So Im 22 and have a huge colection of plushie Panda Bears as well as overall obsession with Pandas (pillows, clothes, purses, onecie... I have a lot of different kinds of pandas). My family always said I will have hard time finding a serious relationship because I overall like childish things like animal shaped pillows or baskets, aprons with batman on them, sceletons and other halloween decoration all year round and a whole lot of eevees. Well MOM now I have a beautiful and perfect girlfriend(26yo) who loves the same stuff and has simmilar obsession to my panda one, she likes Aplacas. So now we are around a year in into our relationship, we live together and have all the childlish stuff we want(and can afford) in our apartment and hang out with matching alpaca and panda onesies.

Roach is not necessarily a female since Geralt called all of his horses the same name no matter the gender and they were all similarly looking. That was in the books. In the show you can see that in some shots they actually used a male horse so there is a big chance it is the situation there as well.

Hey guys! For everyone incorporating Roach into their fanfics, here are some horse terms!

Roach is a mare, a female horse. They are called mares even if they've been spayed (this is pretty dangerous for female horses and still is pretty risky today, I doubt geralt sprays her) and their heat cycles can be regulated, but again, kinda hard to do, especially on the road/without modern medicine. The mares I have experience with tend to be playful/sassy. Again, perfect for Roach.

A gelding is a castrated male horse. They're very chill tempered and calm. Since Geralt prefers spunky horses a mare makes sense for him.

Stallions are ungelded male horses. They're very high strung, a lot to handle and aggressive for the most part.

From what I can tell, Geralt rides an english saddle, which has no saddle horn. Honestly I understand why he doesnt ride western because the horn often gets in the way.

Sorry for the long winded post, I just get annoyed when people call Roach a gelding!
