I’m considering coming out to my family as non-binary, and so today I brought up the subject of non-binary gendering/transgendering with my Dad as a casual conversational topic. He’s told me that if somebody is born a boy then they “should stay a fucking boy” and not trans to a girl or be a boy some days/girl other days/genderless other days.

I told him that I think gender identity should be something one can choose for themselves, and he says that nobody thinks like that and anybody who is trans/non-binary will just be shunned by every member of society they meet. He doesn’t think that people support n-b/t communities, because he doesn’t. He says to me that not staying one’s natural gender is wrong and against the point of being born a boy/girl.

Every person who reblogs this will have their URL written in a full-size writing book and when it is full I will show it to my father to illustrate to him the amount of people who believe that being non-binary is a valid gender identity.

no body no crime connects to fortnight and florida, and just for fun, im gonna throw in down bad in there too

we have este being cheated on (smells like infidelity), and then disappearing. but before she does, she says she ain't letting up until the day she dies, which is where fortnight comes in with "my husband is cheating, i wanna kill him" but again, she disappears before she can do that. fortunately, taylor decides to continue her friend's legacy (and she actually irl does have a boating license she got at 15 btw), she has experience covering up crime scenes and an alibi. in florida we get "your cheating husband disappeared, well, no one asks any questions here" and that you can beat any charges in florida. and what song also mentions moving to florida? fortnight, the one with the murdered husband and wife.

anyway, down bad is just este when she finds out about her cheating husband and starts planning a murder suicide, but taylor advises her against it. she tells her to fake her death and get to florida, where taylor will join her as soon as possible, she just has a couple of strings she needs to tie up.

for iheart radio taylor explained that florida is where criminals run to, to get a fresh start with a new identity, which is why este says "they'll say I'm nuts if I talk about the existence of you" because she's not este anymore. she's florence now, and florence doesn't have a cheating husband.
