In October 2006, the body of an unidentified female was found in Kilgore, Texas. Her true identity and that of her killer have both yet to be discovered; and so for now, people refer to her as the Lavender Doe.
Not much is known for certain about the physical appearance of the Lavender Doe because she was found lying face-down in a pile of burning bush, her corpse having been severely burnt. Semen was found during the forensic examination which indicated that she may have been raped prior to her death. Things found at the crime scene included a pair of jeans, a purple sweater and forty dollars in her pocket.
The Lavender Doe is described as white or possibly Hispanic, between the ages of 17 to 25 years old, weighing in between 100lb to 120lb and standing at around 5′3 to 5′5. Her hair is thought to have been a reddish-blonde, strawberry blonde or even a light brown.

On Friday 14 September 2007, fourteen-year-old Andrew Gosden disappeared from King’s Cross Station, London. He has not been seen since.
On the day of his disappearance, Andrew left the house at 8:05am, but instead of going to school, he diverted to a local park where he was spotted by a family friend. He waited there until sure his family had left for the day. Once home, Andrew removed his school uniform, put it in the washing machine and changed into a pair of black jeans and a Slipknot t-shirt. Before leaving again, he took his bag, keys, wallet and his Playstation Portable, leaving the charger behind.
This truant behaviour has been reported as odd for Andrew. By all accounts, he was a well behaved boy. Not only was he enrolled in the Young Gifted and Talented Programme but he also had a 100% school attendance rating. There have been no reports of Andrew being bullied or showing any of the classic signs of depression.
After leaving his house, Andrew was seen on CCTV walking towards a garage where he withdrew £200 from his own bank account via an ATM. From there, he headed to Doncaster Railway Station where he purchased a one-way ticket to London. Later, when interviewed by police, the ticket seller recalled informing Andrew that he could purchase a return ticket for £1 extra but stated he declined, insisting on the one-way ticket. At 9:35am, Andrew was seen boarding the train to London alone.
Andrew was reported missing at 7:00pm, when his parents realised that he was not in his room doing homework or in the cellar playing video games like they had assumed. Within hours, a missing persons leaflet was drafted, it was discovered that Andrew had left behind £100 in his bedroom and friends and family had searched the route to his school and the nearby area. Nothing was found.
The dominant theory regarding Andrew Gosden’s case is that he had gone to London to meet someone from the Internet but the police have all but ruled that out. Andrew had never been a very social boy, didn’t have an e-mail address, was not interested in the only computer in the house, and never even connected his Playstation Portable to the Internet.
The police have been heavily criticised regarding Andrew’s case as they took their time clearing the family before listening to witness statements and they often took weeks to get in touch with anyone who left possible sightings.
The last confirmed sighting of Andrew is at 11:20am on CCTV when he leaves King’s Cross station. Andrew is deaf in one ear, wears strong prescription glasses and has a unique double ridged right ear.

On 28th May 1998, a fisherman came across the skeletal remains of an unidentified male in the Coosa River, in Gadsden, Alabama. No clothing or other items were located with the body and his lower jaw and various upper teeth were missing.
Later, it was learned that the deceased had most likely died several months to a year before being discovered and that the probable cause of death was the entrance and exit wounds to his skull. As well as being shot, the victim suffered from sharp force trauma to both the base of his spine and his right hip bone. Additionally, there were signs that someone had attempted to burn his bones.
John Doe was described as being an African-American male of 17-21 years old and around 5′6 to 5′9 tall. Due to the advanced stages of decomposition, his eye and hair colours, along with his weight are unknown. Both DNA and dental testing are available and Kevin McClam has been ruled out as a possible identity.

Jarkeius Adside was just a year old when he was abducted from his babysitter’s house in Miami, Florida on 18 October 2001.
At the time of his disappearance, Jarkeius was living with his babysitter, Gwendolyn Brown, due to both his parents being incarcerated. When Brown reported Jarkeius missing, she explained that she’d only just realised that he was gone. She told investigators that upon returning home from taking her teenage daughter to the bus stop, her house was ambushed by three unidentified, armed men.
The intruders bound both Brown and her boyfriend, Jeffrey Cochran with duct tape while demanding money. In their reports to police, Brown and Cochran mentioned hearing a gunshot. Police were immediately skeptical of their story, asking why it took them so long to call for help. Brown replied that it had taken them two hours to free themselves from their bonds. They added that they once free, they realised the house had been ransacked, numerous items were missing and that Jarkeius was nowhere to be seen.
In a search of the residence, police found bloodstained sheets and a mattress, which is where they supposed Jarkeius was shot. Investigators aren’t sure why the intruders would kill or seriously harm baby Jarkeius and then take him with them. In addition to the stained bed, Jarkeius’ blood was also found in other areas of the house as well as several grams of cocaine. The cocaine led to both Brown and Cochran being arrested on drug charges.
Jarkeius’ mother has expressed that she believes Brown and Cochran’s story, however she adds that she’s positive that Jarkeius is alive and being raised by someone else.

12-year-old Peter Levine was a student at Leonard Junior High School in New Rochelle, New York. It was the 24th of February, 1938, and school was finishing for the day. Peter walked half way home with a friend. They parted ways when Peter stopped at a store to buy some candy. At some point between saying goodbye to his friend and entering the store, Peter was abducted.
Over the forthcoming months, Peter’s family received a number of ransom notes. His father was as a high-end New York lawyer and earned a hefty salary. “Dear Dad - Please give these men the money. I have a bad cold. Peter,” the back of one grim note was signed. His father was keen to pay the ransom but the kidnapper soon turned silent. The following month, a message was discovered written in the snow which told police to search Bronx lake to find the body of Peter. However, it turned out to be a hoax.
It wouldn’t be until May that what became of Peter would finally be revealed when his body washed ashore on Glen Lake. He was wearing the same exact clothing he wore on the day of his disappearance. His shirt had the name “Peter Levine” stitched on the inside. His head, hands, and feet had been cruelly chopped off. All that remained of Peter was a torso bound in wire. The specific cause of death could not be determined but it was evident he had been murdered in one way or another. The murder was never solved.

True Crime Community VS. What I call the “True Crime Crazies.”
Those who romantasize/normalize serial killers are not part of the True Crime Community. They’re the True Crime Crazies who are morally incorrect and disrespect the victims of these killers.
Binging True Crime Documentaries and looking into why people turn out to be Serial Killers can make you an intellectual. But making edgy edits of Serial Killers and claiming “Electric Chair” Is a slur, calling serial killers ‘innocent beans :)’ and drawing them with flower crowns does NOT make you an intellectual.
It makes you a disturbed human being with no regard for the family of the victims. It’s vile and absolutely not acceptable that people genuienly think it’s okay to say these people are innocent. Ted Bundy is not innocent. He’s not a ‘bad boy uwu’ he was a fucking crazed Serial Killer who absolutely deserved to die for his crimes.
The True Crime Crazies are toxic and can’t handle the truth that their beloved ‘Innocent Beans’ are mentally ill people who took the lives of others. These edits and ‘fanarts’ are extremely disrespectful to the victims and their families.
I’m part of the True Crime Community myself. I do NOT condone violence against others, and I do NOT condone what Serial Killers have done. I’m interested in 1. Why they ended up the way they did, and 2. I wish to become part of the FBI someday because it’s interesting to me.
I don’t think these Serial Killers are attractive. I don’t think they are innocent. Because they aren’t. Each and every one deserves the Electric Chair.
Speaking of Electric Chairs, it’s not a slur. Electric Chair is not a slur. It was a punishment used against those who comitted MURDER. People need to get that through their heads. It’s not healthy to be obsessed with Serial Killers like this. It is NOT okay to be in love with these people. It’s not okay to normalize them.

On the 24th of August, 1955, 14-year-old Emmett Till went to Bryant’s Grocery and Meat Market in Money, Mississippi, to purchase some candy. Emmett was from Chicago and was in Mississippi visiting some relatives. At the store, Emmett was accused of whistling at and grabbing 21-year-old white store clerk, Carolyn Bryant. This action violated the Jim Crow social code and his fate was sealed.
In the early morning hours of the 28th of August, 1955, Carolyn, her husband, Roy, and his half-brother, John Miliam, appeared at Mose Wright’s house which was where Emmett had been staying. Emmett’s great-aunt offered them money in the hopes that they would cause no trouble but it was fruitless. They grabbed Emmett and shoved him in their truck before dropping Carolyn back home and driving out to an isolated barn. Once there, Emmett was pistol-whipped and beaten. Afterwards, he was shot dead and thrown in Tallahatchie River.
Two days later, Emmett’s body was found. His mother insisted on an open-casket funeral in Chicago. His face was so mutilated that it was unrecognisable. The brutality of his slaying sparked outrage and gave urgency to the civil rights movement. Eventually Bryant and Miliam were indicted for murder. During the trial, African American Willie Louis testified against the two white men, something Emmett’s family described as a “godsend.” At the time, his testimony would have posed great danger in the segregated south and it’s astounding that nothing untoward happened to him afterwards. Louis told the court that had spotted Emmett with Bryant and Miliam as he walked home and had heard the beating taking place in the barn. “I heard the screaming, beating, the screaming and beating,” he said.
The trial was extremely informal. Jury members were often drunk and many male white spectators carried handguns. During the trial, Bryant and Miliam confessed that they had taken Emmett that night but claimed that they had let him go. The defence had even argued that the body could have been anyone’s and not Emmett. An all white, all male jury acquitted both men. Years later, several members of the jury would acknowledge they knew the two men were guilty but didn’t see anything wrong with white men killing African Americans.
At the 60 year anniversary of Emmett’s murder, his family and friends gathered at his grave. Also in attendance was Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, and Michael Brown Sr., the father of Michael Brown Jr. “Black lives matter. Black lives mattered when Emmett was killed. Black lives mattered when Fred Hampton and Mark Clark were killed. Black lives matter even today,” said U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush.
I’m 2017, Carolyn Bryant admitted she had fabricated the story and that Emmett hadn’t touched her or attempted to.
