Whumper digging their heel into whumpee’s bullet wound, making them release a strangled scream.
Whumpee’s mind goes blank as the searing pain invades all of their senses.
Bonus points if Caretaker has to watch.

SENSORY WHUMP!!!
- Loud, unpredictable noises to keep whumpee awake and alert
- Strong smells. It doesn’t matter if it’s something that would typically be considered a nice smell. Under the right circumstances or amount of time, anything from the smell of a warm meal to a fancy perfume can invoke nausea.
- A nice bit of pavlov! Associating certain things, such as sounds or sensations, with certain behaviors.
- Just the feeling of a weapon pressed against skin. Not breaking it, not even causing any physical pain, just keeping someone in suspense.
- Sensory-enhancing drugs
- Keeping a whumpee bundled up even in hot weather. Yeah it’s 80 degrees but if you take off that winter coat you’re not getting anything when it hits 20.
- Beating up a blindfolded whumpee. They have no idea where they’re going to be hit next or when.
- Forcing a whumpee to touch an exposed innard or gut. Come face to face with your own mortality AND weird uncomfortable feeling.
- Headphones constantly blasting loud noises. (for work i sometimes have to take orders with headphones and god it is so so painful whenever someone just yells directly into my ears. i am projecting.)

Whump Idea
Yes I know this is my first time posting whump (or really posting on this acc) but I had an idea!
A Whumpee who loves colors, rainbows 🌈
And a whumper who wears different colors depending on how they’re going to torture Whumpee that day.
Red means whumper is going to cut Whumpee
Orange means fire
Yellow means electricity
Green means they’re going to be drugged
Blue means waterboarding/ water torture
Purple means they’re going to be tied in uncomfortable positions (leaving purple bruises where they’ve been tied) and left all day.
Pink is Whumper’s favorite, it means they’re mixing a bit of multiple.
Black is Whumpee’s favorite. It means Whumper is ignoring them that day. Sure it also means no food or water, but that’s surely better than having Whumper’s attention.
Grey means Whumper is feeling nice, and they’re going to cuddle.
Whumper never wears white, that’s for Whumpee to wear so Whumper can see all their blood and scars beneath the fabric.
Just imagine the recovery for Whumpee after all this, someone who once loved having every color in their room needing everything to be black or white. Panicking when they see colors they used to love. Going outside is a nightmare.
How is Caretaker going to get rid of this kind of conditioning?

Touch Starved
Character who:
instinctively flinches away from the first offer of contact
pulls back before their friend/partner can touch them, recoiling like a scared animal,
then stews in regret about the instinctive movement for days afterward, thinking about the missed opportunity,
wishing they could go back and accept it
wishing they could find a way to muster up the courage to ask for it
hungry for even a trace of contact, following their friend/partner around with silent, begging eyes, needing it so badly but unable to form the words for the request...
and then finally being hugged by surprise as someone comes up from behind them and wraps their arms around them
it feels so good, they can't even breathe for a moment,
tears prickle in their eyes the moment the other person pulls away
wait, they can barely whisper,
but this time their friend/partner hears them, wraps them in their arms, and doesn't let go for the longest time -
and this time, when their friend tries to disentangle themselves, the touch-starved character grabs onto their shirt or arms and holds on, too tight to allow them to pull away again. They're not about to let go of this ever again, now that they've finally found it.

A character who's been shot is captured by enemies/bad guys. They're bleeding badly, and their captors need them alive. The bullet is removed, and the wound is poured with alcohol and bandaged tightly - none of it is done gently, and, being tied up (and maybe gagged), they can do nothing but scream and cry out in pain while enduring the rough treatment.

"How much do you care for your Whumpee?" Whumper asked Caretaker in a nonchalant tone.
Caretaker glares viciously at him. "They don't mean anything to me." They tell the boldfaced lie with as much confidence as they can muster.
"Is that so?" Whumper asks, amused this time. "So if for example, I had Whumpee bound and gagged in the back of my car, that would mean nothing to you?"
"Nothing at all," Caretaker replies, the lie hurt but they had to protect Whumpee.
Whumper fixed Caretaker with a calculating stare. "Well then, I suppose I won't be needing them anymore." He lifted his phone to his ear. "Hear that Henchman? You can dispose of the brat now."
Ice rushed into Caretaker's lungs. All their bravado slipping away. "No!" They shouted.
"I thought they meant nothing to you?"

A Defiant, Proud Whumpee
A proud whumpee that is broken slowly. They give just a little the further along things get, until they're completely obediant.
(They slump onto their knees, exhausted, glaring up at Whumper. Just this once, they tell themself. Just until they can sleep again.)
Or a defiant whumpee who is broken suddenly. Maybe they'd been fighting for years, but Whumper finally found the one thing they can't take.
(No, no, no- they watch as Whumper prepares to give the signal. I can't let them die. "Stop! Please! I'll listen, I'll do anything!" They sob, tears falling free infront of their captor for the first time.)

We need more vain/egotistical whumpees, please
Whumpees who won't allow anyone to see them cry, no matter how much they need the support, they can't take any more blows to their ego
Whumpees who refuse pain medication because they think it makes them look weak
Whumpees who act mean or cold to those who try to help them because it's the only thing that keeps others away from them
Whumpees that are encouraged to ask for help, but think that others would be impressed if they didn't ever need it
Whumpees that cannot, under any circumstance, allow others to know what has happened to them, even if it allows Whumper to get away with it, because what would the others think of me if they knew how weak and helpless I was? Or that it actually left a lasting impact on me?
Whumpees who obsessively cover up their scars with makeup
Whumpees who isolate themselves whenever the people around them get too 'invasive' by asking basic questions about Whumpee's mental state
Whumpees who are offended at the mere mention that they may have actually been traumatized, because they're too strong/tough/resilient for anything to actually affect them, and claiming anything else amounts to a personal insult
Whumpees who will not tell anyone if they're sick or injured because they don't want anyone to see them hurting, until they collapse and have to be dragged to a doctor
Whumpees who think that they're better than others because they were strong enough to survive nevermind the debilitating trauma

whumpee can't even tell if whumper has drugged them or if the constant, intense torture has just pushed their mind too far that nothing seems real.
they hear screams that they can only assume are theirs. they see blood, too much blood. their body is wracked with sensations, but they're too detatched to process it as pain. or as their own.
and when a flood of strangers enter the room, with noise and lights, and lift whumpee's broken body onto a stretcher, whumpee assumes that it has to be a hallucination their dying mind created.

CW: hostage situation, death threats, threats of dismemberment
"Why should I do what you want?" Caretaker asked, twirling a pen between two fingers.
"Why indeed." Whumper's deep voice came over the phone line.
"I am not going to risk my reputation for you."
"Is that so? Well, we'll just have to see about that."
The line went dead and Caretaker rolled his eyes. There was always someone who wanted something from him. He really didn't think anything of it when his phone rang about an hour later. Glancing at the familiar flash of his brother's name across the screen he answered and held the phone to his ear.
"Whumpee," he said, his attention half returning to the computer screen.
"Caretaker," it has been a long time since he'd heard that tremble in his younger brother's voice. Everything he had done, everything he'd accomplished, all the power he had amassed, it had all been done in the name of keeping Whumpee safe and well. His brother was his world.
"What's wrong?" Caretaker asked immediately.
There was a shaky little breath and then a rustling of the phone before another voice filled the line. "You really shouldn't leave something so precious to you so very vulnerable. You never know who might just... Snatch him up."
Rage, terrible and blistering tore through him at those words. But it was nothing compared to the shot of ice that raced up his spine when his younger brother's scream filled the line.
"Stop! Stop, don't you fucking lay a hand on Whumpee!" Caretaker snarled.
The scream cut off with a sharp slapping sound followed by a groan. "Tell your brother what I told you," Whumper said, there was another sharp slap and Caretaker couldn't hold back another tirad of cursing.
"He... He said..." His brother's voice was barely audible. Another slap.
"Louder Whumpee, I want to make sure your big brother hears this."
There was the telltale signs of tears in Whumpee's voice. "He said you will help him get what he wants... Or... Or... He'll kill me."
"That wasn't it Whumpee,"
Caretaker swallowed hard. "It's okay Whumpee, just tell me."
"All you'll get back is a finger," Whumpee finished with a horrible sob.

Caretaker seeing a normally stoic and confident whumpee, now cowering, shaking and terrified because of whatever the the Whumper has done to them.
Drugs, shock treatment, mental torture - anything.
The harsh contrast gives me chillssss

Whumpee is back, and it's time to celebrate. There's cake, and music, the whole nine yards.
Members of the team keep talking to them, telling them how glad they are that it's "over."
Over.
Whumpee has to escape the party and go hyperventilate in the bathroom.
Things are so far from "over."

Whumpee who cries.
Whumpee who cries in great, violent, racking sobs that shake their whole chest.
Whumpee who cries silently, tears rolling down their face as they refuse to move of make a sound.
Whumpee who hugs themself and curls into a ball as they cry.
Whumpee who cries so hard for so long their whole face and head hurt.
Whumpee with eyes that are bloodshot from crying, and their face is sticky with tears.
Whumpee who cries until they can’t cry any more, only twitching and making little sobbing noises while no tears come.

Fatigue.
The type of fatigue you swear you can almost feel in your bones. The type that makes gravity feel so much stronger.
Character A exceeded their limit after trying to hide their fatigue from the rest of their group. But in the end it overook them, leaving them collapsed as the team worries about them.
