Reblogs are turned off on that original post but I followed the Facebook page that was providing updates on Deux Face, Breaux Farms LLC. On 3/3, they posted this update:
“Deux Face update 3/3, she is still doing well. We are seeing some minor progress with her using her legs to try and push her self up in the calf sling. She is also getting a little stronger with moving her head. These are improvements are minor but we are noticing some improvements. She is still unable to stand or hold her head up much. Her head is extremely heavy for her, so this will take some time to build up her muscles. We have brought her out side to get some sun and a little time with the other cows. The cow on the left in the video is her mother. We have not been able to keep up with all the comments and questions, but will try to answer a few.
No, she is not for sale.
For her safety and well being we are not allowing any visitors or photos.
Also for her wellbeing and our privacy. We are not allowing any media involvement.
Both mouths are connected at the back of her throat.
She does feed from both mouths but we mainly feed her from the left one. Her right mouth is slightly deformed making it harder for her to latch on to the bottle.
We also want to thank everyone for all the kind words.
We will post more updates when we have time.”
Please don’t fight about anything related to this calf in the notes of this post. I don’t want this calf to suffer, so I’m mainly following her progress to see how the farm handles her situation. For now she’s a beautiful calf and I hope the farm’s confident that she isn’t suffering at the moment. And we all love that poem.

OP of the original post turned off reblogs but as of 3 hours ago 3/3/24 Deux Face is still alive and doing well!! According to the farm's Facebook she is starting to try to stand and getting better at holding up her head. The farm has been very clear that they're going to care for her and do their best to meet her needs, they are not planning to sell her or show her off to the media. They also haven't mentioned any other noticeable deformities inside or out and have noted that both heads connect at the same throat, and she's lived for about 5.5 days at this point which is shockingly long for an animal with this level of deformities. Go Deux Face!
