my 3 favourite pictures i took from todays studio class, these are the edited ones, i love the colour of the second one as its the red im going for, but the rest is great too, ishad to buy 2 red polishes from primark before heading to collage and that explains why i was 10 min late, the que to get these and the huge hill, exhausted even thinking about it aha.

before and after editing photos from today of my model Louise. i used light room and photoshoot to make the little touches on the skin and background. i used a white background with red and green gel over the lights.

Post Production- Colour Management

What is gamut?  - It is a range of colours. In general life, it also may refer to the total range of colours we can see with our eyes

What is a colour space? - its a part of the colour gamut, which there is millions of colour tones

What two colour spaces do most DSLR cameras offer? - They offer  adobe RGB and sRGB. 

What colour space can most computer monitors display? -sRGB

If you switch from sRGB to Adobe RGB on your camera what colours will you see an improvement in? -  the colours red green and maybe a few blues will be brighter.

When you change the colour space in photoshop what does it do? - the colours become brighter.

Name a larger colour space than Adobe RGB? - pro photo RGB

What can happen to a digital image if you map colours to a really large colour space? - the colours become more vibrant and over exposed

In todays class (Monday 14/3) we printed all the photos before class and we placed them out, everyone wrote what they thought about the photos then choose 6 and discussed why we choose them

We choose these ones for the final effect, I need to recover still life and Portraiture

This is my inspiration for Mondays studio class, I will bring an orange and coco powder to get the affect of the chocolate turning into powder, I also have an chocolate orange to make sense to but a orange beside it, I also have kinder , I brought a glass and some milk, I will then put some chocolate powder on top. I will put the light either on top or on a 45degree lightning. I will also put them on a white plate so it has some levels

Mondays task was on product photography. For this photoshoot I took pictures of a soap box and the actual soap. I edited a little bit as the white background wasn't the white I wanted. I edited them on adobe Lightroom and photoshoot 

.

My Camera settings didn’t change much from the ISO being at 100, the shutter speed staying at 1/125, and the aperture stayed at F8. Shooting on white balance helped the shots look more white as the object was a orange colour. I also used the flash setting but I didn't like the result

TIL- today I learned

1. how to make a white background a pure white background in a photograph.

2. putting a object facing right as we read writing left to right

3. how to put a white paper so there's no bends etc.  flattening them out
