If ML’s new song is connected to Blake I can’t picture anything more pathetic than that being in headlines alongside Blake’s latest headlines that are all about how the kids and Gwen changed his life and were the missing piece he needed. That would be pretty embarrassing of her. I do think most people in the general audience would be like why is she still talking about this. But since she didn’t even write it I’m sure it will just be a generic revenge song that only her little hardcore group on twitter finds some random way to make it be about Blake.

I agree with you. Most of the general audience probably won’t even think of Blake. That small group will make it about Blake because they always do, but nobody else will.

Her fans can claim it’s about Blake and maybe she will even play into that in a vague way at some point but it wasn’t written by her and the lyrics in the clip she posted don’t seem relevant to them.

@underneathitalldeepdives posted some spot-on thoughts about ML’s new single. It’s her usual, generic, “gettin revenge on a man who did me wrong” shtick, but fans who want to make a connection to Blake will pick and choose lines and twist them to fit their narrative.

Carson seemed very surprised but hyped about the reunion imo. He definitely spoke about it on pop start the Monday after the first show. I saw the clip posted at the time.

I know he’s super busy, but I’m surprised Carson didn’t attend the show. He’s always been very vocal about his love for ND. And he has been super supportive in comments under IG posts regarding the reunion. He clearly viewed it as a very positive thing.

With all of his kids plus his work schedule, something probably conflicted. Another person who I was surprised wasn’t there is Sophie. Unless I missed it, I didn’t see any evidence that she was at the show.

I don't think Carson felt negatively about it at all, he has always been a big fan. He seemed supportive imo, leaving positivr comments on G's IG etc

I think it was on Monday after the first Coachella show, I heard Carson mention Gwen and ND and that they would bring it up later in the show, but I had to leave to work and never heard what they said, I looked to see if anybody shared anything on Twitter on a break but never found anything.

I don’t think I’ve seen anything, and I couldn’t find it on the Today show account. Maybe it will surface at some point.

Did Carson make any sort of comment about the Coachella performances on Today? He seemed stunned when he announced it on the show, almost to the point that it seemed like he felt negatively about it.

I didn’t see or hear of anything. I’m surprised he didn’t bring it up on Pop Start.

GR GF will be used to attending these events with her sister and brother in law. They certainly wouldn’t have walked blocks to get to the event. They also go to a lot of celeb parties and different events.

he only seems to go to these, when he’s got a woman on his arm. For years he didn’t go to any, he be desperately trying to get his name on lists. But he’ll need to use “G’s Ex husband” as nobody will really know who he is.

Also a quick question, didn’t he lose a lot of “invites” friends/associates after the divorce over in the US?

I read over here in the UK, that a lot of shows wouldn’t have him on for interviews etc, people distanced themselves from him. Was that case and do you think it still is?

I only see him on podcasts these days.

I think it was actually that they had him on when he was married to Gwen because he was married to Gwen. But I’m sure he will spin it as he is a victim. He always does.

I’m not sure if Lambert is still with Marcel at True Public. At onetime he announced he was moving to Nashville. This was when he signed Dolly. But it looks like as of 2022 he’s back in LA. Looks like he represents mostly actors. Always a possibility that he handles some things for her but she’s not listed under his client list. She is listed on Ebie McFarland EBM firm (who also lists Ole Red but I think Wes handles that. He was at OR Vegas opening). She is still with the puppet master Marion Kraft. She even vacationed with ML/Bucky last summer in Europe. Lambert is her bread and butter. She’s not going anywhere.

On the one hand it’s disappointing that the girls from Worth the Wait are singing ML songs on AI after Blake helped them so much. On the other hand like we’ve said it’s just business and they are trying hard to make it. I wouldn’t even be surprised if AI producers were behind them trying out and doing ML knowing it would generate buzz. The reason most of these younger girls do ML songs can be blamed on the country music industry. They only promoted ML and Carrie for a decade. Very few singers have the vocal chops to cover Carrie. ML’s songs are easier to sing. Related note. I watched Kristin Chenoweth’s Glee performances on YT after she performed in Tulsa with Blake. She absolutely killed Carrie’s “Last Name”

The unfortunate reality is a lot of ML fans have been around forever (admittedly a lot longer than we have) and are almost always right about song narratives because they understand the history there. While I don’t believe it’s about Blake I totally believe that it is deliberately on the nose and inspired by him like they are predicting. I also remember them discussing the background Republic deal as early as June last year. Imperial looks like a place card under which she could release music until the official Republic deal could be made.

Her fans are delusional so I do take what they say with a huge grain of salt!
