Interestingly, that poll (now deleted) is about what I was considering doing for the next run of the bracket. Have a series of preliminary rounds where characters are grouped together by theme (i.e Norse Gods, Trope Talks characters, History Makers, ect.).

Seeding would be roughly based off the results of the prelims. Basically, the winner of each round, then the 2nd in each, then 3rd, and so on, until 32 slots are filled.

Might even do an initial couple polls to decide just what categories to include. The downside is this could be a little skewed as everyone could only vote once.

I think if there’s a round 3 we might have to not include Cleo, she’s too powerful

That was already the plan, actually. I'm thinking of, if there is a round 3 down the road, limiting the playing field a bit. I just haven't decided how much I'd limit it. Just no Cleo? Neither cat? No cats and none of the Colors? No winners of previous rounds? (Sorry, Monkey.) I'll figure that out later. But yes, Cleo conquers all(most all), there's just no stopping her.
