Epic dragon wings!!
Do you wish you ever had wings to fly like Brooke? I wish I had wings, perhaps... I could fly from Brooke when she tries to eat me
Tumblr media
"In a way, yes! I wouldn't like to randomly grow a pair of wings but instead be an organism that is already born with wings. Such as, of course, an owl!"
Tumblr media
"I do often wonder about how it truly feels to be able to fly as a bird of prey. To be able to soar through the skies with ease and feel the wind going through your feathers."
"But alas, this life was not meant to be as that. Maybe in a past one I was a small owl finding my way around."
No, Brooke you cant eat the ham-

Every person need to be taught disability history
Not the “oh Einstein was probably autistic” or the sanitized Helen Keller story. but this history disabled people have made and has been made for us.
Teach them about Carrie Buck, who was sterilized against her will, sued in 1927, and lost because “Three generations of imbeciles [were] enough.”
Teach them about Judith Heumann and her associates, who in 1977, held the longest sit in a government building for the enactment of 504 protection passed three years earlier.
Teach them about all the Baby Does, newborns in 1980s who were born disabled and who doctors left to die without treatment, who’s deaths lead to the passing of The Baby Doe amendment to the child abuse law in 1984.
Teach them about the deaf students at Gallaudet University, a liberal arts school for the deaf, who in 1988, protested the appointment of yet another hearing president and successfully elected I. King Jordan as their first deaf president.
Teach them about Jim Sinclair, who at the 1993 international Autism Conference stood and said “don’t mourn for us. We are alive. We are real. And we’re here waiting for you.”
Teach about the disability activists who laid down in front of buses for accessible transit in 1978, crawled up the steps of congress in 1990 for the ADA, and fight against police brutality, poverty, restricted access to medical care, and abuse today.
Teach about us.

i don’t know who needs to hear this but it is possible to be groomed as an adult, especially when you’re freshly 18. there are 100% people out there looking to take advantage of young adults, along with said young adults’ immaturity & their excitement about being an adult/doing adult things. be careful out there. i speak from experience, so here’s a few things to look out for:
1) a friendship moving too fast, not even necessarily towards romance. if someone is talking about doing things with you that close friends do, or telling you you’re like a sibling/soulmate to them, or having you disclose highly personal things about yourself.. and you haven’t know each other for long… that’s a red flag. this applies online too, especially if they’re talking about doing things in person with you.
2) watch out for comments that are technically sfw but can be related to nsfw things. for me it was about being in normal yet revealing outfits, like beachwear and gymwear. these comments are meant to slowly move your comfort zone. same goes for nsfw “jokes.” they are not jokes, and are also meant to move your comfort zone. for trans people out there, also watch out for someone who’s telling you over and over how good you’ll look after transition (HRT, surgery). it seems like a compliment, i know, but in these cases, it’s fetishistic.
3) look for a power imbalance. are you shy and quiet, while they’re expressive and have a forceful personality? in what manner are they flirting with you, if they are? are you just going with the things they say in general, not giving your own input? do they tell you what you should/shouldn’t do often? do they care about your boundaries/other relationships, especially with an S.O? are they many years into adulthood - finishing their masters while you haven’t even started college?
not sure how to end this but just, please be careful ok? you aren’t immune from predatory people now that you’re an adult. no matter what anyone says, it is possible to be groomed after you turn 18, and if you have someone in your life that you think is grooming you, please get out of there, or at least begin to separate yourself from them. you’re worth more than that.

if non-hispanics reblogged it would help a ton!
so, i've been noticing lately that english speakers that don't support neopronouns have been saying stuff like "neopronouns are for americans, no one else uses neopronouns in other languages! they're confusing to non-natives!" and it honestly upsets me SO MUCH, because that's simply not true! neopronouns exist all around the world, and i'm here to speak for hispanic neopronoun users as an argentine myself.
spanish has neopronouns, hispanics use neopronouns! it's not debatable!
spanish does not have an equivalent to they/them, "someone dropped their wallet, if i find them i'll give it back to them" would be "a alguien se le cayó su billetera, si lo encuentro se la devolveré" (someone dropped his wallet, if i find him i'll give it back to him).
so, since there's many non-binary people that felt like they needed a gender-neutral pronoun for themselves, elle/le was invented as opposed to él/lo.
as you may know, a neopronoun is a pronoun that is not official to a language, and since elle/le is not official to spanish, it's a neopronoun to us.
and no, this isn't our only neopronoun.
we have others such as elli/li, ellu/lu, il/li, etc. that do not have a translation to english, kinda like how xe/xem, ze/zir, ae/aer, etc. do not have a translation to spanish.
and yes, these are actually used, and not only online: i've had many friends in my country that used these pronouns among nounself pronouns (a friend that used él/ella/elli/quack, another one that used elle/ella, etc.)
so, i've made an il/li/-i pronoun flag!
il/li are pronouns derived from italian, and they're one of the most common neopronouns around here!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: On the left, there's flag with 5 stripes all of the same size, the colors of these stripes from top to bottom are: green, lime, white, light purple, and desatured brown. The image on the right is the same flag with the color-meanings of each stripe, and from top to bottom, these are the meanings: Green - italian origins of the pronouns, Lime - disabled and neurodivergent users, White - neopronouns around the world, Light purple - trans hispanics, and Desaturated brown - people of color hispanics. End ID]
this is the flag with its meanings, any hispanic / spanish-speaker that IDs with these pronouns is free to use it!

In high school I was top of my IT class by far (and I wasn't this good at other classes), but despite this and generally being well behaved, my teacher would bully and call me out for every little thing I did... And the only conclusion as to why she did that, I am autistic (wasn't diagnosed at the time but it was clear i showed signs)
She even told me I could go for the higher level of BTEC (I'm British) and put me down for it, I had literally NOTHING wrong with my work, I was on track, results came back and I got a regular pass..... And I swear that was purposely done just to knock me....
She also used to scream at us all constantly for making noise.. Even when we were barely whisperering to help each other.... She also always did this right behind me and then laugh at me flinch.....
Something needs to be done about teachers who hate kids tbh
