! Maybe I should do it tomorrow. No! You said that yesterday to! "Uh, N/n?" He called out, wandering up to you. "Yeah?" You looked at him and he got awfully nervous. "So, um, uh, well I, eh, Maybe we could, like maybe I could, uh-um, what if we could go to this place, together?" Ace stuttered out. Stop sounding so stupid!!!
"Where do you wanna go?" You asked confused. "No, I wanna take you- to a place." He answered quickly though he still wanted to slap himself in the face. You just looked at him in confusion. "Ugh, Virus help me explain." Ace grumbled, covering his face with his hands, hiding his beat-red face. "N/n I believe what Ace is trying to say is that he wants to go back to his brothers and leave you." Virus explained. "Yeah . . ." said Ace, then his eyes widened, realizing Virus did not explain it right, at all!!!
"Oh . . . I understa . . . !" "NO! I'm trying to ask you out not leave you!!!" Ace yelled interrupting you. "Like a, a, a date?" You asked feeling how your whole body got warm of happiness. "Maybe-" Ace answered dragging out the e. "Oh, sure." You answered blushing light. "Wait, really?" Ace asked. "Yeah, let me just go to my wardrobe and change into something more fitting. What's fitting? And I also wanna shower." You smiled. "I also shower and change and then we meet in sector 1 and then we go." Ace answered.
You and Ace hurried to sector 4. Showering and changing into casual clothes. (You decide) Ace and you meet in sector 1. Damn was he handsome, he was wearing some clothes you designed for him and he looked stunning. You two entered your main submarine.
Time skip
The submarine rose above water and you and Ace walked out. Ace held a huge basket and in his other were your hand. The submarine dived down in the sea again, you had told Virus to wait for you and Ace under sea. After minutes of walking you and Ace came to a cliff with a beautiful view. But what made the island even more unique was the cherry blossom trees growing all around. Ace lifted out a picnic blanket and fixed, letting you sit on the blanket while he shoveled out a lot of food.
"Did, did you make this?" You asked fidgeting a bit on your clothes, blushing. So far had you or Virus done all the food. "Yes, and before you get scarred, Virus helped me." Ace said fast. "Why, are you normally bad at cooking?" You asked giggling. "Yes, well I can grill meat." He answered.
The food tasted delicious, you and Ace spoke and had fun for hours. And deep into the night . . . . You and Ace stood at the cliff looking at the stars, his arm around your waist and yours around his. "Ace please call me Y/n." You said after awhile of comfortable silence. "Why?" He asked confused. "It's my real name." You said softly hugging Ace with both arms. "Y/n is the most beautiful name I ever heard." Ace said returning the hug. He took your hands and leaned in close to your lips. "may I kiss you?" He asked as a fluttering feeling in his stomach grew. "Only if I can kiss you back." You answered.
Smirking Ace connected his lips with yours. It felt passionate and wonderful. He pressed his body closer to yours and hugged you tightly. Your lips separated for air and then went right back at it. When you disconnected again for air he asked. "Will you be mine, and will you let me be yours?"
"Yes."

“Luffy, if you keep elbowing me in the ribs, I will kick you in the stomach!” (y/n) shouted at him, trying to shove him off of her, but to no avail. Luffy gave her a hardened stare as she pushed him against the one of the walls of the box. Of course, she would shove him though, he was practically on top of her; his body in between her legs and his arms on either side of her head. It was a very compromising and intimate position that (y/n) was not used to, especially with Luffy.

Hello! I saw you posting requests so I assume they're open? In case I'm wrong, please ignore this 😅
But well, I saw that you have a couple of love triangle and poly Ace x reader x Sabo stories and I had a blast reading them! But also, they made me think.
Would you mind writing a fluff modern AU where Ace likes (female) Reader since they were kids and Sabo teases the heck out of his brother for it, but is also his biggest supporter to comfess and get together with their best friend already?
I'm so glad you like my Ace x reader x Sabo poly stories. They're my favorite boys. For obvious reasons, this is an Ace fic, it was also super cute. I hope you like it!
Word Count: 1630
Running a hand through his hair, Ace tilted his head back. It was the ‘anniversary’ of the day he’d met you. 12 years ago today, he’d bumped into you while running down the halls causing trouble. It was shortly before class started and you’d been the new girl headed for your first class. He’d just set up a prank in the teacher’s lounge and was hoping to get away before someone caught him. Thankfully you were as mischievous as he was and had helped him get away. The teachers had exited the lounge, covered in silly string and immediately pinned it on him, knowing how much of a troublemaker he was and suspicious of how close he was to the teacher’s lounge. You’d given the string covered teachers your biggest puppy dog eyes and told them, in your saddest voice, that he had been leading you to your class and to ‘please don’t get mad at him’. When he’d asked why you’d lied to them, you simply stated that seeing your new teachers covered in multicolored silly string had been funny and that you could tell you were going to like him. From then on, the two of you protected each other. You’d protect him from getting caught by the teachers and he’d protect you from the kids on the playground. While the teachers suspected he was still causing trouble, with you at his side, they couldn’t ever get any proof. Naturally, he’d introduced you to Sabo and, later, Luffy. While you were close to all three boys, you hadn’t joined in their brotherhood as the only sister, confusing the poor boy. At the time, he’d wanted you to be a part of their special bond, wanted you to know how important you were to him, but now, he was actually kind of happy you hadn’t.
It had been years ago, as the two of you entered high school that he’d started feeling… different about you. He noticed different things about you; like how pretty your eyes were, how silky and smooth your hair always looked, the lusciousness of your lips. Had you always been so beautiful? It hadn’t taken long for him, or Sabo, to notice his feelings towards you, something Sabo enjoyed repeatedly mocking his brother for. In truth, Sabo was absolutely rooting for his brother’s love life, Ace deserved to have the girl of his dreams and to be happy, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t tease him.
Sitting on the back of Ace’s motorcycle, you couldn’t help but smile, your arms wrapped tightly around him. You loved riding on his bike with him and not just because riding on a motorcycle was fun and exciting. You loved how close it allowed you to be to Ace, loved how you got to hold him, feeling the heat radiating from his body, his scent wafting off of him, your heart pounding as he raced down the streets. It seemed like everything that made Ace, Ace could be found in being on the bike. From his wild, carefree spirit in the way he sped down the roads to his borderline recklessness in how he took sharp turns. His exciting, exhilarating way that he would skid to a stop sideways, to the sweet way he’d always make sure you were okay and that your helmet was always in top condition. The two of you were practically inseparable, almost always found together. If Ace forgot his phone, you were the first person Sabo called, if your parents were wondering where you were, Ace was the person they turned to. Hence why Sabo gave him so much shit about his crush on you.
Walking inside their shared apartment, Sabo grinned, seeing Ace by himself for once, eating a batch of what looked like homemade cookies.
“Oooo, sweets from your girlfriend?” Sabo asked, giving Ace a knowing look.
“What? No! They’re from Y/n! You know I don’t have a girlfriend.” Ace shot back, glaring at his brother as he stuffed another cookie in his mouth.
“So yes, cookies from your girlfriend.” Sabo teased, setting his things down as Ace glared harder.
“She’s not my girlfriend!” Ace growled, even though he knew that Sabo knew that he had a crush on you.
“Really? Could have fooled me with how often you two are together. I think even the barista at her coffee shop thinks you two are dating by now. Though I suppose if you’re not dating her, that’s good news for me. For a lot of guys out there, really. A beauty like her? I’m sure any man would kill for a piece of that.” Sabo said teasingly, even as Ace jumped up from the couch, a furious look on his face.
“The fuck does that mean?! I swear if you’re thinking of asking her out, I’ll kill you in your sleep!” Ace said, the look on his face one of pure anger as he glared at his brother.
“Alright, alright, I won’t ask her out, but you can’t stop me from a little flirting and if she asks me, I’m not saying no, that’s her choice and since you haven’t asked her out, she’s free to date whoever she pleases.” Sabo said, continuing to rile his brother up.
“Over my dead body! You’ll stay the hell away from her or I’ll-” “You’ll what? You can’t control her and it’s not like you’re her boyfriend, although again, you could have fooled me.” Sabo said with a chuckle. Ace was up and over the couch, chasing the blond around as Sabo laughed. He loved when he riled Ace up enough that the boy would chase him in an attempt to kick his ass. He only caught Sabo about half the time and they never did much more than a ‘light’ punch to the shoulder, but it was all in good fun, they were brothers after all. A knock on the door drew them out of their play fighting, Ace’s face lighting up as he scrambled for the door. The look on the boy’s face told Sabo everything he needed to know. You had been planning on coming over and Ace couldn’t wait to see you.
It was a few weeks later, as Ace munched on some brownies that Ace considered what his brother had said. The two of you did hang out a lot and people had thought you were dating before. If you two were giving off those sort of vibes, didn’t that mean they had a point? Besides, he couldn’t deny his attraction to you; he’d known how he felt about you for years, but he’d always worried about if you felt the same way. He was a troublemaker and a punk, he wasn’t particularly intelligent nor did he make a particularly large amount of money. Wouldn’t you be better off with someone else? At the same time, the idea of you getting with someone else infuriated him, to the point where he’d scared off dozens of guys before. Looking down at the, now demolished, brownies, he dusted his fingers of the crumbs before pulling out his phone, he needed to talk to you. Shooting off a text, he took a deep breath. His brother had a point, he needed to tell you how he felt.
Ace squirmed as the two of you sat on the couch for movie night. He hadn’t been able to just tell you he needed to talk to you, so he’d invited you over for a ‘movie night’ and hoped to talk to you at some point. Sighing, you grabbed the remote, hitting pause before turning to him.
“Ace, you’ve been wiggling like you’ve got ants in your pants since we sat down. Not only do I feel every shift, which is highly distracting, but it also makes it very hard to get comfortable. So what’s got you so restless?” you asked, putting your hands on your hips. He swore his heart dropped into his stomach. You’d noticed, you sounded annoyed, he was going to have to tell you how he felt. His heart was pounding out of his chest and his stomach was in so many knots that he felt sick.
“W-well, it’s… you see, there’s something I… you’re…” Ace took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down, “Y/n… we’ve, no, I… fuck, why is this so hard.” Ace ran his hand through his hair, closing his eyes and taking a few deep breaths, “Would… would you go out with me? Not like friends, but like, go out with me?” Ace asked finally, his eyes squeezed shut, afraid of your rejection. You giggled, putting your hands on Ace’s shoulders before pulling him close, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek.
“I’d love that more than I can say. Maybe this Saturday at our favorite restaurant? Or I hear there’s a fair in town. I’ve always wanted a guy to win one of those stupid, cheap, little toys they hand out.” you said with a sweet smile, Ace staring at you in wonderment.
“I… the fair sounds great. I’ll win you the best stupid, cheap toy they have.” he said with a smile, kissing your forehead before pulling you close, “Though I uh, can we finish the movie? I’d um, I’d like to actually watch it with you and get to hold you close.” he muttered, nuzzling his head into the crook of your neck.
“Alright, but we’re going to have to start from the beginning because I missed so much due to your wiggling.” you teased as you grabbed the remote again. Honestly, it was just an excuse to spend more time in his arms, but neither of you cared, it was simply nice to be snuggled up like this.

Hi, it's me again. I'm not sure if you'll accept two requests from the same person buttttttt I love the request you did for me soooo muchhhhh (it's the How cliche and Second Time Around). My heart literally went doki-doki reading both parts!!
May I request something like a sequel of that where Ace is just doting on Reader with a sprinkle of past angst Ace that was miserable when Reader is gone. Happy ending please, hopefully something like Reader finally sees that Ace has changed, but I'm sure whatever you come up is great! female!reader (with NSWF if possible)
Feel free to skip this request if you are not comfortable with it. I'm already so lucky that you made my request into 2 parts.
Thank you so much, and again I love your writing so muchhhhh. Best wishes!!
Hey again! So hilarious thing, this almost ended up being 2 parts as well 😆. I'll accept as many requests as you desire to send in so long as my ask box is open. I'm so glad you liked the first two and I'm glad that you like my writing.

Running his hands through his hair, Ace sighed. It had been 3 years since the both of you had been sent back, it was almost back to the same day you’d… no, he couldn’t think about that. He hadn’t told you, but he still had nightmares about that day. Hearing the sounds of tires screeching, the blare of a horn. It had only taken a minute or two for him to realize that he should at least apologize for something, you were his friend. So he’d gone after you. He’d heard the horn and tires, heard screaming and shouting. When he’d shoved his way through to see what happened. He still woke up in a cold sweat, the sight of your blood leaking onto the asphalt still burned into the backs of his eyes. Since the day the two of you talked, he hadn’t spent a day without you if he could avoid it. While the two of you were sort of dating, he could tell that you were still upset with him. You were still colder and more closed off to him than you’d been the first time, still held him at arm’s length. Feelings that stabbed at his heart every time. He couldn’t say he didn’t deserve it. After ignoring you for so long, the fight you’d had… he’d gotten you killed, it was his fault. The tears started to fall once more, despite his best efforts.
Looking at a picture of you and Ace, you couldn’t help the melancholy look in your eyes. Ace had done everything in his power to make things up to you, done everything he could to show you how he felt about you. A single flower taped to your locker once a week, almost always by your side, asking you out on dates whenever he got the chance, holding your hand constantly, his arms wrapped around you whenever possible. It was clear that something had happened after you died, something in him had changed. He didn’t tell you much, just that he realized how much he loved you, how much you meant to him. It was obvious there was more to it than that, but you didn’t press it, not with the look he got in his eyes, as if talking about it would cause him to break. The anniversary of your death was coming up. 5 months from now, you’d died and been sent back. As hard as you tried not to, each year you couldn’t help but lock yourself in your room and sob. The memories still haunted you, of Ace not loving you, of running out of his apartment, of the fact that you’d died. Taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes. Part of you wanted desperately to hold him, pepper his cheeks in kisses and hold him close, but another part of you was afraid, afraid of what had happened last time. Still, he’d changed, he was so… so… doting!
It was in a few days, the day when you’d lock yourself in your room. He always hated this day, always hated that he couldn’t be there for you and, worse yet, that he was the cause of it. He knew why you were locking yourself away. To be completely honest, he wanted to do the same thing, wanted to just lock himself away as he beat himself up for what he’d done. Not that he didn’t beat himself up on a daily basis anyway, but that was beside the point. Knocking on your door, he swallowed hard. He still got nervous whenever he came over, his heart catching in his throat, palms sweating and shaking, stomach fluttering. He expected that at any moment you’d leave him again, that you’d reject him for everything he’d done. So he clung to you like his life depended on it, so afraid to lose you again. Opening the door, you smiled at him. It was your usual small, somewhat fond smile, but it was a smile and that’s all that Ace cared about.
“Hey, beautiful. I thought I’d bring you some take-out. Even got your favorite.” he said softly, holding up a small bag. You opened the door wider, inviting him into your apartment.
“Thanks, Ace. I was actually starting to get hungry.” you said softly, grabbing utensils for both of you as he set everything up on the table.
“Anything for you. If you need anything else, anything at all. Just let me know, alright?” he asked, pressing a soft kiss against your forehead. Swallowing hard, you looked up at him, hesitating for a moment.
“There… is one thing you can do for me.” you said after a moment, the young man immediately perking up.
“Anything at all, Princess.” Ace said almost immediately.
“There’s a… day coming up. I know you know. The day I…” the words caught in your throat as you tried to stay calm. Likewise, Ace’s heart was aching, praying that he wasn’t trembling, “do… you think you could come over that day? I… I’d like it if you were there to just… just hold me.” you said softly, your heart pounding in your chest. Ace’s arms were around you in an instant, a wave of relief washing over him.
“Of course I’ll be here. Anything for you.” he said softly, the two of you taking a moment to just hold each other. Ace’s heart soared, it felt like you were finally opening back up to him again.
Ace sat on your bed with you, simply holding you. It’s all you’d asked for so far and he was more than happy to oblige. You’d asked him to stay with you today, he’d do anything you wanted him to. He was soon brought out of his thoughts by your hand on his cheek, making him look at you. You wanted to say something to him, something to tell him how much you loved him, how much you cared for him. Still, the only thing you could do was pull him into a passionate kiss, your hands running over his chest, making a shiver run down his spine. Pulling away, he looked into your eyes, a million questions running through his head. The look in your eyes, however, had him diving in for another kiss, another, then another, until he was left breathing hard as he held you close. His hands ran up your back under your shirt as your fingers danced across his chest under his own shirt. Pulling back slightly, he quickly removed the article of clothing, barely registering you doing the same until he looked down to see you in a lacey bra. Looking once more into your eyes, he saw everything he needed as his lips crashed against yours again, reaching behind you and unfastening the undergarment. His mind spun as you both removed piece after piece of clothing until you lay bare beneath him, both of you breathless as he hovered over you, his hands caressing your body. You were the most beautiful thing in the world to him right now.
“Please, Ace. I… I want you.” you said softly, noticing the hesitation in his eyes as you held his face in your hands. The sound of you calling out to him had him shivering as he slowly moved his hands downwards, gently running two fingers over your wet slit. Softly, gently, he slid a single finger into your wet pussy, his breath catching in his throat at the sound that left yours. As much as he wanted to just let go and drown himself in your body, he held back, adding another finger as he slid them in and out of your tight body. You were so warm, so wet, the sounds leaving your mouth were melodious, it was all driving him crazy as he added a third finger, biting his lip as he tried to be gentle. Putting a hand on his cheek, you made him look at you. You were out of breath, your eyes filled with desire as you swallowed hard.
“Ace, please. More.” you said softly, sending a bolt of lust coursing through his veins. His fingers sped up, curling, the pads of his fingers pressing against your sweet spot, drawing a loud moan from your throat. His fingers felt so good! You wanted more! Whimpering, you pulled him in for another passionate kiss, moaning he continued to curl his fingers inside you, pressing against your sweet spot again and again, making a coil tighten in your stomach. His fingers thrust in and out of you faster and faster, bringing you to your climax as you moaned his name, gripping his shoulders.
“Are you certain you want this, princess? I won’t be upset if you don’t.” he said, pulling his fingers out of your dripping cunt, making you whine at the loss.
“Yes, I want you, Ace. Please. I’ve never wanted anything more. I love you, I’ve always loved you, I always will love you.” you said pulling him into yet another passionate make out session. Ace groaned into the kiss, sliding the head of his cock up and down your wet folds, your slick covering his dick. Pressing his cock inside you, he couldn’t help the moan that escaped his throat, met with a moan of your own. You were so tight, so hot, so responsive. He wrapped one arm around your waist, holding you close, the other still propping him up as he thrust in and out of your body.
“Oh fuck, Y/n. Feels so good.” Ace moaned, thrusts speeding up, unable to help himself as he buried his head into the crook of your neck. This feeling was like nothing he’d ever felt before. Even the girl’s he’d fucked before couldn’t compare to being inside you, to holding you, to just being with you. Your arms wrapped around his neck, your legs wrapping around his waist, pulling him closer as you moaned his name. Hearing you moan his name was like a shot of pure ecstasy to his brain, overwhelming him as he began to pound in and out of your tight cunt. It was so good, you were so good. All self restraint went out the window as he pistoned his hips in and out again and again, panting as he shook in pleasure. Why did it take him so long to realize he loved you? To hold you close like this? He should have figured out how much you meant to him sooner, to take you, to make love to you, to make you his. That thought had another shot of pleasure hitting him, stronger than the last as he tumbled over the edge with a loud moan of your name. The feeling of ribbon after ribbon of cum filling you dragged you down with him, desperately clinging to him as you shook with pleasure. Neither of you were sure how long it was before you were coherent enough to think straight.
“I’m sorry it took so long to realize I love you, you mean everything to me.” Ace said softly, still holding you close, brushing a lock of hair out of your face.
“I’m sorry for not telling you sooner so we could be together sooner.” you said, holding his face in your hands once more. You pulled him into one more sweet kiss as he gently adjusted the two of you so you were lying on top of him.
“Better late than never. I promise, I’ll never let you go ever again.” he said, nuzzling against the top of your head. You just smiled, resting your head against his chest.
“Good, because I’m not letting you go either.” you said softly, the two of you simply enjoying the moment together. The anniversary of your second chance at life and love, the anniversary of the day when Ace realized he loved you, the anniversary of the moment you found happiness.

Second Time Around
The second part to 'How Cliche'
Warnings: angst, fluff, hurt/comfort
Word Count: 1910
Taking a deep breath, you entered your old high school. It was going to be weird, going to high school again. Especially since you remembered everything from the first time. All the things you learned, all the mathematics, english, and history courses, everything was still up there in your brain. You could get top grades without trying! Maybe do some college prep courses to advance your college career? It couldn’t hurt and it might save you some money when it came time for college. Dodging around other students, you smiled to yourself. While this hadn’t been what you’d wanted, it did have some benefits. Like avoiding accidents, changing your life for the better, and keeping good on your promise not to fall in love with Ace again. Taking a deep breath, you turned a corner. You’d originally gone straight, heading for the cafeteria because you’d forgotten to eat breakfast. This time, you’d woken up early, had breakfast, you could skip that this time. It was where you’d met Ace, bumping into him when he’d hurried to grab some breakfast. Apparently he’d slept in that day as well but could eat enough for 5 full grown men! After he’d accidentally caused you to spill your breakfast, he’d paid for a new one for you. He’d been so nice to you, and after finding out you had the same homeroom, you’d become fast friends. But you were going to change that this time. You weren’t going to get involved with him, you weren’t going to make friends with him, you weren’t going to fall for him. Entering your classroom, you scanned the seats. Ace liked to sit next to the window so he could look outside or enjoy the fresh air. Walking to the very opposite side, you sat down, taking out your things. It was a short while later that Ace entered the room, looking around, an excited look on his face. Glancing over at the windows, his smile dropped before doing one more look, smiling as his eyes landed on you. Walking over, he set his stuff down on the desk next to yours, surprising you. He… he always sat at the window. After rummaging through his things, he turned to you.
“Hey uh, sorry to bother you, but I think I lost my pencil, you got an extra?” he asked, giving you that same sunny smile he’d given you in the past. Sighing, you reached into your bag and handed him one without a word. He’d lost his pencil the first time too, making you giggle when you’d handed him one the first time. Ace grinned as he gently took it from you, his hand gently brushing against you, only for you to pull away suddenly, as if his touch burned.
“You should be more careful with your things.” you said, getting out the things you’d need for the class.
“Heheh, yeah, my brother’s always saying the same thing. I’m Ace, by the way.” he said, holding his hand out to you. You glanced down at it before looking back up to him.
“Y/n.” you said simply before turning away, missing the disappointed look on his face. You silent thanked whatever power that be that the teacher chose that moment to walk in and start class, forcing him to focus on the class instead of on you. All you could hope for now was that he’d leave you alone.
Walking down the hall, your eye twitched with irritation.
“So then my little brother, Luffy, he’s adorable, but he’s such a dumbass, so he-” “Don’t you have somewhere else to be?” you asked, cutting him off, surprising him. He’d been walking in front of you, his hands behind his head as he walked backwards, seemingly without a care in the world. Then again, Ace never seemed to have a care in the world. Sure, that was mostly just a front he put on, the young man actually having a number of insecurities, but to anyone who didn’t know him, he was simply a carefree young man.
“Oh, uh, no, not really. I was um, I, uh…” Ace stood there, his words lost as he stared at you. Perhaps it was only natural. Most people were so nice to him, he had so much charisma, people either flocked to him, or were at least nice to him, but you seemed to be pushing him away, “I uh… sorry… sorry for bothering you.” he said softly, stuffing his hands in his pockets and walking away, looking rather dejected. Sighing in relief, you continued on to your next class. You didn’t know why he seemed to be trying to be your friend, but it was annoying you how much he persisted despite how cold you were to him.
This continued on for months, the young man always trying to sit next to you. If you were by the door, he was by the door, if you were at the window, he was at the window. If you were up front where the teacher couldn’t ignore you… he wasn’t able to fall asleep without the teacher getting on his case. But it couldn’t end there, oh no, he followed you everywhere. Lunch? Well, guess he’s not eating with his friends. Roof top, classroom, cafeteria, front lawn, he’d even sat near the girl’s bathroom! He’d made sure not to sit too close so as to not look like a creep, but he was still there! On your way home? Well, to be fair you did live in the same direction, but if you walked, he walked, if you took the bus, he took the bus, if you called a friend or your parents for a ride? Oh, his poor sick brother needs him home right away. Lying little shit. Looking down at the valentine’s day rose and chocolates, you couldn’t help but tighten your hold around it, the stem bending in your fist as your eyes filled with anger. They’d been inside your locker, a cute pink card attached to the box of chocolates. It wasn’t hard for you to recognize his handwriting and the little fire stickers were a dead give away. What was wrong with him? He’d never paid this much attention to you the first time! It took all you had to not break down into tears as you slammed your locker shut before heading to the girls bathroom. Despite your promise to not fall for him again, you found the pain of your feelings for him persisting. Part of you still cared for him, still yearned for him, but you couldn’t go down that road again, it only led to pain. Wiping the tears away, you tried to put yourself back together, tried to make it look like you hadn’t been crying. Why was this happening? You’d been cold to him this entire time, why was he still chasing after you? Once you’d gathered yourself together again, you left the bathroom, heading for your classroom. You honestly didn’t want to go, but you didn’t have many options, so you reluctantly entered the room, finding the only available seat being next to Ace, almost as if he’d saved it for you. Sitting down, you gave a dejected sigh. You really weren’t in the mood to deal with him, but it looked like you had no choice as he smiled at you.
“You know, today’s Valentine’s day.” he said sweetly, giving you a soft smile. It wasn’t his usual large, sunny grin, but there was a gentle compassion in it that you’d never seen from him before.
“Yeah, I know. Some idiot left me a lame rose and chocolate. They even broke into my locker to do it.” you said, glancing at him out of the corner of your eye. He looked crestfallen as he stared at you for a moment.
“Really? I think it’s kind of romantic? I mean, yeah, breaking into your locker probably wasn’t the smartest move, but they clearly feel something for you.” he said, his smile returning as he tried again.
“Yeah, well maybe I’m not interested in anyone right now.” you said bitterly. Ace’s heart clenched at your words.
“Oh come on, there’s got to be someone you have your eye on.” He pressed, making you grip your pencil tightly.
“No, actually. In fact, the last guy I liked turned out to be a jerk who never liked me back. Now leave me alone.” you said, even colder than usual. Ace was quiet for the rest of the class, the rest of the day, really. It was a couple weeks before he tried again, a note slipped into your locker, an apology. Repeated lines of ‘I’m sorry’, apologizing for thing after thing, the ones at the bottom were the ones that had you here, in front of the door to the rooftop. ‘I broke your heart once, I thought this might be my second chance to correct things, to show you that I love you more than I realized. The day you were hit was the day that my world crumbled and I realized what I had lost. I know you’re mad at me and you have every right to be. I was an ass who didn’t appreciate the girl who was right in front of me, but please, please meet me on the rooftop. If this is truly it, then let me have one last chance.’ Opening the door, you took a deep breath, looking over at the young man looking out at the school yard below. He was leaning against the fencing that surrounded the roof, a melancholy look on his face.
“Hey… thanks for… thanks for coming.” he said softly, not even turning to look at you. His fingers tightened around the steel of the fence, the look in his eyes far away, “I know you remember too. You wouldn’t have been so cold to me if you didn’t remember. I thought… I thought I could make it up to you this time. I could show you how wrong I was, but you pushed me away… and you have every right to do so. But please, I’m so sorry. I was an idiot the first time around. I… I didn’t realize until you were gone, until you weren’t by my side anymore, but I love you, Y/n. I love you so much. Please… please don’t push me away anymore.” Ace turned to look at you, a few tears running down his cheeks. You stared at him for a moment, your heart pounding in your chest. This was everything you’d ever wanted the first time and everything you swore not to fall for this time, yet your feet seemed to move on their own. Caressing his cheek, similar tears ran down your own cheeks. Your heart ached, but you couldn’t stop it, you’d thought that the feelings had gone away, but here they were again as you pulled him to a soft, sweet kiss. His arms wrapped around your waist, holding you as if you’d disappear. Nothing was said between you two, nothing needed to be said, not yet. Right now all either of you needed was the other’s embrace. Just like those stupid romance novels, a girl had sworn not to fall for the male again, only to find herself in his arms. That was okay though, you didn’t mind, it was just nice to hold him like this. To have him hold you like this.

Hi Astra, こんにちは!!, I saw that you are open for requests so I'm hoping you can do this one. I found you on Ao3 recently and I’m in love with your writing!!
Can I request an angst with a fluff ending of Ace and fem!Reader where reader is broken hearted for Ace not recognizing her love for him and always goes for other girls. They have a fight and reader gets mad and runs outside and in the heat of the moment, she was careless and got into an accident which she did not make it.
Time rewinds back to the moment she first met Ace (basically reader has a second chance in life but she does not start again at birth but starts again when she first met Ace). This time reader is over with Ace and tries to avoid him for a better life, but Ace’a attitude changes. He is pinning for her hard.
A fluff ending where Ace also remembers his past life and he was actually devastated and only realized his feeling after reader’s accident, which cause him to try hard for this second to make up for his mistake.
Thank you so much! It’s absolutely okay if you are not comfortable with this, I just want to give it a shot! I also hope this is not violating any of the rule you have (I double checked but I’m still scared) Best wishes to you and your writing blog!
Okay, so I have to split this into 2 parts because otherwise it would go over 2k words and I don't go over 2k words per piece unless it's a commission. There are reasons for that but that's not the point. Also! I love this trope! I've been reading some Korean webcomics (translated to english) that are along these lines and I absolutely f*#&ing love them! I've been trying to figure out how to write this idea forever! So thank you for sending this in!

Watching him flirt with more girls, you couldn’t help but feel your heart break more and more. He was always going for all these other girls, short flings or one night stands, but never something more. You’d loved him for some time, you knew you loved him. Not a crush, not some passing fancy, but love, actual love. The things you’d have done for him, the things you had done for him. Nothing illegal, mind you, but definately not things a person with a simple crush would have done. For the time, you’d just sought to be his friend, asked for nothing more than his friendship, but it was getting harder and harder to watch him flirt with all these women when you cared so much for him. The number of times you’d tried to tell him you loved him; the number of times you’d tried to get him to realize your feelings. But he didn’t, you’d done everything short of outright shouting that you loved him, but he just seemed to ignore you, ignore your feelings for him. Hell, you’d actually asked him out on a date, actual ‘will you go out on a date with me?’ His response? ‘Just a date between friends? Sounds great!’ Was he fucking dense? Did he do it on purpose? Turning away from the movie like scene, you wrapped your arms around you, glancing at other memories that surrounded you, lining either side of the glowing pathway you stood on. In your anger and heartbreak, you had been careless. Turning towards another scene, you let a few tears fall. Your last moments with him, shouting at each other, telling him how you really felt as you yelled at him. The look on his face when you’d told him. A mix of feelings in his eyes. Anger, annoyance, shock, confusion. Yet you didn’t see the one emotion you’d wanted to see. You didn’t see love. Compassion, longing, affection, anything that would have made things better or given you hope. The next ‘video’ was blurred; you knew why it was blurred. Your tears had obscured your vision as you ran out of the apartment, as you ran down the street. Maybe if you hadn’t been careless enough to run across a busy street, maybe if you had been paying more attention, you wouldn’t be in this situation. But you were. All you remembered was the sound of a horn, the sudden jolt, and the feeling of your feet leaving the ground. You didn’t remember pain, you didn’t remember hitting the asphalt, you didn’t remember the screams. Just a sound and suddenly you were here. Watching memories as you walked further along the path. It didn’t take a genius to figure out what had happened. Didn’t take a genius to figure out where you were. Was this the ‘life flashing before your eyes’ that people had described? Maybe when you were near death it happened faster. But you were dead dead. Not near dead.
“Tch, how cliche. A girl dies shortly after getting her heartbroken. As she dies she swears that if she could do it over again, she wouldn’t fall in love with him again. Like something out of some stupid romance novel. But I’m not coming back to life, I don’t want to come back to life and I doubt anyone cares enough about me to bring me back.” you said sadly, arms still wrapped around yourself.
“Are you saying you don’t want to try again?” a voice asked, drawing your attention. Looking over you saw what looked like a little boy, “Cause I could, you know? I could totally bring you back. You think there isnt someone who loves you enough? There is! Someone asked me to bring you back!” he said with a giggle. You looked at him in confusion, who was this little boy.
“I thought Death was supposed to be some skeleton in a black robe with a scythe.” you scoffed, turning away from him, continuing down the glowing path.
“Hehehe, you think I’m death? Of course I’m not death, silly. I’m da-da-da-DA! A PHOENIX!” the boy said, spinning around and striking a pose. You chuckled, the sound turning into a full on laugh at the boy.
“A phoenix? Really? Like the mythical creature? Please, I may be dead, but I’m not gulliable. Besides, why would a phoenix be here for a dead girl? I thought phoenix’s came back to life, not brought people back to life.” you said, walking past the boy. Said boy huffed, floating after you, his arms crossed as he pouted.
“Actually phoenix’s can do all sorts of things, but if people knew we could bring others back to life, they’d hunt us to extinction! Not that they didn’t try anyway. I guess the allure of immortality is just too great to ignore.” he said with a nonchalant shrug. You just rolled your eyes, the memories stopping but the path continuing onwards.
“But I was saying, there’s someone who wants you back! I told them I’d bring you back! So are you sure you don’t want to go?” the boy asked, giving you a pleading look. The puppy dog eyes had you looking away, the boy looking persuasively cute.
“I already said I didn’t. Why are you asking. Just tell the person who asked you that I said no.” you said, trying to ignore him.
“Oh come on! Somebody loved you enough to try and bring you back to life! Doesn’t that mean something to you?” he asked, his hands behind his head as he floated on his back.
“No. I already had to deal with that once, I’m not going through it again.” you said irritably, starting to walk faster. The boy sighed and shook his head, stopping and standing up.
“Too bad, that makes my job soooo much harder.” he said, holding his hand up, palm facing towards you. You turned around, about to ask him what he meant when a flash of light blinded you.
Opening you eyes, you blinked a couple of times and looked around. The sun was shining in through a window, your window. You easily recognized where you were, you were back in your room, well, sort of. It was definately your room but not your room at your apartment. This was back when you were a teenager, back with your parents. Looking around, you tried to find your phone, your brow furrowing when you found it. You’d had the latest model, this was… old. You’d had this phone when you were 15 or 16. Eyes widening, you remembered what the boy had said. Scrambling out of bed, you sprinted down the hall to the bathroom, slamming the door behind you and looking in the mirror. You looked so young, like you had back then, like when you were a teenager. But that made no sense, you were in your early 20s, why did you look like this? Fumbling with your phone, you looked at the calendar, eyes nearly popping out of your head. This couldn’t be right! This… this had to be a mistake! It was the day you and Ace had met, you were 16 when you’d met. Meaning the girl staring back at you in the mirror. Swallowing hard, you walked back to your room, hoping you weren’t shaking. You hadn’t wanted it, but the boy had given you a second chance. But not just a second chance at life, finding yourself in a hospital room, but a second chance from the beginning… how… cliche.

All he’d wanted to do was show off a little, show you what he’d been working on. You may already be dating, but he loved to impress you, to hear you congratulate him and tell him how amazing he was. He loved your praise, loved it when you told him that he was ‘the best in the world’. Then he’d pull you close and hold you. Sometimes for just a short while, sometimes for over an hour. Sometimes he’d fall asleep for a nap with you, sometimes he’d take you with him to go do the next thing. But now you were sitting on the ground crying, holding your injury from where his hit had connected a little too hard. The two of you had trained together before, had sparred with each other before, but he’d always pulled his punches, always been careful about hitting you, giving you what amounted to light love taps rather than full hits. The most he ever did was light bruising, maybe a little soreness, but now you were legitimately hurt. Immediately you were in his arms as he ran to the infirmary with you, his eyes panicked and worried as he set you down. How could he have done this to you? How could he have been so reckless and stupid?!
Luffy
Luffy rarely, if ever, looked so defeated, so downcast. You couldn’t think of a single time where he’d looked so… disheartened. Chopper quickly inspected your nose, sighing as he stopped the bleeding. Miraculously, it wasn’t broken or fractured, but it would hurt for days, it might start bleeding a little as it healed, but it wasn’t broken. Probably a result of Luffy still pulling his punches. Even if he hadn’t been more careful, even though he’d hit you, it hadn’t been full strength, it hadn’t been as hard as it could have been. Even still, he couldn’t stop beating himself up, silently promising never to train or spar with you again. He couldn’t risk hurting you again. Looking up at you, his eyes watered.
“I’m… I’m sorry Y/n, I didn’t mean to, please, please don’t hate me. I’m sorry. I love you, I promise.” Luffy whimpered once you were both out of the infirmary. You smiled lightly as you caressed his cheek, giving him a soft peck on the lips.
“I could never hate you, Luffy. You’re my world, I love you so much. So long as you still want me, I’ll still be your pirate queen.” you said, making the boy smile, his arms wrapping around you as he pulled you close, holding you tightly. He still felt awful about hurting you, but he was so glad you still loved him.
Zoro
Looking at your cut arm in horror, his sword fell out of his mouth before he was dropping the other two and rushing you to Chopper. He’d never actually cut you before! He’d even covered his blades so that he wouldn’t hurt you! But apparently, it hadn’t helped as he leaned against the wall outside the infirmary. He couldn’t look at you, couldn’t watch Chopper tend to your wound. How could he when he’d been the one to cause it? When he’d hurt you like that. He swore he could hear Mihawk in the back of his mind, berating him for hurting you. He should have used practice swords, he should have controlled himself better, he should have been more careful. The worlds greatest swordsman? The world’s greatest swordsman wouldn’t have hurt the love of his life! He couldn’t look at you as you stepped out of the infirmary, your arm wrapped in bandages. You’d needed a few stitches, but nothing serious, or at least, nothing you were concerned about. Facing the green haired man, you put your hands on either side of his face, making him look at you.
“You’re going to be the worlds best swordsman before you know it. You’re already so strong even when you’re holding back. I can’t wait for your rematch with Mihawk, this time, you’ll be the one with a tiny knife while he struggles against you.” you said with a small giggle before kissing his cheek. He looked at you, completely speechless. You… were okay? You weren’t mad? All he could do was nod, wrapping his arms around you and holding you close. He felt so, so lucky to have someone as amazing as you, someone as forgiving as you.
Sanji
This was why he didn’t fight women! This is why he insisted on not fighting you, especially! But after so much begging and pleading, he’d agreed. Then he’d continued, you told him to spar with you so that way he could fight women in the future, so he wouldn’t be helpless against them. Now he sat in the kitchen, head in his hands, his entire body shaking as tears ran down his cheeks. He’d be chain smoking his cigarettes if his hands hadn’t been shaking too much to even hold one, let alone light it and smoke it. He could still see it in his mind, replaying over and over again. Watching you double over in pain, arms wrapped around your middle where his foot had connected with your stomach. What kind of horrible person was he? What kind of monster hurt the people they loved? Was he… was he as bad as his brothers? Was he a monster like them? He heard your footsteps enter the kitchen, tears starting to fall faster as you stopped in front of him.
“Sanji? My darling love, my sun and stars, my sweet starfruit, please look at me.” your soft voice pleaded, the blond slowly, reluctantly lifting his head to look at you. You looked so sad as you began to wipe away his tears, kissing his forehead, his cheeks, his palms, and finally his lips, “It’s alright, mon gentil canard, it’s just some bruising, Chopper said I’ll be fine.” you said, making him tremble more as he quickly pulled you into a hug, burying his face in your stomach as he sobbed. He’d hurt you, yet you still called him yours, he’d legitimately hit you, yet you held him and kissed him. He didn’t deserve you, didn’t deserve such a forgiving angel, but if you saw fit to forgive him, he’d gladly take it.
Sabo
How could he have done this? He had better control than this! He was better than this! Running his hand through his blond locks, he tilted his head back, resting it against the wall he was leaning against. He felt so stupid right now. It seemed like an eternity before you exited the infirmary, your wrist bound in a cast. It had been broken, he’d broken it. He felt even worse. He looked at you, regret etched into his features, surprised when you smiled at him.
“I suppose you weren’t bragging when you said your fingers could crush skulls like eggs. Then again, I expect no less from the RA’s second in command.” you said with a small laugh. Sabo was absolutely speechless. You… you were laughing? You were complimenting him? You weren’t mad?! His mouth opened and closed a few times as he tried to find the words before he pulled you into a tight hug.
“Never again! You and I are never sparring together again!” he said sternly as he held you, burying his head in your hair. You sighed and wrapped your arms around him, knowing how stubborn he could be. Still, you had one way of making it work.     “But how am I going to become better if I don’t have you to help me? You’re the only one strong, smart, and amazing enough to help me get better. The others would just beat me into the dirt without actually teaching me anything.” you said with a fake huff as you wrapped your arms around him. Sabo froze. The others… they wouldn’t hold back like he did, you were right, they’d beat you with ease, wouldn’t hold back, and you wouldn’t learn a thing. Even if he told them what to do, they still wouldn’t know what to do like he did. With a small sigh, he nodded, his arms tightening around you slightly, holding you as if you’d disappear.
“Alright… I’ll keep helping you… but you have to do something for me in return.” he said, hoping to reach a compromise of sorts.
“Of course, anything.” you said, smiling as he agreed.
“Let me take care of you until your wrist is better.” he asked, making you giggle.
“Alright, just don’t go overboard. My wrist is broken, I’m not missing an arm.” you said, enjoying his embrace.
Ace
What had he done? How could he have hurt you like this? Was he a demon like people said? The son of Roger, a demon child. Surely it was a title that fit what he’d done to you! He sat in his room on the floor, holding his head as he tried not to cry. He’d hurt you! He was so stupid! All the horrible thoughts that you normally pushed down came flooding back as he berated himself over and over again, only stopping when he felt something press against his head. Looking up, he saw your beautiful, smiling face.
“Why are you in here, my sweet strawberry? Why didn’t you stay in the infirmary with me? Marco patched me up no problem, but how can I feel better if the love of my life isn’t by my side?” you asked, giving him a small, cute pout as you sat down in front of him, your legs pulled close to your chest as you gave him your sad puppy dog eyes. Immediately, his arms were wrapping around you, pulling you close, his entire body trembling as he clung to you as if you were his only lifeline. His apologies were muffled in your shoulder, but you could still hear them, still understand what he was saying.
“Hey now, Strawberry, none of that. Why are you apologizing for showing me how good you’ve gotten? We were practicing so you could show me your new moves! You’re as amazing and strong and stunning as ever!” you said, holding him close, moving his head from your shoulder to your chest, allowing him to bury his head in your chest, the steady sound of your heartbeat soothing him. You always knew how to make him feel better, no matter what happened.
“I… I hurt you though.” he muttered as his sobs calmed down, still holding you.
“That’s why we have a phoenix on board, my sweet flame. Can’t be hurt if my injuries don’t exist.” you said, your smile widening. Looking at you, he tried to find any evidence of his hit, finding nothing. Your face was still as beautiful as always, still made his heart melt from the love in your eyes.
“I just… please… please let me make it up to you.” he begged, his eyes desperately pleading with you. With a sigh, you nodded, knowing how he’d find a way to make it up to you anyway.
“Just don’t go overboard. It was so minor, Marco would have turned me away if he hadn’t been bored out of his mind.” you said, making the man chuckle.
“Fine, I won’t go overboard. But I want to treat you to something nice. Let me take you out to dinner? We can take a ride on my striker, go out for a bit, then stare at the stars together.” he suggested, making you smile and nod.
“I’d like that a lot, my lovely wildfire.” you said, giving him a soft kiss on the forehead before pulling him into a gentle kiss. The two of you stayed snuggled up like that, the devil fruit user eventually falling sleep on your chest like he often did, slumbering away peacefully like he so often did.

Hey there! Hope everything's going great
Sooo I had a request:
I had this thought about what if s/o and op men had a little argument on something and they decide to give silent treatment to each other for a while, they still do stuff together like going shopping for stuff with the crew but this little incident happens where a guy flirts with s/o infront of their partner and she (yep female s/o) says she's single XD
Like a headcanon on how they would react to this? It can be a funny one
I'd specifically like sabo, law, zoro and coby for this!
Thank youuuu so muchhhh if you'll do this take care! ^^ ♡
I included Ace in this as well because I love him. Sabo, Law, Zoro, Koby, Ace.
Warnings: arguments, threats, almost violence, heartbreak, hurt/comfort,
Word Count:1720
Your fights never got this bad, never got out of control like this. Normally, you were able to work it out, or at least take some time to cool down first. But you’d both been in a bad mood, both said things you shouldn’t have, both been rather stupid to be honest. It should have been a minor argument, should have been simple grumbling followed by comforting hugs and cuddles, maybe a nap. Instead, it had ended up with you both storming off in an even worse mood than you’d already been in, it had ended with you both giving each other the silent treatment, and with extremely high tensions whenever you were together. Few, if any, of your friends said anything, not wanting to get caught up in your fight or be on the receiving end of your wrath, but the tension was getting uncomfortable… well, more uncomfortable. A simple shopping trip with the others, that’s all it was. Get some supplies, look around, it wouldn’t be the two of you alone, so it’s not like it would be uncomfortable silence the entire way, you could both talk to someone who wasn’t each other. It had been while you’d been in a clothing shop, looking at various clothes that he approached you. Tall, handsome, with a gorgeous smile.
“Hey there, beautiful. Noticed you looking at these. If I may be so bold, I think this would look much better on you.” he said, holding out a beautiful dress. Running your fingers over the fabric, you smiled, you did look good in this color, maybe it was worth at least trying on.
“Tell me how I look?” you asked, taking the dress, the man following you towards the dressing rooms. As soon as you stepped out, the man was taking your hand, kissing the back before helping give you a little spin.
“You look dazzling. I was wondering, if a beautiful woman like you would perhaps join me for dinner? That is, unless you’re already taken.” he said, giving you another thousand watt smile. You hesitated for a moment. The two of you hadn’t talked in well over a week, or had it been longer? You were both too busy fuming to keep track, still stubbornly refusing to talk to each other.
“No, I’m single and I’d love to accompany you.” you said with a soft smile.
Sabo
Head immediately whips around to look at you.
Heartbroken and angry.
Single? Was this your way of breaking up with him?
Immediately marches over, tells the guy you’re actually taken and then drags you away.
Pulls you somewhere secluded so you can talk.
Totally pins you to the wall.
Calls you both stubborn and says that the fight was stupid.
He’s angry because of the guy but he’s also super scared of losing you.
Pulls you close and holds you, telling you you’re his and that he won’t let some stupid fight change that.
If you don’t apologize for the fight or want to break up, his heart will 100% shatter.
He’s lost enough, you were the ray of sunshine in his life, he can’t lose you too.
Doesn’t actually say anything though, just walks away.
You can’t tell if he’s angry or sad from the way he leaves.
Won’t talk to anyone unless necessary for days and completely avoids you.
So, so heartbroken, absolutely cries when he’s alone.
Thinks he has to be strong for the Revolutionary Army though, so will put on a smile around others.
If you both apologize.
Refuses to let you go after that, if you let him, he’ll absolutely carry you everywhere, but if you don’t, he won’t let go of your hand. At. All.
Super possessive all day.
Pulls you into his room to sleep with you.
I hope you don’t have to get up in the middle of the night, because he won’t let you go.
Seriously, wrapped completely around you, holding you tight, you just are not going anywhere.
Steals or buys all sorts of gifts for you. Anything he thinks you might like.
Even if you’re both at fault, he’s trying so hard to make up for the fight.
Law
Excuse me, what?
Straight up shambles the guy away, like as far as his room will allow.
Super duper pissed.
Demands to know why you said you were single.
If you say that you’re breaking up with him, his heart will break.
Not even kidding, will storm off to the Polar Tang, lock himself in his room and cry.
If you say someting like ‘he was acting like you weren’t together anymore’, he’ll freeze up
Had he really been that stubborn and stupid?
Shambles you both back to the ship and holds you close.
Tells you that he can’t lose you.
Surprisingly sweet. Is this really your Law? Because he’s being way too affectionate.
Absolutely makes it up to you. Takes you back out shopping, if you so much as look at something with vague interest, he’ll either buy it or steal it for you.
Takes you out to a very nice (secluded) dinner that night. Holds you close all night, like, I hope you don’t mind sleeping in his bed with his arms wrapped around you, because it will happen.
Doesn’t let you out of his sight the entire time you’re docked.
Zoro
Almost slices the entire store (and the guy) into pieces.
You’re WHAT?
So, so, so angry.
Also scared, though he won’t admit it.
Scares the guy away.
Picks you up, throws you over his shoulder, and takes you back to the Sunny.
You can’t tell if he’s more angry or hurt as he looks at you.
Simply states that you’re his.
If you tell him you aren’t and that you’re breaking up with him.
Just storms off.
Goes to his gym and starts working out to try and blow off some steam.
Spends an unusual amount of time in the gym from now on.
Can’t look at you because it hurts too much.
Still totally loves you.
He doesn’t even insult Sanji for days.
If you forgive him.
Wraps his arms around you and holds you close.
Just stays like that for a while.
Keeps an arm wrapped around you all day as you go shopping.
In so much debt to Nami now because he borrowed so much money.
Isn’t able to buy you everything you look at, but if you express any sort of desire over it, he’ll buy it.
Keeps you close for weeks. He’s training? Well, I hope you wanted to watch him work out. He’s taking a nap? You’re taking a nap too.
I hope you don’t mind sleeping in the boy’s dorm because Nami absolutely will not let him sleep in the girl’s dorm.
Koby
Immediately rushes over to you.
Are you serious? Does this mean you’re breaking up with him? He’s so, so, so, so sorry.
Completely ignoring the guy as he takes your hands in his.
Eyes are so hurt and scared and a little desperate.
Begs you to forgive him.
If you break up with him.
Absolutely starts tearing up then and there.
Quietly walks away as he starts crying. Returns to his room and starts sobbing.
Beats himself up for getting into the fight in the first place.
SO different from his usual self!
Just super quiet and downcast.
It’s like he reverted back to when he was working for Alvida but without the hope for something better.
His rank and abilities totally suffer because of how heartbroken he is.
Like, everyone is wondering, is this really the same Captain Koby?
Does eventually, sort of bounce back, but is super focused on only work.
If you forgive him.
Clings to you, just wrapps you in a huge hug, apologizing over and over.
Still crying a little but so, so relieved.
Buys. You. Everything!
Seriously, I hope you plan to look at the ground the entire time, because if you even glance at it, he’s buying it, trying to make things up to you.
Even if he knows it’s both of your faults, he doesn’t care, he feels like he needs to apologize and make it up to you.
Spoils you rotten for weeks.
A little meek around you for a bit, but does perk up and return to normal after a bit.
Cuddles with you whenever possible. Like, if he has even a minute to spare, he’s got his arms wrapped around you.
Ace
Literally lights on fire as he stalks over to the man.
Almost lights the guy on fire.
Not sure who to feel more sorry for. Ace for feeling so scared and heartbroken or the man for being so terrified.
Pulls you away immediately.
As soon as your somewhere secluded, he wraps his arms around you and doesn’t let go.
Apologizing over and over.
Please don’t leave him, he’ll do anything, whatever you ask.
If you don’t forgive him. Stands there in stunned silence while you walk away.
100% crying.
So, so despondent as he walks back to the Moby Dick.
Locks himself in his cabin, refuses to come out.
Barely eats and Thatch has to deliver it to Ace because Ace won’t come out.
Nobody hears his sobbing, but it’s a miracle he doesn’t die of dehydration.
You were the best thing to happen to him.
You think he was depressed over his past before?
1000x worse now.
Absolutely thinks he’s trash for losing you.
Doesn’t necessarily bounce back, but returns to his commander duties again.
If you forgive him.
Holding you even tighter.
Can’t stop himself from crying into your shoulder.
So, so scared he was going to lose you.
Once he manages to gather himself together again, he takes you back to the ship.
He doesn’t buy you everything but that’s because he just wants to hold you.
You spend the entire week simply cuddling with him.
Will not let you go. Eating dinner? You’re in his lap. Sleeping? He’s holding you tightly like a teddy bear. Just relaxing? He’s cuddled up with you.
I hope you don’t need to train, because he won’t let you go long enough to do so.
Whitebeard eventually has to order him to return to him commander duties because he’s so busy clinging to you.

(hi! same previous anon!) May I request ace taking you to meet his mother for the first time? She’d definitely love you to pieces and prob show you ace’s baby pics (much to his embarrassment) but he’s glad that they’re bonding😊
This one almost got away from me, I had so much fun writing it. since you said 'still alive' I'm keeping it closer to the canon universe but with his mom in it (sort of... ish).
Warnings: fluff, naked baby Ace, GN!Reader
Word Count: 1810
Ace grinned as he sped across the waves, holding you in his arms, safe from the fire that roared at his feet, sending his striker flying over the waters. He was taking you somewhere particularly special tonight. The two of you had been dating for a little while now and the ship was close enough that he could see her again, so he wanted to introduce you to her. You were the light of his life, the person of his dreams, everything he’d ever wanted in a person. She was the other light of his life, the woman who raised him and loved him unconditionally, the one who always comforted him and had even had the heart to take in his brothers. He visited her as often as he could, but the life of a pirate didn’t always make for frequent, planned, or routine visits. Still, this was the woman who fell in love with Roger, the king of the pirates, she understood better than anybody how the pirate life was. Hell, she encouraged it. Urging him to go out to sea when he was still young enough to be uncertain about it, when he was worried about leaving his mother to deal with his little brother, or worse, leaving her alone. When he apologized for not visiting more often, she’d simply smiled and kissed his forehead, telling him she was just happy to know he was alive. After Pops had taken him in, he’d apologized for a lot of things, but she’d just laughed and smiled like she always did. She was always so happy just to see him and hear that he was doing well. You were the same. When he worried that the pirate life would put you in danger, you just laughed it off and said you wouldn’t even be at sea if you were worried about safety. The number of times you’d waved off forgotten dates, missed meetings, or the one time he missed your birthday because he was holed up in the infirmary. The smile on your face, the light in your eyes that day, it was almost as if he was looking at his mother’s spirit in a different body. That same happiness, that same love that made his heart soar, made his heart ache from how hard it pounded for you. All either of you wanted was his happiness. Reaching the island, Ace smiled, holding you tighter as his striker sped up a little, his excitement urging him on. It didn’t take long for Ace to bring you to his mother’s home, a small, quaint little house, the smell of something delicious wafting from inside. The boy didn’t even bother knocking, opening the door, his eyes glowing like a kid on christmas morning as he looked around.
“Mom? I’m here!” he called, turning into a ball of sunshine and energy the moment a blond woman rounded the corner. Ace had her in a bear hug the moment he laid eyes on her, the woman laughing as she wrapped her arms around him.
“Ace, sweetie, it’s so good to see you again!” she said as Ace attempted to hug the life out of her.
“It’s good to see you too, mom! I’m sorry I don’t visit more often.” he said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck, only to perk up suddenly, “Oh! This is the person I wanted you to meet! Y/n, this is my mom!” Ace said excitedly, hurrying over to you and putting his hands on your shoulders as he pushed you towards his mother. You couldn’t help the small laugh that escaped your lips, holding a hand out to the woman.
“Nice to meet you, I'm Y/n.” you said with a sunny smile. Ace’s mom smiled and laughed slightly.
“No need to be so formal, dear.” she said with a smile, pulling you into a hug. You couldn’t help the warmth that blossomed in your chest as you wrapped your arms around her. It was clear where Ace had gotten his warmth from. His smile might be thanks to his brothers, but his warmth was very clearly his mother’s. Pulling away, you couldn’t help but smile as Ace started telling his mother what he’d been up to and how he’d met you, a fond look in her eyes as she remembered her own love and her own young romance.
“So they’ve been told about all your embarrassing moments on board Whitebeard’s ship, but have they been told about the soft side of that angry little boy?” his mother asked, poking his bare stomach, making him squirm away from her, his smile dropping as he looked at his mother warily.
“I don’t know what you mean, they’ve already seen my softer side, I’m soft with them all the time. Just ask Marco or Thatch, they keep telling me that I’m giving them cavities.” Ace said, giving his mother a confused and slightly concerned glance. His mother gave a mischievous smile as she took your hand and pulled you into the living room.
“Oh but they haven’t seen this side of you!” the woman said happily as she pulled some books out from a cupboard, Ace going a little pale, his excited, happy demeanor turning to one of embarrassment.
“I-I’m sure that’s not necessary. I mean, it’s just me when I was young, so what.” Ace said, hoping to come off as nonchalant. He couldn’t make a big deal out of it, you’d get curious, but he really didn’t want you to do exactly what you were doing now as you grinned and sat next to his mother, the both of you pouring over the old baby pictures.
“Oh, this is us in our old home on Dawn Island. I moved there for a while after Ace was born for safety. After Luffy left, though, I wanted to return here. Oh, oh! This is Ace on his first birthday! Look at his cute face! Oh, and here’s after I tried giving him a tiny piece of cake! He made such a mess!” she gushed, pointing to the various photos, her mind replaying each memory.
“You were such a cutie.” you said, giving Ace a teasing wink, the boy blushing as he stuffed his hands in his pockets and scoffed like he was upset.
“Y-you didn’t have to pull out the baby pictures.” he ‘grumbled’ as he headed for the kitchen to see what his mother had made. Whatever it was, it smelled delicious and it gave him an excuse to get out of the embarrassing moment, though he was quickly spinning around, eyes wide at the next words out of his mother’s mouth.
“This was one time when I tried to give him a bath, he hated being in the water when he was little, look at that little pout!” she said, fawning over the tiny black haired boy in the pictures.
“Mom! Are… are you showing them pictures of me in the bath?!” Ace cried out, his cheeks turning cherry red.
“Look at what a cute little butt he had.” you said, staring into his eyes with every word, the smile on your face just as mischievous as his mother’s. Ace groaned as he ‘fled’ to the kitchen, grabbing the food his mother had made. Despite his protests, hearing the two of you continue to go over old pictures made him feel like he was on cloud 9, like everything in life was perfect. You were getting along, even if she was showing you embarrassing old photos, his mother clearly loved you already. Then again, with how much he’d told her about you, it was like she’d known you for months already, talking with you like she would with an old friend. It was a while later that you both entered the kitchen, his mother laughing when she saw that he’d already eaten most of the dinner she’d been cooking.
"As hungry as ever, my little pirate prince.” she said affectionately, kissing the top of his head, making him blush and duck his head in embarrassment.
“Oh come on! You already showed her baby pictures, do you really have to start in on the ‘pirate prince’ thing?” he ‘whined’ as you chuckled.
“No need to start on it, I already saw ‘pirate prince Ace’s first treasure’.” you said with a grin, referencing one of the pictures his mother had shown you. Ace’s head hit the table as he groaned. He remembered the picture, he was 3 and he’d found a way into his mother’s garden. His clothes had gotten snagged on the fence as he’d wiggled in, leaving a 3 year old Ace naked among the hibiscus flowers. He’d pulled up most of the flowers by the time his mother found him. In the picture he sat on the ground, staring up behind him at his mother who’d just put a flower crown on him. In his lap was a small lunch box filled with squished and crumpled hibiscus flowers, his ‘treasure’. He remembered the garden quite well. They were yellow, orange, and red hibiscus’s and in the morning light with the dew still fresh, they glittered like real treasure. As much as his mother loved the garden, she hadn’t been mad at him, she couldn’t be, not when he looked so cute, trying to run away with his lunch box full of flowers, still naked and screaming that it was his treasure and she couldn’t have any. The two of you laughed as you sat down and started eating what remained of dinner. Thankfully, his mother had spent years cooking for 3 very hungry little boys so she’d made plenty as the two of you continued to bond over the dark haired boy as he tried to sink further into the table as if, by some miracle, it would swallow him whole and let him leave the embarrassing moment. Not that he actually wanted to, it was nice hearing you two get along, it made him feel warm, warmer than even his devil fruit normally made him.
By the end of the night, his mother was wrapping you up in another hug.
“You need to come by again as soon as you get the chance! I’d love to see you and Ace again.” she said sweetly, a loving look in her eyes as she looked at her son.
“Of course! I promise, we’ll come visit whenever we’re in the area.” you said with a similar smile, the two of you giving each other one last hug before waving goodbye, heading back towards Whitebeard’s ship. Once more in his arms as he sped across the waves, you couldn’t help but smile as you snuggled into his hold, he felt as warm to you as always. Likewise, you felt warm to him as well, as warm as his mother.

Hey there Astra! Hope you're taking care of yourself and doing well 😄. Can I request Izou, Thatch, Marco, and Ace with a shy!s/o? If it's too much you can just do Izou, thank you so much you're the best!! 🤍
So this is also my @onepiece-bingo submission for 'First Kiss'. Thank you for being so patient with me.
Warnings: first kisses, Shy!Reader, Izou, Thatch, Marco, Ace
Word Count: 1490
Izou
It was cute how shy you were, how you hid behind him if too much attention was on you, how you sank in your seat to try to not be noticed, and how you squeaked and quietly insisted on being put down if he lifted you into the air. That being said, it was hard to keep a ‘low profile’ when you were dating the prettiest pirate in the New World and 16th division commander. The man attracted attention and oozed confidence and an elegance that drew people to him. You, by comparison, were relatively plain. Choosing not to wear flashy makeup or clothing in order to not attract attention. Head down and refusing to meet people’s eyes so that they wouldn’t approach you. Izou wasn’t really bothered by your shyness, in fact he found it rather endearing and cute. There was… one thing he didn’t like about your shyness though. You hated PDA. PDA always brought attention to you, attention and teasing. The most he could do was hold your hand but even then, you preferred to hold one of his long sleeves, afraid of the attention you might get if you actually held his hand. The crew never teased you on anything, they knew better than to try to tease you, less they invoke Izou’s wrath, but you still worried about all the eyes that could be watching you. He hadn’t even had his first kiss with you yet! But he was going to change that today! He had a nice place to pull you aside, away from the prying eyes of the others, secluded and not likely to be bothered. So pulling you through the halls, he smiled back at you, the confused look on your face only making you cuter.
“Y/n.” he said softly, caressing your cheek as he closed the door behind you, “it’s not the romance you deserve, but I’ve been waiting too long to do this.” Izou said softly, pulling you into a sweet kiss. Your heart pounded in your chest as you kissed back, wrapping your arms around his neck. Suddenly, you wished you’d done this sooner, that you’d had the courage to kiss him in front of the others. Breaking the kiss, you looked up at him, in wonder.
“Can… can we do that again?” you asked softly, the dark haired man smiling as he pulled you into another kiss.
Ace
Ace was wild, loud, outgoing, and commanding. You were shy, quiet, introverted, and timid. Logically, your relationship made little sense, but then, love didn’t make any logical sense. You liked how he was always doing grand gestures to show you how much he cared, how he was pulling you out on some new adventure, and how he showered you in affection. He loved how cute you were, how your need to avoid attention kept him out of too much trouble, how you quietly gave him small gifts. That being said, there were things you both hated. You hated how he was always attracting attention to you, despite your protests, you hated how he was always pulling you into his trouble, and how he’d pull you with him when he was really happy, drawing the attention of the entire crew to the two of you. He hated how you always wanted to be a wallflower during parties, how he wasn’t allowed to show you off and tell everyone how amazing you were, and the one he hated the most, how adamantly you refused PDA. He wanted to walk down the street with his arm wrapped around your waist, he wanted to spin you around in his arms, and most importantly, he wanted his damn first kiss with you! But he’d be damned if your shyness stopped him! It was the dead of night that he tugged you to the back of the ship.
“Ace, what’s so important that you needed to talk to me at this hour at the back of the ship?” you asked, confused and slightly annoyed. You’d been getting ready for bed, what did he want? Ace just gave you one of his sunny smiles as he pulled you into a passionate kiss, hands on either cheek, holding your head as he sighed happily into the kiss. You couldn’t stop yourself from melting into the kiss, hands gripping his shoulders. Pulling back, he grinned at the dazed look in your eyes. He didn’t bother to say a thing as his arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you into another kiss, neither of you aware of the small audience that peeked through the windows, quietly cheering and exchanging bet money.
Marco
Sitting in his office, Marco smiled over at you. You always looked so at home in the solitude of his office, away from the rowdy and often boisterous crew. Helping the phoenix with whatever various paperwork or office work he had. He understood your desire to stay out of the spotlight, to stay away from the excitement and attention that often came with much of the crew. In fact, it astounded him that someone as shy as you even sailed with the Whitebeard Pirates. The most infamous pirate currently alive, someone everyone kept an eye on, and you stayed with them. Getting up, he walked over to you, pushing some hair out of your face and placing a gentle kiss to your forehead, your cheeks turning a light shade of pink.
“Sorry, Little Bird, you looked too cute-yoi.” he said softly, large hand cupping your cheek as he sat on the edge of the desk you were working at. Smiling up at him, you leaned into his touch, he was always so sweet. Turning your head, you placed a soft kiss on his palm, the sweet gesture making him sigh happily. Leaning down, he put a hand under your chin, his lips meeting yours, lightly pushing you back into your chair so he could deepen the kiss. Pulling away, you couldn’t help but giggle.
“What’s so funny, Little Bird?” he asked, as you smiled at him.
“It’s just… every kiss feels like the first with you. I… I still get butterflies and my stomach still does flips.” you admittedly shyly.
“I agree, your lips still taste just as sweet-yoi.” he said with a nod before pulling you into another kiss. He’d never been so happy that he worked away from the crew, able to share kisses like this with you as often as he desired.
Thatch
The man was a damned flirt, though perhaps that’s what attracted you to him in the first place, how he made you swoon, how charming and sweet he was… his culinary skills didn’t hurt either. Well… mostly, in any case. It was sweet how he’d make you all sorts of culinary confections, cooking your favorite just for you, or other delicious treats. But he was always presenting them in the biggest, most ostentatious, attention drawing ways. Ways that had you looking for somewhere to hide from the prying eyes. Sure, he usually tried to keep said ostentatiousness in private, but on more than one occasion, he’d drawn the attention of damn near the entire crew to you. Hiding in the kitchen, you glanced back at Thatch, making sure that nobody could peek in and see the two of you.
“Don’t worry, my sweet treat, nobody’s going to bother us.” he said, wrapping his arms around your waist from behind, nuzzling into the crook of your neck.
“I just… you have a tendency to draw everybody’s attention and you know I hate that.” you said, placing one of your hands over his as you relaxed in his hold.
“I’ll make you a deal, you give me one thing and I’ll try to be better about that.” he offered, making you raise an eyebrow.
“I suppose that depends on the ‘one thing’.” you said, as he continued holding you.
“Just… close your eyes and trust me.” he whispered in your ear, making you sigh both from exasperation and your heart melting. Doing as he said, you felt him let you go for just a moment before his hands were on your waist again, picking you up and setting you on the counter as his lips met yours. You wouldn’t deny that you’d been waiting for this moment for a while, but there never seemed to be a good, quiet, moment for your first kiss. A moment where the crew wouldn’t bother you with wolf whistles and ‘good natured’ teasing. Your hands clung to the yellow scarf he was always wearing, keeping him pulled close to you as you remained lip locked until you needed to breathe.
“A-alright, that… I’ll allow you one more for free, but after that you have to keep your end of the deal.” you said shyly, staring down at your lap as you blushed. Thatch chuckled and pulled you into another kiss, more than happy to get another ‘freebie’.

congratulations... can i have scenario n. 14 with dialogue fluff 3 and Ace as a character?
Warnings: bad jokes, most of the dialog is actually in their minds
Word Count: 1570
You could feel him staring again, you could feel his mind reaching out to yours, like a soft poke, as if testing the waters.
“One two, one two three? Okay, I know you can hear my thoughts, psychic girl, so here’s a new one for you. Why was Cinderella bad at soccer?.... She kept running away from the ball!” a pause, a mental huff, you could feel him pouting, “okay, fine, it wasn’t that funny, it was kinda corny. Okay, uh…. What do you get when you cross a snowman and a vampire?.... Frostbite!.... Please laugh! I know you’re psychic! Why did it take so long for pirates to learn the alphabet?... they got stuck at C!... you know, C… sea… PLEASE! I know you have a sense of humor!” Ace’s mental voice cried as he stared at you. You bit your lip, trying not to chuckle at his desperation. You had to admit, it was kind of cute listening to him tell you mental jokes in an attempt to prove you were psychic. Honestly, you hadn’t meant for him to learn that you were psychic, but ever since you’d comforted him that one time, he wouldn’t give up. It wasn’t like this had been your intention, but you’d felt the pain radiating from him from the rooftop, his thoughts drowning you in an ocean of misery. So you’d reached out to him, in the privacy of your minds, you’d held him and wiped away his tears. At first he’d thought it was just his mind trying to make him feel better, then he’d thought it was a coincidence that your voice and the one that had comforted him were one and the same. Of course, he couldn’t have just let it be coincidence, no, he’d approached you and given you half of his chocolate bar when you’d accidentally said something you shouldn’t have. Said something you shouldn’t have known. Since then, he’d been trying to get you to laugh, tried to get tangible evidence as to your powers. Granted, his jokes were hit or miss, some being so bad they hurt and others being so funny it took all your willpower not to laugh. Taking a deep breath, you focused on your class, letting his jokes become background noise. As much as it would amuse you to let him try and tell you jokes all day, you really needed to pay attention… technically so did he. You knew his grades were terrible, you’d even tried subtly feeding him a couple answers, poking his mind to try and remember what he already knew, but the boy seemed to ignore what his own brain already knew!
Sighing, you walked up to the board, you hated it when the teacher called you up, hated all the eyes on you, people’s thoughts always seemed louder if they were paying attention to you.
“A sense of humor, smart, beautiful, and a damn fine body. Fuck, I’d love to date you.” Ace’s mental voice said dreamily. You spun around, eyes wide and cheeks bright pink, staring at him. Had… had he just thought that?! Had he meant for you to hear that?! Ace sat up straighter, looking a little startled as you stared at him. For a moment, you forgot what you’d been doing until the teacher cleared his throat asking if something was wrong. Telling him no, you quickly began writing on the board, trying to force the blush down.
“Did… did you hear that psychic girl? You did, didn’t you? I… I didn’t mean for you to hear that! I mean, you’re psychic so I guess I should have seen it coming, but I swear, it’s not like that! I like you for more than your body! Wait, no! I mean, not that I like you! Wait, you can hear my thoughts, you probably, oh shit, lalalalala!” his mental voice frantic. You couldn’t help but giggle as you headed back to your seat. Glancing over at him, you smiled.
“Are you a campfire?” a voice called in his head, startling him. He knew that voice, it was your voice.
“Am… am I a campfire?” he asked, giving you an inquisitive look.
“Yeah, because you’re hot and I want s’more.” Ace let out a rather sudden and startling laugh, drawing the class's attention.
“Uh, sorry, just uh… nothing.” Ace muttered, looking down at his desk, his cheeks dusted pink. He glanced over at you, noticing you muffling a giggle.
“Are you a singularity?... because not only are you attractive, but the closer I get to you, the faster time seems to slip by.” your voice called out once again, his cheeks turning pinker.
“Are… Are you trying to flirt with me?” he asked, staring at you in astonishment. There was a small pause as you looked down at your desk, your own cheeks a bright pink.
“Yes… Is it working?” you asked, glancing back up at him. Ace smirked at you,
“You know, if I had a star for every time you brightened my day, I’d have a galaxy in my hand.” he said, unable to stop the dreamy smile on his face.
“Can I follow you home?” you asked, making Ace tilt his head in confusion.
     “Can you… what? Why?”
“Well my parents told me to follow my dreams.” you replied, making him blush more. Not that you weren’t bright red as well.
“I suppose that depends, if you followed me home, could I keep you?” he asked, making you stifle another giggle.
“Well, I’m not a pet, but I can be your kitten.” you replied, trying not to crack up when his face turned an even brighter red, looked down at his desk, trying to hide how red he was.
“How can you be so cute when you say that?!... think that…” he said, internally groaning. It wasn’t fair! Not only were you flirting back, but you were beating him at his own game of trying to get a reaction out of you!
“You know, I’m pretty smart, but I thought happiness started with an H. Why does mine start with U?” you asked.
“Stop! I… I give up! You’re gonna make everyone think something’s wrong with me!” he whined, covering one side of his face with his hand.
“Shouldn’t I consider this payback then? For trying to make me laugh all those times and distract me?” you asked
“Nooooo, please, mercy! Forgive me!” he pleaded, making you chuckle quietly.
“Mmm, fine, for now. But you still owe me for weeks of jokes!” you said, smirking as his internal groan.
“Can’t I just take you out to dinner? You’re flirting with me, that means something, doesn’t it? I’ll take you out, show you a good time, I’ll make up for it!” he begged, dread filling him when your chuckle echoed through his mind.
“You think you can make it up just like that? Oh no, do you know how many times I had to try so hard not to laugh? No, unless you have something better, it’s time for payback.” you said, glancing over at him.
“What do you want from me? Anything! I promise!” he whined, head ducked down so low to his desk that you might think he was sleeping.
“So you admit defeat?” you asked, grinning victoriously.
“Yes! You win! Just please, don’t do this to me in the middle of class!” he said, looking over at you, his eyes begging for you to stop.
“Hmm, I suppose you’re right, the middle of class isn’t the right time or place.” you said, making him breathe an all too soon sigh of relief, “everyday while you’re at the arcade with your brothers should be fine.” you said, making him look at you in horror.
“No! No, you can’t! They’re gonna tease the hell outta me! It’ll ruin my gaming superiority over Luffy! He’ll never let me live it down!” he cried, giving you the biggest puppy dog eyes he could.
“Alright, alright. Well, there is one last option.” you said playfully, making Ace nervous.
“O-okay, well… let’s hear it.” he said tentatively.
“Be my boyfriend and I’ll chalk it up to you trying to woo me.” you offered. Ace was pretty sure his head blew up as he stared at you wide eyed. Had you just said that? Had you just asked him out?!
“Ace? Ace? Earth to Ace, come in, Ace.” your voice called, knocking him out of his trance.
“Are… are you serious about dating? Because I mean, I’d love for you to be my girlfriend!” he asked excitedly, perking up slightly, his eyes shining as he looked at you.
“Of course I’m serious, dumbass, why else would I be flirting with you. Now do you want to date or not?” you asked. Ace jumped up, cheering as he pumped his fist in the air.
“Hell yes, I wanna be your boyfriend!” he shouted, cutting through the silence of the classroom, everyone’s eyes on him.
“Portgas D. Ace, sit the hell down!” the teacher shouted, glaring at the boy, “It’s bad enough that you sleep through my lectures, I don’t need you bothering the students who actually want to learn something!” Ace sat down, his cheeks burning as he ducked his head down.
“We’ll talk more after school, that way you don’t make a bigger idiot out of yourself.” you teased before going back to paying attention to your teacher.

hi, can i request the scenario n. 7 with Ace and dialogue 2 and 8 fluffy?
Warnings: car accidents, injuries
Word Count: 1200
If he’d known he never would have let you out of the apartment this morning. He’d never have even let you out of bed. He’d have stayed snuggling you all morning. No, all day! It was fine, you’d said, you had to. But driving recklessly down the streets, leaving another voicemail on your phone, he wondered if you’d really had to. Maybe he could have convinced you to stay, could have said or done something to keep you home today. His bike wove in between cars dangerously as he took another dangerous turn, dialing you again, quickly begging for you to pick up. Not that you did, the sound of your voicemail ringing through his bluetooth. More run red lights, tight turns, and the near miss of a flower cart later and he was practically jumping off a still moving bike, letting the vehicle drop to the ground as he ripped his helmet off and looked for you. Calling your name, he grew more and more frantic, panic taking over as he searched for you. The number of cars piled up, the way some of them had crumpled, once sturdy metal now crushed into unrecognizable scrap, it had a shiver running through his spine as he sprinted towards the fire truck.
“Marco! Please tell me you found Y/n!” Ace pleaded, running up to the blond, gripping the man’s suit.
“Y/n? No, we’ve only gone through a fraction of the cars. She… are you certain she was in this?” Marco demanded as Ace looked at the pile up in horror. How had this happened? How had it been so bad?
"This is the road she always takes, she always stops by a nearby coffee shop, and she hasn’t answered any of my calls. I called her work and they said that she’s not there… Marco, I… please, let me help find her.” he begged, still holding his friend in place.
“Ace, you’re not geared up, you know we can’t-” “Please Marco! I have to find her! I have to know if she’s okay!” he said, tears starting to gather in his eyes. The blond paused, looking at the wreckage.
“You check everyone on the way, let the others know dead or alive. If there’s an order to pull back, you pull back, even if she’s in your sight. And you don’t tell anyone that I let you do this.” Marco said, handing Ace a few tools and a pair of gloves before the two got to work. He knew it was against protocol, knew that he should have told Ace to stay back, but he also knew the chances of Ace listening were slim. At least this way, he could keep an eye on Ace and have an extra hand to help him out. It felt like an eternity before he spotted you. Despite the fact that he knew which car you had, he’d agreed to help find survivors, meaning he was checking every car for those still alive and flagging down the others. Rushing over, his heart cracked. Your head was resting on the now deflated airbag against the steering wheel. Blood dripped down from your head, the dashboard pressing against your thighs, and your arms hanging limply at your sides. The young man tugged at the ruined door, the crushed metal holding fast. Taking a deep breath, he put both hands on the door, ignoring how the metal bit into his hands through the gloves as he pulled, the door finally giving way with a loud screech. The young man quickly cut you out, gently pulling you into his arms before carrying you back to the trucks. He’d let the others take care of the rest, even if they did need his help, Marco had just broken a lot of rules to let Ace look for you, it was best if he stayed with you now. Not that he wanted to leave your side as he placed you on a gurney, letting the paramedics take a look at you.
Sitting beside your hospital bed, Ace held your hand. While your injuries hadn’t been as bad, you still had some serious bruising, a blow to your head, a large number of scrapes, and your ankle was seriously sprained. A groan alerted him to your regaining consciousness, looking around in confusion before your eyes landed on Ace.
“Ace? Am… am I in a hospital?” you asked, wincing in pain as your conscious mind finally took note of the injuries.
“Yeah, you were in a bad accident, huge pile up. You made it out pretty well though. Better than most.” he said, giving you a small smile.
“I… I remember some of it. I remember seeing something happening… something happened with the car in front of me… I… I tried to stop…” you trailed off as Ace nodded in understanding.
“You uh, you did great. You’re alive which means that you did really well.” he said, gently stroking your hair, “You’re still here… that’s all that matters.” tears gathering in his eyes.
“Of course I’m here, I’m never leaving. I promise.” you said, cringing as you reached up to caress your cheek. Ace nodded, holding your hand against his cheek as he leaned into your touch.
“You had me scared for a bit there. I… you weren’t answering your phone. I was worried that your condition was critical.” he said softly, letting a few tears fall.
“Ace… can you… can you do me a favor?” you asked, looking at the worried young man as he nodded vigorously.
“Anything, just say the word, Y/n. you know I’d do anything for you. Whatever you want.” he said, his enthusiasm making you laugh slightly.
“Ask someone when I can go home. I just came out of a car accident. All I want is to curl up with you, maybe a good movie and some popcorn, maybe a good book, I don’t know, I just know I want to be home and in your arms.” you said, making him smile.
“I’ll see what I can do. Aside from your head, your injuries really aren’t severe so we might be able to get you home.” he said, kissing your forehead before going to look for a doctor.
Carrying you into the apartment, Ace carefully set you on the couch, stroking your hair as he looked you over. He’d been treating you like glass ever since you’d woken up, not that you didn’t understand.
“Here we are. Home sweet home. Is there anything you want? Food? A drink? A pillow?” he asked, making you smile and shake your head.
“Just you, Ace. All I want is for you to hold me.” you said, smiling when he pulled you into a tight embrace, holding you close.
“Thought you’d never ask. I’ve wanted to do nothing but hold you since I found you in the car. You’ll be safe in my arms from now on. No matter what.” he whispered as he held you, letting you drift off to sleep in his arms. Everything about what had happened had drained you, right now, all you wanted was some sleep in the arms of the man who loved you.

Riding Lessons

Warnings: suggestive, GN!Reader, alcohol consumption
Word Count: 1295
Sipping at your drink, you watched the latest idiot haul himself up onto the mechanical bull. The country music that always played had long since faded into the background of your mind as you scoffed at the overconfident male. You’d seen guys like him before, men who wouldn’t last 5 seconds, so to speak. They were usually drunk or stupid, oftentimes both. There were, of course, the ones who were just overconfident, or trying to impress someone, but they usually didn’t last any longer than the drunken idiots. It had been a while since you’d seen someone fairly impressive ride the fake beast. Not that it was easy, you’d ridden it yourself a few times, but at least you had a decent time. Sure enough, the man was thrown pretty quickly, making you roll your eyes. The only one to truly impress you was someone you hadn’t even met, but he had the record time on the board. Vaguely you wondered if you’d ever be able to meet him, you were here often enough. Did he come here and just not ride? Maybe he came in at different times than you or had actually been from out of town. Sighing, you knocked back the rest of your drink as you watched a blond mount the mechanical bull. He didn’t seem like one of the usual riders, he didn’t look overconfident or drunk. At the same time, he looked sure of himself, like he knew how good he was. He was definitely good. The way he rode, taking his hands off the saddle, holding on with his thighs alone, smirking as he rode. It was enough that you were sufficiently impressed with the man, joining in on the cheers that went up for him once he was off. He hadn’t broken the record, but he’d been pretty good, piquing your interest. He sat down at a table with a brunette who looked about his age, and a much younger dark haired boy. The three laughed and chatted for a moment before the dark haired boy walked up to the bull, unbuttoning and shrugging off his shirt, drawing numerous whistles from the women.
“Looks like we have someone special riding tonight! Our current record holder, Ace!” the bar erupted into cheers that nearly deafened you as you stared at the young man. This was the guy who held the record, the one who’d caught your attention, the one that interested you the most. He certainly didn’t look like the typical riders, he was confident, but not cocky, he wasn’t stumbling drunk, though you suspected he’d had a drink or two, and while he waved at the crowd, he didn’t seem intent on impressing anyone. Though perhaps that was because he’d already impressed everyone by setting the record time.
Ace smirked as he looked around at the onlookers, hoisting himself up onto the bull, not even bothering to grab the saddle as he put a hand on his hat and gave the operator a thumbs up. The country music turned up as the bull started up hard, trying to send him flying. His body rocked with the machine, still not holding on as he chuckled. Marco and Thatch always wondered how he did it, how he rode so effortlessly, not bothering to hang on in the least. The spotlights on him made the red highlights in his hair stand out as sweat began to drip down his body. While he could make it look effortless, it was actually quite exhausting to ride like he was. If he’d been holding on to the saddle, hell, if he’d been holding on with his thighs, it might have been easier, but he really wanted to impress the crowd tonight, having had a couple of drinks already. Finally, he slipped, moving a little too far back, the machine throwing him off seconds from his record time, still holding his hat. Ace just laughed as he got up from where he’d been tossed to the ground, a huge grin still on his face, walking back over to Thatch and Marco.
Knocking back the last of your latest drink, you stood up, making your way over to the bull. You looked Ace’s way, your eyes meeting his before you mounted, giving him a quick wink before it started moving. You knew you wouldn’t beat him, hell, you were still holding the saddle, there was no way you’d manage to beat his seemingly effortless ride. But you weren’t looking to beat him, you were just looking to impress him. Finally, you felt yourself falter, biting your lip as you pushed yourself off the back as the front reared up. Could you have tried to hold on? Tried to reposition yourself and continue going? Sure, but you’d rather not risk the face plant in front of the cute boy you were trying to impress. Sliding off the back, you stumbled backwards, managing to keep yourself from falling as you caught yourself on the sides of the ‘ring’ the bull stood in. Looking over at your time, you smiled, while you hadn’t managed to beat his record, you’d managed to beat your own record. Still, you hoped it was enough to impress him.
Ace smirked when you’d winked at him, interested in the person who’d walked up so confidently after his little show. You were pretty good, enough that you’d gotten his attention.
“I think someone wants me to notice them.” he said, chuckling as he watched you.
“Question is, are you going to do anything?” Marco asked, raising an eyebrow at him. Ace shrugged, taking another drink.
“Might, they did pretty well, after all. And they went to all that trouble just to get my attention.” he said, eyeing you as you walked back to your spot, your gazes meeting once more. Ace finished his drink before getting up and walking over, hands stuffed in his pockets.
It didn’t take long for the object of your interest, Ace, to approach you, still shirtless as sweat ran down his body.
“Pretty impressive. So, what’s your name?” Ace asked casually, sitting down next to you, waving the bartender down and ordering another drink.
“Y/n, and you are the record holder that I’ve been interested in meeting.” you stated, feeling a little more confident than usual.
“You’ve been interested in me, huh? Well I hope I’ve lived up to expectations.” he said with a smirk.
“I expected someone a little older, maybe, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.” you said, giving him a flirty smile. Ace chuckled, and smiled at you.
“You know, unless I’m reading this wrong, I could show you how to uh, ‘ride’ if you’d like. We’ll have to go back to my place though.” he said, looking at you over the rim of his glass as he took a drink.
“Mmm, taught by the best? That’s a hard offer to refuse, but I barely know you, we haven’t even had dinner.” you teased, taking a sip of your own drink. You wouldn’t deny that you wanted to go back to his place, but that didn’t mean you couldn’t tease him beforehand.
“How about breakfast tomorrow morning instead? If you’d like and if you have time, you can stay all weekend, that way you’ll definitely get dinner.” he said, chuckling at the little ‘game’ you were playing.
“Oh, breakfast and dinner? Throw in lunch and you have yourself a deal.” you said, laughing slightly as you set some money on the bar to pay for your drinks.
“All three meals and ‘riding’ lessons? Feeling a little greedy? I better be getting something in return.” he said jokingly, paying for his own drinks before getting up, the two of you leaving the bar for ‘riding lessons’.

Warnings: mentions of death, killing, perhaps a little melancholy
Word Count: 1260
How long had you been alive now? Decades? Centuries? You’d lost track long ago, lost track of how long you’d been alive, your age, all of it. It had been interesting at first, not being able to die. Not even a bullet through the head or a literal knife to the heart could kill you. Neither freezing nor burning, not age or blood loss, nothing would kill you. You still felt pain, you still felt the flames on your skin or the knife in your heart, the blood leaving your veins, or the water in your lungs, but death never came for you. He never came for you because he was angry with you. No, angry didn’t cover it, he was livid. You hadn’t meant to piss him off so badly, hell, you’d loved him once, but a single argument had kept him away from you. At first you’d enjoyed it, being able to do reckless shit without having to worry about dying. Pain, maybe, time to heal, sure, but not death. Then you’d started taking out the ‘evils’ of the world, killing people to try and make the world better. Murderers, crime lords, and drug cartels, the occasional dictator or tyrant. But that, too, had eventually become tiresome. Death still technically came for them, but only after you’d left. They would only die after you were gone, so strong was his anger with you. After this little discovery and after you grew tired of killing, you decided to save people. You became a doctor, no patient died when you were around. Successful, life saving surgeries and treatments, your mortality rate of 0 instantly marking you as ‘the best surgeon of the generation’. None of them knew the truth, which was fine with you, but again, that grew tiring and once again, you moved on. Each new thing grew tiring after a while and now, even immortality had grown tedious and exhausting. So you did everything in your power to find death, to see him. If you could just fix things, maybe he’d finally let you die. It wasn’t necessarily that you ‘wanted to die’, just that immortality wasn’t as great as people made it out to be. Besides, you missed him, of all the things you’d let go of over time, your feelings towards him weren’t one of them. So instead you spent your time in the company of death, so to speak. People with terminal illnesses, out of control fires and war zones, anything to try to see him again. But he was as hard to catch as ever. Looking down at the summoning circle, you glared. It had taken so long to find the right spells, to find the right materials, but it would be worth it if this worked. A spell to summon death. Not a demon, nor an angel, not monsters, eldritch beings, or gods, but death himself. A binding spell stood on standby in the off-chance that he tried to escape, in the chance that he tried to get out of this.
Ace stood, confused, in the middle of a summoning circle, looking around for a moment before his eyes landed on you. Instantly, his eyes narrowed, glaring at you. He’d been avoiding you for centuries, doing anything not to go near you. Unlike you, he remembered the argument, remembered why he avoided you and why he refused to take you. It had been a ‘simple’ conversation, something that you hadn’t even thought about. What would happen to you when you died? Where would he take your soul? It was something he hadn’t wanted to think about, he was Death, he took souls, but yours was one he never wanted to take. You were the one person he never wanted to die. You should always be alive, skin warm and inviting, eyes bright and full of life, you should never feel cold, should never have to be taken from the world. The two of you had argued for hours about how he’d have to take your soul sooner or later, it was his job, to take souls to the afterlife, to take those who should be dead. But he wouldn’t, he couldn’t, not to you. Now, staring at you for the first time in centuries, he felt a lump form in his throat. You were just as beautiful as the day he’d last seen you, more tired, clearly exhausted, but still beautiful. Despite his hard look, tears began to gather in his eyes, he didn’t want to take you, yet at the same time, he wanted to hold you close again.
“Ace, I’m sorry.” you said softly. The first words to him in so long and they were an apology, “I’m sorry for the fight we had, but please, please stop avoiding me. I’m tired of immortality, I’m tired of not seeing you… I still love you. Even if you hate me, even if you never want to see me again, I still love you.” you whispered, looking down at the floor. Ace immediately gathered you up in his arms, holding you close.
“I don’t hate you, I could never hate you. I love you, I know I’ve been avoiding you and it seems like I hate you and that for some complicated reason I refuse to see you, but I love you. It’s as simple and terrifying as that.” he admitted, trying to hold the tears back.
“Then why do you do it? Why do you avoid me? Why do you refuse to see me?” you whispered, your arms wrapped around him.
“Because I don’t want to lose you. If I go near you, if I see you again, I have to take you. Humans… they aren’t meant to live for so long and you’re the one person I don’t want to take. I love you too much.” he said, burying his head into the crook of your neck. His words stabbed at your heart, and having been stabbed in the heart, you knew exactly how that felt. Closing your eyes, you were silent for a moment, you loved him too, more than words could say.
“Then don’t. Find another way. You’re Death, surely you can come up with something. Some other way to bend the rules or avoid taking my soul.” you offered, pulling back, caressing his cheek. Ace leaned into your touch, your hand still as warm and comforting as he remembered, if not a little rougher.
“I was already bending the rules by avoiding you, besides, you were the smart one, the one who always came up with all the great ideas.” he said with a chuckle, making you laugh slightly as well. Things felt almost like they had before your immortality, back when you’d sit on the couch together, cuddled up together.
“Then take me with you, you have to take me with you, no one ever said you had to deliver me.” you suggested, a mischievous smirk making its way across your lips. Ace laughed, picking you up and spinning you around before pulling you in for a passionate kiss.
“See? I told you, you were the smart one.” he said with a wide smile.
“It’s temporary while I figure out something more permanent.” you said softly, happy to be with him again.
“Well until then, you’re not leaving my side. You’re not allowed to.” he said teasingly, still holding you tightly.
“Why would I ever want to leave your side? I love you.” you said. You were reunited with your love, you never wanted to leave him again, so you wouldn’t.

Another World
This is an Ace version of My Law Fic Separate Worlds.
Warnings: mentions of Marineford, ‘theft’, injury
Word Count: 1190 Ace looked up at the skies, watching for anything that might be headed their way, anything that might be headed his way. He’d signed up for the personalized manga stories and after a few dozen packages the crew had taken notice that he always received a package once a month on the same day. They’d also notice that as soon as he got the package, he’d immediately head to his room and stay in there for hours. Subsequently, they’d taken to trying to steal his packages to find out what was in them. It wasn’t like he was trying to hide it from them, he’d show them what he was getting if they weren’t constantly trying to steal them, but they hadn’t even asked him what was in them, they just immediately went to stealing them. The one that surprised him the most was Marco, having expected him and Izo to at least come and ask him about it. Spotting a bird, Ace grinned, heading for the back of the ship, his eyes widening when he saw familiar blue wings to his left. The young man growled irritably as he ran faster, using his flames to boost himself into the air. Absolutely not! Ace reached out for the package the bird was carrying, only for Marco’s talons to snatch it away, inches away from him. Ace’s eyes narrowed, using the devil fruit powers to chase after the blond man. Part of him was afraid of Marco gripping it too hard, piercing its contents with his talons. Putting on more speed, he grabbed the package, the brown paper ripping as he and Marco both tugged on it. Finally the paper ripped, the book, thankfully, pulled away in Ace’s hands as he fell back towards the ship. Knowing that Marco would just try to catch him instead, he rocketed back towards the ship, hitting hard in a small burst of flames before bolting towards his room. The few spots of the ship that had caught fire when he landed would keep the others busy long enough to get to his room, Ace slamming the door behind him, book clutched tightly in one hand as he panted. Chasing after Marco hadn’t been easy, the phoenix was fast, strong, and smart, making Ace work to get his book away from him. The fire user flopped down on his bed, smiling as he opened the book. The last one had ended so abruptly, leaving him wondering what was going to happen. It wasn’t a cliffhanger, or anything but it still left him with so many questions. His smile widened as he laid eyes on Y/n. So absolutely stunning, nobody could ever possibly compare. He knew he was infatuated with them, that he wished that they were real, dreamed that they were real. Technically he believed they were real, he’d long since figured out secrets about their world, secrets about the story that they read. In the beginning the books they read had always been blurry, indistinct, but they hadn’t been since he had figured it out, a manga called ‘One Piece’. A story about a boy looking to become the next King of the Pirates. Ace’s smile softened, Y/n was as infatuated with him as he was with them. They didn’t think he was trash or a demon child, they cared about him exactly as he was. It was these feelings that had saved his life. It had come out shortly before he’d taken off to chase after Blackbeard, watching Y/n get upset over an arc called ‘Marineford’. An arc where he died saving Luffy. It was around this time that he’d figured out that he was a character in this story. When he’d saved Luffy from Smoker before going after the man. Things lined up too well, the single picture stories at the beginnings of chapters, and his fight with Blackbeard. He’d gone to Impel Down with this in mind. Gone there knowing how things might turn out and that Luffy very well might be coming after him. Event after event the story was like a prophecy of his death… and of Luffy’s pain. He’d decided then and there that he would change things, that he’d live. That Luffy wouldn’t have to deal with that pain. So when Akainu had taunted him, when the man had said those things, fighting every inclination to turn and try to kill the man, he continued to run, dragging Luffy with him. He’d closed his eyes and run, every step nearly killing him as Akainu continued to sling insults as he tried to kill the boys. His grip on Luffy’s hand had been so tight his own hand had almost wrapped into a fist, one he could punch Akainu with. It had been harder when Akainu had turned his insults to Luffy. That had hurt. It had hurt so much. To run away, to turn away instead of trying to stand up for his brother. It had gotten worse when Jinbei had taken Luffy, promising to get the boy to safety, knowing that Akainu would have to choose which boy to chase after and would likely choose Ace. So Ace had shoved Luffy towards Jinbei, the boy telling Ace to be careful and that they’d see each other again. Sure enough, the man had gone after Ace… for a while, until it became clear that the Whitebeard pirates wouldn’t let anything happen to him, protecting him. So he’d gone after Luffy. Ace would have gone after his brother if Marco hadn’t held him back. Jinbei had tossed Luffy over his shoulder, ready to dive into the water. Luffy might have been powerless in the water, but Akainu wouldn’t be able to chase them in the water and Jinbei could get Luffy away. It was at this point that Ace learned that while some things could be avoided or changed, others couldn’t, and Luffy was left with the X shaped scar of the later books. Still, Y/n had saved him and for that, he was eternally grateful. Ever since, their book had become clearer, allowing him to read some of it. It wasn’t anything important for the most part, but it let him keep up with what Luffy was doing, at least, what he assumed Luffy was doing. Ace grinned as Y/n sighed, laying their head down and resting as they put their latest fan piece aside. He loved it when they worked on something about him, a warm feeling spreading through him. He desperately wished he could see them in person, wished they could meet, so he could tell them how he felt. Maybe he could write the author of the books, they might be able to see into another world, maybe they could send a letter to that world too. No, no they did see into another world, they had some sort of power and could see into this world and they made it into a story, a story for him, a story where someone loved him and he… he loved them, even if it was from another world, a separate world.
